The acid composition of seed oil ofAmaranthus cruentus and the synthesis of their glycidyl and pyridinecontaining esters are studied. It is demonstrated that 67% of the total acids are C18-polyunsaturated linoleic and linolenic. A new method for preparing glycidyl esters of C18-unsaturated carboxylic acids is developed by reacting their salts with ECG in an aprotic medium to produce the corresponding glycidyl esters. The reaction of the glycidyl esters and pyridine salts with carboxylic and phosphonic acids produces the propanolpyridine esters of the acids that combine the properties of the acids and pyridinium salts and are promising in the search for biologically active compounds.A. Sumamry Soybean, rape and sunflower lipids have been extracted with a focused microwave-assisted Saxhlet extractor. The main factors affecting extraction efficiency, namely microwave irradiation power, number of cycles and microwave irradiation time were optimised by means of a power, number of cycles and microwave irradiation time were optimised by means of a central composite design based on a two-level-three-factor factorial design. A study of the influence of particle size on the extraction procedure was also performed. The results obtained were compared with those obtained by use of an ISO method using a conventional Soxhlet extractor. Quantitative results for lipid content based on gravimetric determinations and qualitative results based on analysis of fatty acid methyl esters and polymeric compounds were similar to those obtained by Soxhlet extraction with hexane. Substantial reduction of sample manipulation. analysis time and solvent wastage is achieved by use of the proposed method.  相似文献

Four new benzoylamide derivatives, lepidiumamide B–E (1–4), were isolated from the seeds of Lepidium apetalum Willd. The structures were determined by a combination of MS and NMR analyses. All compounds were evaluated for their protective effects against NRK-52e cell injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in vitro. These compounds showed significantly protective activity and ameliorated LPS-induced NRK52e cells via the Nrf2/Keap1 pathway. The discovery of these active compounds is important for the prevention and treatment of renalinjury.  相似文献

Oxidative stress is the key factor that strengthens free radical generation which stimulates lung inflammation. The aim was to explore antioxidant, bronchodilatory along with anti-asthmatic potential of folkloric plants and the aqueous methanolic crude extract of Ipomoea nil (In.Cr) seeds which may demonstrate as more potent, economically affordable, having an improved antioxidant profile and providing evidence as exclusive therapeutic agents in respiratory pharmacology. In vitro antioxidant temperament was executed by DPPH, TFC, TPC and HPLC in addition to enzyme inhibition (cholinesterase) analysis; a bronchodilator assay on rabbit’s trachea as well as in vivo OVA-induced allergic asthmatic activity was performed on mice. In vitro analysis of 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH) expressed as % inhibition 86.28 ± 0.25 with IC50 17.22 ± 0.56 mol/L, TPC 115.5 ± 1.02 mg GAE/g of dry sample, TFC 50.44 ± 1.06 mg QE/g dry weight of sample, inhibition in cholinesterase levels for acetyl and butyryl with IC50 (0.60 ± 0.67 and 1.5 ± 0.04 mol/L) in comparison with standard 0.06 ± 0.002 and 0.30 ± 0.003, respectively, while HPLC characterization of In.Cr confirmed the existence with identification as well as quantification of various polyphenolics and flavonoids i.e., gallic acid, vanillic acid, chlorogenic acid, quercetin, kaempferol and others. However, oral gavage of In.Cr at different doses in rabbits showed a better brochodilation profile as compared to carbachol and K+-induced bronchospasm. More significant (p < 0.01) reduction in OVA-induced allergic hyper-responses i.e., inflammatory cells grade, antibody IgE as well as altered IFN-α in airways were observed at three different doses of In.Cr. It can be concluded that sound mechanistic basis i.e., the existence of antioxidants: various phenolic and flavonoids, calcium antagonist(s) as well as enzymes’ inhibition profile, validates folkloric consumptions of this traditionally used plant to treat ailments of respiration.  相似文献

The agriculture sector faces numerous problems. One of the beforementioned problems relates to the proper crop plants’ fertilization. The conventional bulk fertilizers are becoming less effective and have a negative impact on the environment. Nanomaterials such as zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are widely used in various sectors such as medicine or electronics. Several studies indicate that nano-ZnO may likewise be considered as a potential nanofertilizer. In present research, an attempt was made to study the influence of two different sized ZnO NPs (<50 nm and <100 nm) on the seed germination of chosen tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) cultivars. The seeds of three cherry tomato cultivars were placed on a Petri dish with the NPs suspensions (0, 50, 150, and 250 mg/L) in order to examine the influence on germination parameters at a certain size of NPs and at a chosen concentration. In addition, within this study, we verified that the implicated conditions have the exact impact on all three cultivars. The obtained results indicate that all the factors affect the seed sprouting, however, this process mainly depends on the type of tomato cultivar and the size of the used nanoparticles. The parameter of the germination percentage (GP) was the only of the assumed factors that did not influence it significantly. Nevertheless, the values of other examined parameters such as the MGT, GRI, CVG, or VI depend strongly on all assumed features including the type of chosen cultivar. The obtained results vary significantly between all cultivars which indicates that the plants from the same family may require different conditions for optimal growth. In this research the <50 nm ZnO nanoparticles had more beneficial influence on sprouting parameters then parallelly used <100 nm ZnO nanoparticles.  相似文献

The applications of computer vision technology for acquiring and analysing images have been extended to the quality evaluation in food industry. This technique involves great advantages for the objective, rapid, non-contact and automated quality inspection and control. The aim of this work was to evaluate the potential of the computer vision to determine the phenolic maturity stage of grape seeds. Up to 21 phenolic compounds were determined by HPLC–DAD-MS in order to obtain reference values to develop the model. The CIELAB parameters, area, aspect, roundness, length, width and heterogeneity of seeds were analysed using a DigiEye® system. The technique reported in this work can be a good and rapid tool for taking decisions at harvest time. Notwithstanding, a comprehensive study should be made in order to develop more robust models.  相似文献

The use of the minicomputer K 1003 for estimation of binding parameters by nonlinear regression analysis of RIA-data is reported. The mathematical fundamentals of nonlinear regression analysis by use of Gauss – Newton-Algorithm and its application on the computer K 1003 is briefly explaned. Equations for some easy binding models and its derivativs are presented. The advantage of nonlinear regression analysis over its linear expression (e.g. Scatchard plot) is demonstrated.  相似文献
