In this paper we continue the study of the theories I n+1 (T), initiated in [7]. We focus on the quantifier complexity of these fragments and theirs (non)finite axiomatization. A characterization is obtained for the class of theories such that I n+1 (T) is n+2 –axiomatizable. In particular, I n+1 (I n+1 ) gives an axiomatization of Th n+2 (I n+1 ) and is not finitely axiomatizable. This fact relates the fragment I n+1 (I n+1 ) to induction rule for n+1 –formulas. Our arguments, involving a construction due to R. Kaye (see [9]), provide proofs of Parsons conservativeness theorem (see [16]) and (a weak version) of a result of L.D. The presence of dust grains is a common phenomenon in the space environment. Grains can be charged by many different processes (e.g., photoemission, attachment of electrons/ions, the secondary emission, etc.). If the grain's surface potential becomes high enough, one can observe field emission of ions or electrons. We are trapping a single dust grain in a Paul trap, expose it to a low-energy electron beam, and investigate the evolution of its charge-to-mass ratio with respect to the energy of primary electron beam. We use micron-sized (D = 2–11 m) glass grains and charge them up to -300 V of surface potentials; it corresponds to the electric field strength of about 108 V/m. Analysis of the charging/discharging processes has shown that (1) the effect of the field enhanced secondary emission is negligible in the case of insulators and (2) the effective work function for electron field emission from charged insulators is as low as 1 eV.  相似文献

The electroweak coupling between intense neutrino beams and strongly degenerate relativistic dense electron-positron magnetoplasmas is considered. The intense neutrino bursts interact with the plasma due to the weak Fermi interaction force, and their dynamics is governed by a kinetic equation. Our objective here is to develop a kinetic equation for a degenerate neutrino gas and to use that equation to derive relativistic magnetohydrodynamic equations. The latter are useful for studying numerous collective processes when intense neutrino beams nonlinearly interact with degenerate, relativistic, dense electron-positron plasmas in strong magnetic fields. If the number densities of the plasma particles are of the order of 1033 cm-3, the pair plasma becomes ultra-relativistic, which strongly affects the potential energy of the weak Fermi interaction. The new system of equations allows several neutrino-driven streaming instabilities involving new types of relativistic Alfvén-like waves. The relevance of our investigation to the early universe and supernova explosions is discussed. 近几年来,由于高功率激光技术的不断发展,利用超强激光脉冲与等离子体相互作用产生高能离子束的研究得到了极大推动.实验和理论模拟均发现,在超强激光脉冲与等离子体相互作用过程中,可以产生高亮度、小尺寸、方向性好的高能质子束和高能重离子束.这种基于超强激光的高能离子源在先进离子束成像技术、惯性约束聚变混合“快点火”、新型台面离子加速器以及医疗等方面都有很诱人的应用前景.文章主要介绍了超强激光与固体靶相互作用中高能离子束(尤其是质子束)的加速机制、高能离子束特性、常用测量方法及其潜在应用,并对最新的研究进展进行了简单介绍.  相似文献

In this paper we present explicit formulas for the escape factors of strong spectral lines in spherical-symmetric plasmas. The plasma does not necessarily have a homogeneous density. The calculations include two new elements: the first incorporates an accurate calculation of the angle-averaged areal density of ions from any internal point to the edge of the sphere. The second is the use of a saddle point method to carry out the integration over the line profile. Approximate expressions for the asymptotic behavior of the escape factor are given for Gaussian, Lorentzian and Holtsmarkian line shapes.  相似文献

The effect of suprathermal polarization force on both linear and weakly nonlinear dust-acoustic solitary structures in a three-component dusty plasma is investigated. For this purpose, a new expression of the polarization force acting on dust particles that include the electronic suprathermal effect is derived. The results are applied to two different experimental dusty plasmas. We have found that the polarization force acting on the dust grains decreases as the electron suprathermality becomes more significant. In addition, we have shown that, for a given value of the spectral index κ , the polarization force magnitude fluctuates from one plasma to another. The changes arising in the propagation of small-amplitude dust-acoustic (DA) solitons due to the presence of this suprathermal polarization force are also analysed. Interestingly, an increase in the magnitude of the polarization force leads to an increase in the amplitude and width of DA soliton and provides more energy to the motion of this soliton.  相似文献

The dispersion relations of parallel propagating modes(Langmuir mode, right and left handed circular polarized waves) in the weak magnetic field limit |ω-k·v| ? are considered for ultra-relativistic arbitrary degenerate electron plasma. The results are presented in terms of moments of Fermi-Dirac distribution. The increase in the electron equilibrium number density from negative large(weakly degenerate) to positive large(highly degenerate) values of μ/T_e is observed(where μ is the electron chemical potential and T_e is the electron thermal energy). As a result, shifting of the cutoff points in all the real dispersion branches towards the higher values and increasing in the band gap between unmagnetized longitudinal and transverse modes in k-space are examined. Also, the suppression of the weak magnetic field effects in weakly magnetized right handed and left handed circular polarized waves and a decrease in the longitudinal and transverse screening effects are observed in the graphical patterns due to an increase in the equilibrium number density.  相似文献

以葡萄皮脱分化组织为最初材料,用根癌农杆菌702菌株感染,通过纸电泳证明胭脂碱合成醇基因的存在,并在无激素培养基上培养5~6代以上,将此组织(MS)作为本次实验的研究对象.用He-Ne激光辐照,对MS进行诱变处理,通过继代选育,得到优良细胞系T12,其特点是:生长迅速,生长周期比对照组(CK)缩短10~15天;生长曲线的稳定期明显延长,白藜芦醇平均产量比MS组提高40%.通过稳定性实验证明T12组遗传性状是可靠的.  相似文献
