On social percolation and small world network   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The social percolation model is generalized to include the propagation of two mutually exclusive competing effects on a one-dimensional ring and a two-dimensional square lattice. It is shown that the result depends significantly on which effect propagates first i.e. it is a non-commutative phenomenon. Then the propagation of one effect is studied on a small network. It generalizes the work of Moore and Newman of a disease spread to the case where the susceptibility of the population is random. Three variants of the Domany-Kinzel model are given. In this paper we analyze the equilibrium phase diagram of the two-dimensional ferromagnetic n.n. Ising model when the external field takes alternating signs on different rows. We show that some of the zero-temperature coexistence lines disappear at every positive sufficiently small temperature, whereas one (and only one) of them persists for sufficiently low temperature.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the phase transition property of an Ising model defined on a special random graph—the stochastic block model (SBM). Based on the Ising model, we propose a stochastic estimator to achieve the exact recovery for the SBM. The stochastic algorithm can be transformed into an optimization problem, which includes the special case of maximum likelihood and maximum modularity. Additionally, we give an unbiased convergent estimator for the model parameters of the SBM, which can be computed in constant time. Finally, we use metropolis sampling to realize the stochastic estimator and verify the phase transition phenomenon thfough experiments.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a model-independent method to extract the resonance parameters on the lattice directly from the Euclidean 2-point correlation functions of the field operators at finite times. The method is tested in case of the two-point function of the Δ-resonance, calculated at one loop in Small Scale Expansion. Further, the method is applied to a 1+11+1-dimensional model with two coupled Ising spins and the results are compared with earlier ones obtained by using Lüscher's approach.  相似文献

New computational solutions are required to understand how atomic-scale properties affect magnetic behaviour at micrometer dimensions. We describe a field-programmable-gate-array (FPGA) based simulation of a dilute antiferromagnet with a large number of Ising spins using Glauber dynamics. The simple atomic model qualitatively reproduces experimental findings when scaled up to sufficiently large spatial dimensions, and provides insight into the finite size thresholds separating nanoscale from microscale behaviour. A real-time visualisation module was used to study the dynamics of the fractal domain structure and non-exponential relaxation mechanism. A performance comparison with contemporary GPU and CPU implementations suggests that a FPGA route is a competitive alternative.  相似文献

Progress in the area of the Ising model roughening transition has previously been limited by the lack of a good definition for the interface separating the pure phases. In this paper we study the critical behavior of the two-dimensional antiferromagnetic Ising model in both uniform longitudinal (HH) and transverse (ΩΩ) magnetic fields. Using the effective-field theory (EFT) with correlation in single site clusters we calculate the phase diagrams in the H−THT and Ω−TΩT planes for the square lattice. We have only found second order phase transitions for all values of fields and reentrant behavior was not observed.  相似文献

We use a method developed by van Hemmen to obtain the free energy of the mean-field Ising model in a random external magnetic field. Some results of previous mean-field calculations are confirmed and generalized. The tricritical point in the global phase diagram is discussed in detail. We also consider different probability distributions of the random fields and provide some proofs regarding the conditions for the existence of a tricritical point.  相似文献
