Deacetalisation-bicyclisation routes to novel polycyclic heterocycles using stannous chloride dihydrate

The stannous chloride dihydrate-mediated deprotection-bicyclisation of a range of amides possessing a pendant acetal group is reported. These mild reaction conditions have been used to prepare a number of ring-fused heterocyclic compounds, some in enantiomerically pure form, which should be of interest both in their own right and as building blocks for the production of more complex target molecules.     

Effects of tributyltin(IV) chloride on the gametes and fertilization of Ascidia malaca (Ascidiacea: Tunicata)

Ascidia malaca gametes before fertilization incubated in 10^?5 or 10^?7 M solutions of tributyltin(IV) chloride, TBTCl, for 3 h appear highly damaged under transmission electron microscopy observation. Also, the fertilization process is affected by the compound: the damaged spermatozoa are present in the vitelline coat and the egg does not cleave. An increase of microbodies, structurally similar to peroxisomes, have been detected in the egg peripheral cytoplasm, probably in relation to their role in alleviating damage to some cellular components. The results have shown that the reproduction of ascidians under unfavourable environmental conditions is prevented. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Fourier transform spectroscopy of CH3OH: rotation-torsion-vibration structure for the CH3-rocking and OH-bending modes

High-resolution Fourier transform spectra of CH₃OH have been investigated in the infrared region from 930 to 1450 cm⁻¹ in order to map the torsion-rotation energy manifolds associated with the ν₇ in-plane CH₃ rock, the ν₁₁ out-of-plane CH₃ rock, and the ν₆ OH bend. Upper-state term values have been determined from the assigned spectral subbands, and have been fitted to power-series expansions to obtain substate origins and effective B-values for the three modes. The substate origins have been grouped into related families according to systematic trends observed in the torsion-vibration energy map, but there are substantial differences from the traditional torsional patterns. There appears to be significant torsion-mediated spectral mixing, and a variety of “forbidden” torsional combination subbands with |Δυ_t|>1 have been observed, where υ_t denotes the torsional quantum number (equivalent to υ₁₂). For example, coupling of the (υ₆,υ_t)=(1,0) OH bend to nearby torsionally excited (υ₇,υ_t)=(1,1) CH₃-rock and (υ₈,υ_t)=(1,1) CO-stretch states introduces (υ₆,υ_t)=(1,0)←(0,1) subbands into the spectrum and makes the ν₇+ν₁₂−ν₁₂ torsional hot band stronger than the ν₇ fundamental. The results suggest a picture of strong coupling among the OH-bending, CH₃-rocking, and CO-stretching modes that significantly modifies the traditional energy structure and raises interesting and provocative questions about the torsion-vibration identity of a number of the observed states.     

氯柱硼镁石在氯化镁水溶液中相转化平衡液相的红外光谱分析

采用差示FTIR光谱技术,研究了氯柱硼镁石在30℃下浓度为0.5,12和18％MgCl_2水溶液中溶解及相转化平衡饱和水溶液中硼氧配阴离子的FTIR光谱。给出了溶液中硼氧配阴离子的FTIR光谱振动频率的归属,515cm~(-1)为单和二硼氧配阴离子特征峰,630cm~(-1)为三硼氧配阴离子特征峰,550cm~(-1)为四硼氧配阴离子特征峰。对饱和水溶液中硼氧配阴离子的存在形式及其相互作用以及与相转化析出固相的关系进行了讨论。     

吡罗红为底物的辣根过氧化物酶催化荧光反应测定葡萄糖

吡罗红在辣根过氧化物酶催化下可被过氧化氢氧化而使其荧光猝灭。在pH 7.2中性介质中,稳态催化速率由酶和底物浓度决定,催化体系服从Michaelis-Menten方程,用Lineweaver-Burk作图法求得米氏常数、最大反应速度、催化常数分别为2.4×10~(-5)mol·L-1,2.5×10~(-6)mol·L-1s-1,75.8 s-1。在最佳反应条件下,荧光F0/F的猝灭程度与过氧化氢浓度在0-3.6×10~(-7)mol·L-1范围内成线性关系,检测限为6.3×10~(-9)mol·L-1;当与葡萄糖氧化酶联用时,可定量检测葡萄糖,线性关系为0-8.0×10~(-7)mol·L-1,检测限为3.4×10~(-8)mol·L-1。方法用于分析人血清中葡萄糖含量,分析结果与苯酚-4-氨基安替比林法基本一致。

硫酰胺的快速分析（Ⅱ） 

硫酰胺生产过程中副产的大量氯化铵要干扰硫酰胺的测定，采用四苯硼钠将全部氯化铵呈沉淀析出，再用次溴酸钠把滤液中的硫酰胺分解成氮气，测其体积，计算出硫酰胺的含量。对样品进行测定的结果表明，该法重现性好、准确度高、分析周期在３５ｍｉｎ内，相对误差在±１％以内。
