The effect of texture of iron foil substrate on the growth of hematite nanowires by annealing method has been investigated in detail. Three substrates of different textures were prepared from a [2 0 0] oriented iron foil by some simple processes. The hematite nanowires on these substrates were synthesized by annealing iron foil at 700 °C in moist oxygen. The growth pattern of nanowires on these substrates showed that the growth of hematite nanowires depends strongly on the iron substrate texture and [1 1 0] oriented iron grains are necessary for their growth. The samples were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Electron Back Scatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Raman Spectroscopy. We have also tried to explain the various observations on the mechanism of growth. Mainly, the presence of water vapor significantly enhanced the formation of hematite nanowires which resulted in a very dense and aligned growth of nanowires on the substrate areas of favorable texture. Finally, the study proved the substrate texture to be a powerful tool to control growth of nanowires and can be used efficiently for patterning and large scale synthesis of the nanowires. 相似文献

A quantum mechanical photodesorption model, valid for metallic substrates and sub-picosecond laser pulses, is presented. It takes into consideration the photodesorption coordinate and models the metal hot-electron mediated desorption by a three electronic states: an ionic state of the adsorbate and two effective states representing the continuum of the metal. This multiple-state picture allows the sharing of the flow of energy injected by the laser between the adsorbate and the substrate. For the first time, the present modeling introduces the hot electrons of the metal through an optical potential based on the kinetic model developed earlier by the authors. This potential, and the resulting desorption yield, depend on the laser fluence. For CO on Cu(1 0 0) or Cu(1 1 1), the results are in fair agreement with the experimental findings. 相似文献

RE2Fe14B (RE=rare earth) materials are capable of absorbing hydrogen to form a stable solid solution at room temperature. Hydrogenation produces a number of significant changes in the hyperfine interactions. In this work, 57Fe Mössbauer effect spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements were performed on Nd14.01Hf0.08Fe78.91B7.00 alloys submitted to thermal treatment in hydrogen atmosphere. A non-linear increase of the hyperfine fields and isomer shifts with hydrogen concentration was observed. The hyperfine parameters of the 8j1 site exhibit a rather different evolution than those experienced by the other major sites (8j2, 16k1, 16k2). The origin of the hyperfine field enhancement is analyzed in terms of volume expansion and H nearest neighbors to the Fe sites. A linear expression on these two effects to give account of isomer shift evolution for 8j1 site is given. 相似文献

High-power ultrasonic horns operating at low frequency are known to generate a cone-shaped cavitation bubble cloud beneath them. The exact physical processes resulting in the conical structure are still unclear mainly due to challenges associated with their visualization. Herein, we address the onset of the cavitation cloud by exploiting high-speed X-ray phase contrast imaging. It reveals that the cone formation is not immediate but results from a three-step phenomenology: (i) inception and oscillation of single bubbles, (ii) individual cloud formation under splitting or lens effects, and (iii) cloud merging leading to the formation of a bubble layer and, eventually, to the cone structure due to the radial pressure gradient on the horn tip. 相似文献

In the quasi-ternary CPCl/brine/hexanol lyotropic system, the interface of the lamellar and L3 sponge phases displays a phenomenon of epitaxy: the layers of the lamellar phase tend to make a constant non-trivial angle
with the interface. Thin samples of lamellar phase embedded in the sponge phase are thus submitted to oblique anchoring conditions
and defects are created in the lamellar phase in order to satisfy the bulk lamellar ordering and the boundary conditions.
We have studied small droplets of lamellar phase in the sponge phase. They do not exhibit the classic defects (focal conic domains) but wall defects, which appear in order to satisfy the smectic elasticity and the boundary
conditions. Moreover we show through experiments in controlled geometry that, even in the presence of focal conic domains,
wall defects control the size and periodicity of the textures which are observed at the interface.

已知两位置交换分子运动速率对于静态13CNMR谱的影响是由一简单代数关系决定,它已成为分析固体中分子运动的常规方法.慢速的魔角旋转可以保留边带,所产生的边带型原则上也可用来分析分子运动,只是缺乏象静态谱那样的简单的关系,以至于在实际应用上是不可行的.本文给出作者所发现的存在分子运动时魔角旋转核磁共振自由诱导衰减信号的解析表达式的理论推导,提供分析固体分子运动的理论谱计算公式.我们选择二甲矾(dimethylsulfone)作为模型化合物,记录其不同温度下13CNMR谱,又计算了两个甲基做两位置交换运动的理论谱.理论谱与实验谱定性一致.定量上,边带强度存在一些差别,但边带宽度符合很好.通过理论谱与实验谱的比较,得到交换速率与温度的对应关系.虽然本文限于化学位移各向异性相互作用两位置交换问题,但容易推广到偶极作用多位置交换问题. 相似文献
