The fabrications of size-tunable periodic arrays of nickel metal and silicide nanodots on (0 0 1)Si substrates using polystyrene (PS) nanosphere lithography (NSL) and heat treatments have been investigated. The growth of epitaxial NiSi2 was found to be more favorable for the Ni metal nanodot arrays. The effect becomes more pronounced with a decrease in the size of the Ni nanodots. The sizes of the epitaxial NiSi2 nanodots were tuned from 38 to 110 nm by varying the diameter of the PS spheres and heat treatment conditions. These epitaxial NiSi2 nanodots formed on (0 0 1)Si were found to be heavily faceted and the faceted structures were more prone to form at higher temperatures. Based on TEM, HRTEM and SAED analysis, the faceted NiSi2 nanodots were identified to be inverse pyramids in shape. Compared with the NiSi2 nanodot arrays formed using single-layer PS sphere masks, the epitaxial NiSi2 nanodot arrays formed from the double-layer PS sphere templates exhibit larger interparticle spacings and smaller particle sizes. Since the nanoparticle sizes, shapes and interparticle spacings can be adjusted by tuning the diameter of the PS spheres, stacking conditions, and heat treatment conditions, the PS NSL technique promises to be an effective patterning method for growth of other nanostructures.  相似文献

With anatase-type titanium dioxide as the raw materials, the futile type titanium dioxide single crystal is prepared using the floating zone method. The results of XRD measurement show that the grown crystal is highly crystalline with a futile structure, which has orientation to the c-axis. The four Raman vibration characteristic peaks (143, 240, 450 and 610 cm^-1) at room temperature show that the crystalline structure of the single crystal is a typical futile phase, meanwhile a new Raman peak at around 690 cm^-1 is found. The results of the Raman measurement at various temperatures for the single crystal show that the Raman frequency shifts are different.  相似文献

The refractive indices of tetragonal (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-xPT) single crystals were measured with a prism coupler and their linear electro-optic (EO) properties were investigated from 20 to 80 °C by the automated scanning Sénarmont system with an ac field. The composition and temperature effect on the EO coefficients were also discussed. It has been found that their EO coefficients are much larger than that of widely used LiNbO3 single crystal and the calculated half-wave voltages are also much lower, which enable the operation at lower voltages and the smaller device dimensions. Since the excellent EO properties are very stable and such high quality single crystals with large-size have been obtained, the PMN-xPT single crystals are a very promising candidate for EO modulation applications. By linking to the polarization-related quadratic EO coefficients, we find that the linear EO properties are related with the spontaneous polarization and dielectric constants.  相似文献

Nitrogen and boron BF2, and nitrogen, carbon, and boron BF2 high-dose (6×1016–3×1017 cm-2) co-implantation were performed at energies of about 21–77 keV. Subsequent high-temperature annealing processes (600, 850, and 1200 °C) lead to the formation of three and two surface layers respectively. The outer layer mainly consists of polycrystalline silicon and some amorphous material and Si3N4 inclusions. The inner layer is highly defective crystalline silicon, with some inclusions of Si3N4 too. In the N+B-implanted sample the intermediate layer is amorphous. Co-implantation of boron with nitrogen and with nitrogen and carbon prevents the excessive diffusivity of B and leads to a lattice-parameter reduction of 0.7–1.0%. X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectroscopy were applied as complementary methods to investigate the structure and hyperfine interactions in the series of Bim+1Ti3Fem−3O3m+3 Aurivillius compounds with m=4, 6, 7 and 8. Samples were synthesized by the solid-state sintering method at various temperatures. As X-ray diffraction analysis proved, the compounds formed single phases at temperature above 993 K. Mössbauer studies have confirmed diffraction measurements. Compounds synthesized at 993 K contained residual hematite, however these sintered at elevated temperatures were single-phased materials. Room-temperature Mössbauer spectra of Bim+1Ti3Fem−3O3m+3 compounds revealed their paramagnetic properties, what is consistent with the literature data concerning the Néel temperature of these ceramics (TN is smaller than room temperature). Detailed analysis of MS spectra allowed to state that iron ions may occupy both tetrahedral and octahedral sites in the crystallographic lattice of Aurivillius compounds.  相似文献

Angular distribution of the 12C(6He,7Li)11B transfer reaction is measured with a secondary 6He beam of 36.4MeV for the first time. The experimental angular distribution is well reproduced by the distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) calculation. The success of the present experiment shows that it is feasible to measure one-nucleon transfer reaction on a light nucleus target with the secondary beam facility of the HI-13 tandem accelerator at China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), Beijing.  相似文献

As a tool for studying the structure of nuclei far off stability the technique of γ-ray spectroscopy after low-energy single-nucleon transfer reactions with radioactive nuclear beams in inverse kinematics was investigated. Modules of the MINIBALL germanium array and a thin position-sensitive parallel plate avalanche counter (PPAC) to be employed in future experiments at REX-ISOLDE were used in a test experiment performed with a stable 36S beam on deuteron and 9Be targets. It is demonstrated that the Doppler broadening of γ lines detected by the MINIBALL modules is considerably reduced by exploiting their segmentation, and that for beam intensities up to 106 particles/s the PPAC positioned around zero degrees with respect to the beam axis allows not only to significantly reduce the γ background by requiring coincidences with the transfer products but also to control the beam and its intensity by single particle counting. The predicted large neutron pickup cross-sections of neutron-rich light nuclei on 2H and 9Be targets at REX-ISOLDE energies of 2.2 MeV . A are confirmed. The ^8Li(p, d)^7 Li reaction plays an important role in the inhomogeneous Big Bang nucleosynthesis and in the seed-nuclide production phase for the r-process. For the first time, its angular distribution at backward angles was measured in inverse kinematics at Ec.m.=4.0 MeV by using an ^8Li secondary beam. The result of measurement includes the contributions of ^8Li(p, d0)^7Li and ^8Li(p, d1)^7Li^*. The ^8Li(p, d0)^7Li component is estimated to be 40%-58% in the mixture angular distribution by analysing the measured result.  相似文献

The plasma produced by the ablation of a high purity Al2O3 target, using the fundamental line (1064 nm) of a Nd:YAG laser, was characterized. The laser fluence was varied in order to study its effect on the characteristics of the produced plasma as well as on the properties of the material deposited. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) was used to determine the type of excited species present in the plasma. The mean kinetic energy of the ions and the maximum plasma density were determined from the time of flight (TOF) curves, obtained with a planar Langmuir probe. The obtained results reveal that the fast peak in the probe curve could be attributed to Al III, while the slow peak corresponds to the Al II. Aluminum oxide thin films were then deposited under the same conditions of the diagnosed plasma, in an attempt to correlate the plasma parameters with the properties of the deposited material. It was found that when Al II ion energies are lower than 461.0 eV the films deposited have structural characteristics similar to that of α-Al2O3, whereas at ion energies greater than 461.0 eV amorphous material was obtained.  相似文献

TiO2 film of around 850 nm in thickness was deposited on a soda-lime glass by PVD sputtering and irradiated using one pulse of krypton-fluorine (KrF) excimer laser (wavelength of 248 nm and pulse duration of 25 ns) with varying fluence. The color of the irradiated area became darker with increasing laser fluence. Irradiated surfaces were characterized using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. Surface undergoes thermal annealing at low laser fluence of 400 and 590 mJ/cm2. Microcracks at medium laser fluence of 1000 mJ/cm2 are attributed to surface melting and solidification. Hydrodynamic ablation is proposed to explain the formation of micropores and networks at higher laser fluence of 1100 and 1200 mJ/cm2. The darkening effect is explained in terms of trapping of light in the surface defects formed rather than anatase to rutile phase transformation as reported by others. Controlled darkening of TiO2 film might be used for adjustable filters.  相似文献
