Abstract

A collisionless plasma is modeled by the Vlasov-Poisson system in three space dimensions. A fixed background of positive charge, which is independent of time and space, is assumed. The situation in which mobile negative ions balance the positive charge as |x|→∞ is considered. Hence the total positive charge and the total negative charge are infinite. Smooth solutions with appropriate asymptotic behavior are shown to exist locally in time. Conditions for continuation of these solutions are also established.  相似文献

We consider the problem of optimal multi-modes switching in finite horizon, when the state of the system, including the switching cost functions are arbitrary (gij(t,x)≥0gij(t,x)0). We show existence of the optimal strategy, via a verification theorem. Finally, when the state of the system is a Markov process, we show that the vector of value functions of the optimal problem is the unique viscosity solution to the system of mm variational partial differential inequalities with inter-connected obstacles.  相似文献

The experimental results concerning continuous mass crystallization process in L(+)‐ascorbic acid – water system are presented and discussed. Influence of L(+)‐ascorbic acid concentration in a feeding solution and mean residence time of suspension in laboratory DT MSMPR crystallizer on product crystal size distribution as well as nucleation and growth kinetics were determined. Kinetic parameter values were evaluated on the basis of size–independent growth (SIG) kinetic model (McCabe's ΔL law). It was observed, that within the examined range of crystallizer productivity (120–1600 kg LAA crystals m–3h–1) crystal product population of mean size Lm from 0.2 to 0.3 mm and CV from 66.6 to 49% is withdrawn. Linear growth rate values present decreasing trend (from ca. 7 · 10–8 to ca. 6 · 10–8 m s–1) with the productivity increase (assuming constant mean residence time of suspension τ = 900 s). Occurrence of secondary nucleation within the circulated and mixed suspension, resulting from crystal attrition and breakage, was observed. Antibiotic-resistant food-borne Listeriosis has been rising with up to 30% mortality threat in humans since several decades. Hence, discovering antilisterial from the extracts of ethnomedicinal plants may be of value as a novel antidote. In our preceding study, we reported that ethanolic extract of Piper betle L. var Pachaikodi leaves exhibited antibacterial activity towards Listeria monocytogenes MTCC 657. Consequently in the present study, the bioactive molecule responsible for anti-Listeria activity was purified and identified as 4-allylbenzene-1,2-diol. This identified bioactive compound may have significance while used as antimicrobials and/or food additives in food processing sector as evidenced by dual action: biofilm inhibition and pore formation on cell membrane.  相似文献

Acetone extract of faba bean (Vicia faba L.) was found to be highest total phenol and flavonoid content among all extracts. Antioxidant activity for inhibition percentage (free radical scavenging activity) had 86.47% for acetone extract, and 97.36% for ascorbic acid respectively. IC50 value of ascorbic acid and acetone extact were found to be 9 μg/mL ± 0.20 and 30 μg/mL ± 0.21. Faba bean seeds had catechin, epicatechin, gallic acid and ellagic acid which on molecular docking study revealed that it binds effectively with xanthine oxidase by binding energy of –7.78, –6.11, –6.39, –5.78 kcal/mol respectively compared to allopurinol drug having binding energy of –4.94 kcal/mol. Gallic acid, ellagic acid, catechin, epicatechin (polyphenols) and allopurinol bind other than catalytic residues (Glu-1261) of xanthine oxidase. In vitro and in silico analysis recommended that mode of enzyme inhibition was mixed type.  相似文献

Novel food, super food, wolfberry, the Himalayan longevity fruit. Several different and, even more, colourful names define the fruits of Lycium barbarum L., one of the most popular food supplements and anti-aging remedies of the recent years. Goji derivatives find application at the interface between food and medicine thanks to the claimed antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties. Aiming at identifying the most effective extraction protocol for processing different goji berries samples (fresh and dried, commercial and from an Italian cultivar), combinations of extractive and analytical techniques were attempted. The concentration of bioactive compounds and of total phenols were measured and the antioxidant activity of the obtained extracts was studied. The results highlight the most suitable combination of source and process to obtain an extract that can be suitable for nutraceutical applications.  相似文献

Nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs reportedly reduce the risk of developing cancer. One mechanism by which they reduce carcinogenesis involves the inhibition of the activity of cyclooxygenase‐2, an enzyme that is overexpressed in various cancer tissues. Its overexpression increases cell proliferation and inhibits apoptosis. However, selected cyclooxygenase‐2 inhibitors can also act through cyclooxygenase‐independent mechanisms. In this study, using ultrafiltration, enzyme‐immobilized magnetic beads, high‐performance liquid chromatography, and electrospray‐ionization mass spectrometry, several isoflavonoids in Trifolium pratense L. extracts were screened and identified. Semi‐preparative high‐performance liquid chromatography and high‐speed counter‐current chromatography were then applied to separate the active constituents. Using these methods, seven major compounds were identified in Trifolium pratense L. As cyclooxygenase‐2 inhibitors: rothindin, ononin, daidzein, trifoside, pseudobaptigenin, formononetin, and biochanin A, which were then isolated with >92% purity. This is the first report of the presence of potent cyclooxygenase‐2 inhibitors in Trifolium pratense L. extracts. The results of this study demonstrate that the systematic isolation of bioactive components from Trifolium pratense L., by using ultrafiltration, enzyme‐immobilized magnetic beads, semi‐preparative high‐performance liquid chromatography, and high‐speed counter‐current chromatography, represents a feasible and efficient technique that could be extended for the identification and isolation of other enzyme inhibitors.  相似文献
