Three model drugs with different function groups were chosen to dialyze with dextran-graft-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide).Only ibuprofen could induce the formation of drug loaded micelles,which was confirmed with dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscope.Hydrogen-bonding between the amide groups of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) and the carboxyl groups of ibuprofen was driving force for the drug-loaded micelle.It was also found that the diameter of the ibuprofen-loaded micelles changed reversibly against temperature. 相似文献

Dilute aqueous solutions of dodecyl-benzenesulfonic acid sodium salt (DBS-Na) and polyoxyethylenenonylphenyl ethers (PONPEs) were ultrasonically atomized. The surfactants were concentrated in collected mist droplets. The enrichment ratio increased with decreasing surfactant concentration. Depending on the surfactant’s molecular weight and affinity to water, different enrichment ratio was observed in the range of low feed concentrations. For anionic surfactant, DBS-Na, the enrichment ratio was significantly improved by KCl addition and a peak appeared on the plot of the ratio against KCl concentration. Addition of NaCl or CaCl2 · 2H2O to the surfactant solution also enhanced the enrichment ratio; however, the effect was relatively small. Such behaviors of the ratio were interpreted as enhanced interfacial adsorption of the surfactant and a lack of supply of surfactant monomers from liquid bulk because of slow breaking of surfactant micelles. Time required for collecting an amount of mist was also observed. Among the three salt systems, the time for KCl system was twice as long as others. This fact suggested that the formation of smaller droplets in KCl system. 相似文献

The conditions of sensitization of the luminescence of Eu(III) by Tb(III) ions in complexes with inorganic (Na2WO4) and organic (nalidixic acid) ligands in sorbates on solid matrices (zeolite CaX and crystalline zirconium phosphate (ZrP)) and in coprecipitation with CaWO4 have been investigated. It has been established that the maximum sensitization of the europium luminescence is attained in the case where Eu and Tb are present in a 1:0.5 ratio. In this case, the integral intensity of luminescence of Eu(III) (the band with max = 612 nm) in the sorbate of its complex with nalidixic acid on ZrP accounts for more than 60% of the luminescence intensity of the industrial photoluminophor Y2O3:Eu (FL-612) possessing red luminescence, and the intensity of Tb(III) luminescence (the band with max = 545 nm) accounts for about 40% of the luminescence intensity of the photoluminophor Gd2O2S:Tb possessing green luminescence. 相似文献

The swelling behavior of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) gels in aqueous solutions of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) with and without
NaCl was investigated. In the absence of NaCl, PEO gels with different degrees of cross-linking began to swell from a concentration
lower than the critical micelle concentration (cmc) of SDS, then showed sigmoidal enhancements of swelling in a higher SDS
concentration region until the degrees of swelling reached maximum values. The SDS concentration at which the swelling began
to appear was in reasonable agreement with the critical aggregation concentration (cac) value reported for the aqueous PEO
system. For the cases where NaCl was present, the swelling behavior of PEO gel was different from that when NaCl was absent
in the following way. The concentrations where the swelling begins to appear, and hence those where the degree of swelling
rises steeply, decreased with an increase in NaCl concentration. The ultimate degrees of swelling at higher concentration
regions also decreased with an increase in the NaCl concentration. The lowering of the SDS concentrations at which the PEO
gel began to swell is in line with the decreases in the cmc of SDS solutions containing NaCl and also with the decreases in
the cac of PEO solution.

The actual dimensions of micelles obtained from AFM measurements were used in modelling and allowed to predict the shape of the micelle. We report DFT studies on some perylene‐based dyes for their electron transfer properties in solar cell applications. The study involves modeling of different donor‐π‐acceptor type sensitizers, with perylene as the donor, furan/pyrrole/thiophene as the π‐bridge and cyanoacrylic group as the acceptor. The effect of different π‐bridges and various substituents on the perylene donor was evaluated in terms of opto‐electronic and photovoltaic parameters such as HOMO‐LUMO energy gap, λmax, light harvesting efficiency(LHE), electron injection efficiency (Øinject), excited state dye potential (Edye*), reorganization energy(λ), and free energy of dye regeneration (). The effect of various substituents on the dye–I2 interaction and hence recombination process was also evaluated. We found that the furan‐based dimethylamine derivative exhibits a better balance of the various optical and photovoltaic properties. Finally, we evaluated the overall opto‐electronic and transport parameters of the TiO2‐dye assembly after anchoring the dyes on the model TiO2 cluster assembly. 相似文献
