We measured the transport properties of MgB2 films having columnar grain structure with their axis normal to the substrate. When an external magnetic field was applied parallel to the grain axis, an enhanced critical current density has been observed, and this result has been ascribed to flux pinning induced by grain boundaries. The shape of the angular dependence of critical current density and its magnetic field dependence showed a quite similar resemblance to those of YBa2Cu3Ox films containing columnar defects, implying a possible existence of linear defects in MgB2 films of columnar structure. We propose that the amorphous regions at the vertex points of three or more grain boundaries observed in microstructural studies correspond to the linear defects and these linear defects anchor the end points of the flux line dislocations of Frank-Read sources, by which the shear in the flux line lattice is actuated. This assumed mechanism is found to reasonably explain the magnetic field dependence of the flux pinning force density of MgB2 films with columnar grain structure.  相似文献

We discuss a recent proposal to construct de Sitter vacua in string theory. It is based on flux compactifications in string theory where all the moduli are stabilised and supersymmetry is broken with control. A suitable derivative of Einstein's equations in the framework of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (TEGR) yields a continuity equation for the gravitational energy‐momentum. In particular, the time derivative of the total gravitational energy is given by the sum of the total fluxes of gravitational and matter fields energy. We carry out a detailed analysis of the continuity equation in the context of Bondi and Vaidya's metrics. In the former space‐time the flux of gravitational energy is given by the well known expression in terms of the square of the news function. It is known that the energy definition in the realm of the TEGR yields the ADM (Arnowitt‐Deser‐Misner) energy for appropriate boundary conditions. Here we show that the same energy definition also describes the Bondi energy. The analysis of the continuity equation in Vaidya's space‐time shows that the variation of the total gravitational energy is determined by the energy flux of matter only.  相似文献

We report complex impedance measurements in an untwinned YBaCuO crystal. Our broad frequency range covers both the quasi static response and the resistive response of the vortex lattice. It allow us to characterize the irreversibility line without the need of any frequency dependent pinning parameters. We confirm the validity of the two modes model of vortex dynamic, and extract both the surface critical current and the flux flow resistivity around the first order transition Tm. This latter is identified by the abrupt loss of pinning and by an unexpected step of (T) at Tm. Cosmic rays up to at least 1015 eV (PeV) are believed to be emitted by Galactic sources, such as supernova remnants. However, no conclusive evidence of their acceleration has been found yet. A trace of ongoing cosmic-ray acceleration is the gamma-ray emission produced by these highly energetic particles when they scatter off the interstellar medium gas, mainly atomic and molecular hydrogen. Whereas the atomic hydrogen is uniformly distributed in the Galaxy, the molecular hydrogen is usually aggregated in dense clouds, and the gamma-ray emission from such clouds is particularly intense and localised. A multi-frequency approach, which combines the data from the upcoming and future gamma-ray emissions with the data from the submillimeter and millimeter surveys of the molecular hydrogen, is therefore crucial to probe the Galactic cosmic-ray flux. In order to fully exploit this multi-frequency approach, one needs to develop predictions of the expected emission. Here we will discuss the GeV to TeV emission from runaway CRs penetrating molecular clouds close to the young supernova remnant RX J1713-3946 and in molecular clouds illuminated by the background cosmic-ray flux.  相似文献

在此之前已经报道了二维斜面颗粒流在通道中的分布规律以及二维斜面粗糙边界附近的颗粒 流量密度(ξ=ρ·ν)分布.本文则主要研究通道宽度W对边界附近颗粒流量密度(ξ=ρ· ν)分布的影响.结果表明,颗粒流量密度随通道宽度的变化(ξ W)存在一临界通道宽度W c.在本实验条件下临界通道宽度Wc=70d.当通道宽度小于临界宽度Wc时 ,通道中距边界20d—30d区间内的相对颗粒流量密度随斜面倾斜角的变化可描述为ξ∝( sinθ)α,α是与通道宽度W有关的参数,其数值在032至085之间. 关键词: 二维颗粒流 颗粒物质 颗粒流量密度  相似文献
