Synthesis of (±)-6-oxa-3-azabicyclo[3.1.1]heptan-2-thione: a potential synthon for the preparation of novel heteroaryl-annulated bicyclic morpholines

The novel bridged bicyclic morpholinethione (±)-6-oxa-3-azabicyclo[3.1.1]heptan-2-thione (9) has been prepared in six steps. This conformationally restricted morpholinethione was prepared stereoselectively using straightforward chemistry and inexpensive starting materials. The key oxetane ring was formed via an intramolecular alkylation reaction.     

Palladium-catalyzed C-N bond formation via direct C-H bond functionalization. Recent developments in heterocyclic synthesis

The formation of carbon-nitrogen bonds by reaction between a nitrogen atom and an unactivated carbon-hydrogen bond is a highly atom-economical process that attracted the attention of the chemists in the last two decades. The widely useful amination and hydroamination reactions, which furnish acyclic or cyclic products, give access to various nitrogen-containing basic and fine chemicals. This review highlights recent progress in the development of palladium-catalyzed reactions that occur by direct functionalization of simple carbon-hydrogen bonds to give heterocyclic products. Pd(0)- and Pd(II)-catalyzed reactions are described separately, emphasizing the different behavior of the metal in these two oxidation states.     

1,4-Additions of electron-rich heterocycles onto β-perfluoroalkyl enones

β-(Trifluoromethyl) enones, easily obtained in few steps from commercially available methyl hemiketal of trifluoroacetaldehyde, react with electron-rich O- and N-containing heterocycles (furans and benzofurans, pyrroles and indoles, hydroxycoumarins), through a 1,4 addition, to give heterocycles bearing a functionalized side-chain. β-(chlorodifluoromethyl)enones and β-(pentafluoroethyl)enones behave in the same way.     

氮杂多环芳烃~（13）C－NMR化学位移的理论探讨

本文主要是对氮原子以ｓｐ~２杂化，孤氮电子占据ｓｐ~２杂化轨道，以这种形式成键的氮杂交变多环芳烃中的１１个化合物的~（１３）Ｃ－ＮＭＲ的化学位移进行了计算。该计算依据ＣＮＤＯ方法一个联系分子电荷密度，键级和键长等参数的半经验公式。同时利用环电流、空间效应以及针对氮原子的屏蔽效应和去屏蔽效应的影响，通过分子动力学的考虑，得到理论上计算的化学位移，该计算结果与实验值吻合得很好，通过时~（１３）Ｃ－ＮＭＲ化学位移的回归分析表明，回归系数达到０．９９，非常好地反映了氮杂多环芳烃~（１３）Ｃ－ＮＭＲ化学位移与分子微观结构之间的关系，同时表明我们在处理诸多化学位移时考虑到的因素是合理可行的。

An Efficient Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Structurally Diverse Styrylquinolines

Summary. Aromatic aldehydes undergo condensation with quinaldines under microwave irradiation to afford structurally diverse styrylquinolines in high yields under solvent-free conditions. A comparison with the conventional method clearly indicates the advantages of the new protocol.     

Syntheses of Heterocycles by Intramolecular Acylation of Nitrile-Hydrogen Halide Adducts

Five-membered, six-membered, and seven-membered aza-, diaza-, and thiazaheterocycles can be prepared by cyclization of. ω-cyano carboxylic acid halides in the presence of hydrogen halides in aprotic solvents. Nitrile-hydrogen halide adducts occur as intermediates in this novel heterocycle synthesis of wide application. The acylating cyclizations of nitriles in protonic media, which proceed via imidic esters or amides, are not discussed.     

Formation,Detection, and Reactions of Phosphinidenes (Phosphanediyls)

Formation and detection of phosphinidenes (R? P?:) in the decomposition of cyclophosphanes and in the reaction of dichlorophosphanes with metals are considered critically. Only in the thermolysis of pentaphenylcyclopentaphosphane can phenylphosphinidene be detected with certainty by pyrolysis-mass spectroscopy. “Trapping reactions” such as “insertion” into S? S or As? As bonds, and addition reactions with 1,2-diketones, 1,3-dienes, or alkynes can also be interpreted without the assumption of free phosphinidenes. The pyrolysis products of cyclophosphanes add to 1,3-dienes and alkynes, yielding five- and six-membered heterocycles that contain one to three phosphorus atoms.
