In many polymers under corrosive liquids, degradation followed after permeation of environmental solution for a long period. The permeation rate of environmental solution, in many cases, is very low in corrosion-resistant polymeric materials. Therefore, the observation of the permeation of environmental solution and degradation of polymeric materials are very difficult in practical application. A simulation of permeation of solution is required in order to understand the permeation behavior of environmental solution and polymer degradation. A detailed analysis of the permeation behavior of solution accompanied by chemical reaction is important to study for improving the lifetime of polymers. Polyamide 66 (PA66) and sulfuric acid solution were used to investigate the quantitative study of permeation of environmental solution and its relation to degradation of polymeric materials. Correlation between diffusion process and degradation of PA66 related to the decrease of weight average molecular weight was defined. The diffusion rate of sulfuric acid solution was found to increase by decreasing weight average molecular weight of PA66 due to the established chain scission by hydrolysis reaction. The permeation of sulfuric acid solution that affected the decomposition reaction was modeled and quantitative evaluation of permeation of sulfuric acid was established.  相似文献

Aiming to develop a high performance fiber reinforced rubber of SBR, a special technique using electron beam (EB) irradiation-induced graft-polymerization was applied to ultra-high molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers. Although UHMWPE is chemically inert, N-vinyl formamide (NVF) could be graft-polymerized onto the UHMWPE fiber surface with this special technique. A maximum grafting percentage of 23.6% was achieved. The composite of SBR and grafted UHMWPE fibers with maximum grafting indicated a linear increase in the initial modulus and strength with the fiber content. At the fiber content of 10%, the initial modulus was improved about five times with respect to that of the pure SBR, while the strength was done about twice. At this moment, only a small reduction could be observed in the strain compared with that of pure SBR. The fiber reinforced rubber with a good performance was obtained in the system of SBR and grafted UHMWPE fibers.  相似文献

The diffusivity and viscosity of water confined in micropores were studied by molecular dynamics simulations. The effects of pore width and density were analyzed at pore widths from 0.9 to 2.6nm. The diffusivity in micropores is lower than that of the bulk, and it decreases as pore width decreases and as density increases. But the viscosity in micropores is much larger than that of the bulk, and it increases as pore width decreases and as density increases. The diffusivity in channel parallel direction is obviously larger than that in channel perpendicular directions.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structure of IX, perchlorate salt of R-(–-2-ethyl-N-benzyl-4,7,19,13-tetraoxa-8,9-benzo-1-azacyclopentadec-8-ene has been determined. In the molecule, the protonated nitrogen atom participates in two N-HO hydrogen bonds. The unusually high proton affinity of aza crown ether leads to the formation of diastreomer instead of complex formation with chiral R-(+)-1-phenyl ethyl ammonium perchlorate and S-(–)-1-phenyl ethyl ammonium perchlorate. The complex ability of host ethers was evaluated in terms of structural modification.  相似文献

N"-Substituted isonicotinic hydrazides of the general formula Py—C(=O)—N(H)-N"=C(H)—R, where R is o- (1), m- (2), or p-nitrophenyl (3), were studied by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The position of the nitro group in these compounds has no effect on the type of the crystal structure. The crystal packings are based on stacks consisting of antiparallel planar molecules. The molecules from the adjacent stacks are linked to each other via the N—H...NPy hydrogen bonds. Depending on the position of the nitro group, the N...NPy distance increases in the series 3 > 1 > 2 and the energy of the hydrogen bonds decreases (according to the IR spectroscopic data) from 3.9 to 3.1 kcal mol–1. Analysis of the IR spectra demonstrated that the intensity of absorption in the (C—H) stretching region of the pyridine ring increases substantially as the the N—H...NPy hydrogen bond is strengthened. Some regularities of the changes, which are observed for the (NO2) bands in the spectra of the nitrophenyl-containing conjugated molecules in solutions, persist in the crystalline state.  相似文献

We have used molecular dynamics simulations to study the physical properties of modified TIP3P water model included in the CHARMM program, using four different methods-the Ewald summation technique, and three different spherical truncation methods-for the treatment of the long-range interactions. Both the structure and dynamics of the liquid water model were affected by the methods used to truncate the long-range interactions. For some of the methods artificial structuring of the model liquid was observed around the cutoff radius. The model liquid properties were also affected by the commonly applied temperature control methods. Four different methods for controlling the temperature of the system were studied, and the effects of these methods on the bulk properties for liquid water were analyzed. The system size was also found to change the dynamics of the model liquid water. Two control simulations with the SPC/E water model were carried out. The self-diffusion coefficient (D), the radial distribution function (g(OO)), the distance dependent Kirkwood G-factor [G(k)(r)] and the intermolecular potential energy (E(pot)) were determined from the different trajectories and compared with the experimental data.  相似文献

This study aimed to investigate the beneficial role of Millettia ferruginea extract (MF) in preventing cisplatin (Cisp) induced nephrotoxicity in rats. A total of 55 metabolites were identified using LC-MS analysis. The in vivo results indicated that MF pretreatment for 4 weeks (20 mg/kg b.w.) remarkably attenuated the altered renal biomarkers by decreasing the levels of plasma creatinine, urea, and uric acid when compared to the Cisp-group. The nephroprotective capacity of MF was further strengthened by histopathological observations, where Cisp + MF treated rats showed lower number of inflammatory cells and tubular degenerative changes than the Cisp-group. The harmful effects of cisplatin on renal oxidative stress indicators (MDA, SOD, CAT, and GPx), were restored by the treatment of MF. In addition, the reduction of inflammatory markers (IL-6 and TNF-α), associated with alleviating DNA fragmentation, highlighted the preventive effect of MF in kidney tissue. Additionally, MF components presented lower binding energies when docked into the active site of TNF-α and IL-6. The present findings concluded that M. ferruginea extract exhibited nephroprotective potential, which may be attributed to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Further work is recommended to confirm the current results, explore the involved mechanism of action, and determine the therapeutic doses and time.  相似文献

To understand the cation-pi interaction in aromatic amino acids and peptides, the binding of M(+) (where M(+) = Li(+), Na(+), and K(+)) to phenylalanine (Phe) is studied at the best level of density functional theory reported so far. The different modes of M(+) binding show the same order of binding affinity (Li(+)>Na(+)>K(+)), in the approximate ratio of 2.2:1.5:1.0. The most stable binding mode is one in which the M(+) is stabilized by a tridentate interaction between the cation and the carbonyl oxygen (O[double bond]C), amino nitrogen (--NH(2)), and aromatic pi ring; the absolute Li(+), Na(+), and K(+) affinities are estimated theoretically to be 275, 201, and 141 kJ mol(-1), respectively. Factors affecting the relative stabilities of various M(+)-Phe binding modes and conformers have been identified, with ion-dipole interaction playing an important role. We found that the trend of pi and non-pi cation bonding distances (Na(+)-pi>Na(+)-N>Na(+)-O and K(+)-pi>K(+)-N>K(+)-O) in our theoretical Na(+)/K(+)-Phe structures are in agreement with the reported X-ray crystal structures of model synthetic receptors (sodium and potassium bound lariat ether complexes), even though the average alkali metal cation-pi distance found in the crystal structures is longer. This difference between the solid and the gas-phase structures can be reconciled by taking the higher coordination number of the cations in the lariat ether complexes into account.  相似文献
