2,2-Dimethyl-3-(2-methyl-3-indolyl)cyclopropylacetic acid, its amide and esters, and the corresponding alcohol, viz., the product of ester reduction by LiAlH4, were synthesized. The chemoselectivity of N- and O-alkylation of these compounds was studied. Selective monoalkylation at the nitrogen atom of the heterocycle, O-alkylation to the side chain, or dialkylation at both nucleophilic sites can be carried out under conditions of phase-transfer catalysis. The N-acylation at the indole fragment of nitrile of this acid occurs only under the Vilsmeier—Haak formylation conditions.  相似文献

The compound Ca14MnP11 crystallizes in the Ca14AlSb11 structure type with the tetragonal space group I41/acd (Z=8) and lattice parameters of , c=20.7565(9) at 90 K. The structure consists of MnP49− tetrahedron, P37− trimer, 4 P3− isolated anions and 14 Ca2+ cations. Similar to other compounds of this structure type containing phosphorous, the P37− trimer has a central P atom that is best modeled in the structure as being equally split between two sites. In addition, there is no additional distortion of the manganese-containing tetrahedron compared with the main group analog, Ca14GaP11, suggesting that the Mn oxidation state is Mn2+. Temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility shows that the compound is paramagnetic over the entire temperature range measured (2-300 K). The data can be fit with a modified Curie-Weiss law and provide an effective magnetic moment of 5.80 (2) B.M. with a Weiss constant of −2.13(2) K and . This moment is significantly higher than those measured for any of the Mn-containing analogs and is consistent with Mn2+. This result will be discussed in light of the electron counting scheme for Mn compounds of the Ca14AlSb11 structure-type.  相似文献

It has been proven qualitatively by a number of authors using variable temperature NMR experiments that most metal carbonyl complexes are nonrigid. A quantitative determination of the ligand exchange frequency ve is often achieved by a line shape analysis or by measurement of the transverse relaxation time T2 using the Carr-Purcell method. In the case of a “very fast” exchange, however, both methods prove unsuccessful. It is shown in this study that a simultaneous fit of IR or Raman spectra on the one hand and NMR spectra on the other can make possible the determination of ve for the “very fast” exchange and can also facilitate the determination of ve in “slow” and “medium” exchange cases considerably. The ligand exchange frequency thus found for Fe(CO)5, 1.1 × 1010s?1, is unexpectedly high; comparison with variable temperature measurements on solid Fe(CO)5, yields similar energy barriers. A mechanism of exchange closely related to the “Berry mechanism” is proposed. Finally the consequences of this surprisingly large ligand exchange rate are discussed with respect to IR band assignments for molecular “fragments” M(CO)x (where x=coordination number, and M is a transition metal, typically lanthanoid or actinoid).  相似文献

The complete symmetrization with respect to x, p x,... of the operators associated with dynamical properties can sometimes lead to results different from those obtained by the conventional quantum formalism based on the rule op (A 2)=(op A)2. For example, angular momentum operators M z 2 and M 2 are modified by the additive constants 2/2 and 3 2/2 respectively (M 20 for electron in the ground state of H atom, rotator never at rest, but spectra unchanged); the average quadratic dispersion of energy is different from zero. These results can be interpreted by assuming that the system is never strictly isolated but communicates with the other systems of the universe by means of electromagnetic interactions. Quantum mechanics would give only average values over a sufficiently long time and would exhibit a quasi-ergodic character. Examples supporting this possibility are given, in particular that of arsines for which quantum forecasts correspond to average values over one year.Dedicated to Professor J. Whole cells ofTrigonopsis variabilis were immobilized by entrapment in Ca2+-alginate and used for the production of α-keto acids from the corresponding D-amino acids. The D-amino acid oxidase within the immobilized cells has a broad substrate specificity. Hydrogen peroxide formed in the enzymatic reaction was efficiently hydrolyzed by manganese oxide co-immobilized with the cells. The amino acid oxidase activity was assayed with a new method based on reversed-phase HPLC. Oxygen requirements, bead size, concentration of cells in the beads, flow rate, and other factors were investigated in a “ trickle-bed ” reactor.  相似文献

Pentacarbonylpyrazinetungsten(0), (CO)5W(pyz), is not stable in solution in polar solvents such as acetone or dichloromethane and undergoes conversion to a bimetallic complex, (CO)5W(pyz)W(CO)5 plus free pyrazine. These three species exist at equilibrium. Using the quantitative 1H NMR spectroscopy, the equilibrium constant could be determined to be Keq = (5.9 ± 0.8) × 10−2 at 25 °C. Introducing a second pyrazine ligand into the molecule does not stabilize the complex, as cis-W(CO)4(pyz)2 was found to be less stable than W(CO)5(pyz) and, therefore, could not be isolated. However, introducing trimethylphosphite as a donor ligand into the complex leads to the stabilization of the carbonyl-pyrazine-metal(0) complexes, as shown by the synthesis of cis-W(CO)4[P(OCH3)3](pyz). This complex could be isolated from the reaction of the photogenerated W(CO)4[P(OCH3)3](tetrahydrofuran) with trimethylphosphite upon mixing for 2 h at 10 °C in tetrahydrofuran and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS, 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

A high-powered, microwave-induced nitrogen–oxygen plasma (N2–O2–MIP) generated by using an Okamoto cavity at atmospheric pressure was investigated when the observation height, the flow rate of carrier gas, and the oxygen content were varied as the experimental parameters. The emission characteristics of the plasma were evaluated with regard to the excitation temperature and the intensity ratio of atomic line to ionic line. The excitation temperature of the N2–O2–MIP was in the range of 5100–5700 K when the oxygen content was varied from 0 to 30% at the observation height of 7 mm and the carrier gas flow rate of 0.6 l/min. The intensity ratio of atomic line to ionic line was elevated with an increase in the oxygen content.  相似文献
