Arterial prostheses made of microporous Teflon (ePTFE) are currently used in vascular surgery as bypasses for small and medium vessels. However, several clinical complications, such as thrombosis, frequently occur in these prostheses when implanted in humans. In this work, an original strategy was developed to improve the hemocompatibility of ePTFE prostheses, based on glow-discharge surface modification followed by chemical grafting of phosphorylcholine, known for its hemocompatible properties. This procedure leads to a covalent attachment of the molecules, therefore preventing their removal by shear stress induced by blood flow at the implant wall. The improvement of the blood compatibility properties of the modified ePTFE arterial prostheses have been investigated by in vitro tests such as thromboelastography, neutrophil adsorption, platelet aggregation, and cell cultures. These in vitro tests put in evidence that thrombogenicity index, platelet aggregation, and neutrophil adhesion were decreased by the molecule grafted on the prostheses. Moreover, the cell growth on the surface of the PRC-grafted prostheses was greatly enhanced in comparison to the virgin prosthesis. Based on these results, it could be concluded that PRC grafting on ePTFE prostheses permit to improve in vitro hemocompatibility and biocompatibility in comparison with their virgin counterpart. 相似文献

In the paper, the WL quasi-exact reinforcement theory of fibrous polymeric composites is improved. An optimum compatibility condition related to the transverse shear problem for a unit cell, which brings solutions closest to reality, is derived. This condition is formulated in the form of a linear combination of maximum radial and circumferential displacements. Optimum coefficients of this combination are determined by comparing analytical and numerical solutions for a test specimen in the form of a rectangular thin plate, which is in a plane strain state and is subject to selected loading schemes. The analytic solutions are obtained for a homogenized material by using the WL reinforcement theory. The numerical solutions are found for an actual heterogeneous composite material by using the finite-element method, and they verify the WL reinforcement theory, in particular, the admissibility of Hills assumption. The stability of three synthetic pyrethroids (cypermethrin, deltamethrin and permethrin) to selected tributyltin compounds, Bu3SnX [where X = OSnBu3, Cl, O2CC6H5, O2C(naphthenyl), OSO2C2H5], (Bu3SnO)3PO and (Bu4N) (Bu3SnCl2), in toluene solution was investigated by infrared spectroscopy over a 24-week period. It was found that only (Bu3Sn)2O reacted with the pyrethroids and that their order of reactivity was cypermethrin>deltamethrin>permethrin. An attempt was made to elucidate the reaction mechanism(s) occurring between (Bu3Sn)2O and the pyrethroids by studying mixtures of this tributyltin fungicide with simple model compounds, R1CO2R2 where R1=CH3; R2=CH2C6H5 and R1=cyclo-C3H5 and R2=CH2C6H5. 相似文献

Modified intumescent flame retardants (MIFRs) and polysiloxane (APID) have been used in combination to enhance the flame retardancy of polypropylene (PP). The IFR system was composed of melamine (MEL), ammonium polyphosphate (APP) and pentaerythritol (PER). Aimed to improve the thermal stability of the IFR and its dispersivity in PP, titanate coupling agent NDZ‐201 was used to modify the IFRs via ball milling. MIFRs and APID have a cooperative effect on the flame retardant properties of PP. With 25 wt.% of MIFR and APID, the flame retardant sample (PPMA) was rated V0 for UL‐94, the LOI value was 34.3%, and the peak heat release rate (PHRR) was reduced by 80% in cone calorimeter test. In addition, APID could improve the compatibility of MIFR with the PP matrix, thereby increasing the mechanical properties of PP blends. The flame retardant effect of APID and MIFR in PP was presented in the condensed phase resulting in a rigid, thermally stable and expanded carbon layer due to different char structures. 相似文献

石椒草和夏枯草是两味典型的中草药材,它们都是清凉药,都是双子叶草本植物。采用傅里叶变换红外光谱法,直接、快速、准确地测定石椒草和夏枯草的红外光谱图,分析比较了2个样品在红外光谱图上的异同。石椒草和夏枯草的红外光谱的部分特征峰与其疗效有着直接关系:石椒草和夏枯草在1727cm-1附近均有吸收峰,说明石椒草和夏枯草均有杀菌抗病毒的功效;石椒草在1378、1251cm-1附近有吸收峰,说明石椒草有活血化瘀、抗炎抑菌的功效。通过分析红外光谱,为石椒草和夏枯草的识别、鉴定和药理分析提供了一定的科学依据。 相似文献

To improve hydrophilicity and blood compatibility properties of polyurethane (PU) film, we chemically induced graft copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) onto the surface of polyurethane film using benzoyl peroxide as an initiator. The effects of grafting temperature, grafting time, monomer and initiator concentrations on the grafting yields were studied. The maximum grafting yield value was obtained 0.0275 g/cm2 for HEMA. Characterization of the films was carried out by attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), water contact angle measurements. ATR-FTIR data showed that HEMA was successfully grafted onto the PU films surface. Water contact angle measurement demonstrated the grafted films possessed a relatively hydrophilic surface. The blood compatibility of the grafted films was preliminarily evaluated by a platelet-rich plasma adhesion test and hemolysis test. The results of platelet adhesion experiment showed that polyurethane grafted polymerization with monomer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate had good blood compatibility featured by the low platelet adhesion. Hemolysis rate of the PU-g-PHEMA films was dramatically decreased than the ungrafted PU films. This kind of new biomaterials grafted with HEMA monomers might have a potential usage for biomedical applications. 相似文献

采用甘氨酸-硝酸盐法(GNP)合成La0.90Sr0.10Al0.97Mg0.03O3-δ (LSAM)粉体, 成型后经1500 °C、5 h 烧结的样品, 900 °C时其电导率为1.11×10-2 S·cm-1. 利用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜/X 射线能谱分析(SEM/EDX)和交流阻抗技术等表征手段研究NiO-Ce0.9Gd0.1O1.95 (Ni-GDC)、Sr0.88Y0.08TiO3 (SYT)和La0.75Sr0.25Cr0.5Mn0.5O3(LSCM)三种阳极材料与LSAM电解质的化学相容性. 结果表明, SYT 和LSCM与LSAM的化学相容性欠佳,SYT中的Sr2+和Ti4+向LSAM晶格的扩散明显, LSCM中的Mn3+和Cr3+向LSAM晶格的扩散显著; 而Ni-GDC与LSAM具有良好的化学相容性, 在1300 °C下两材料间阳离子的相互扩散作用极小. 800 °C时Ni-GDC的比表面极化电阻(RASP)值为5.12 Ω·cm2. LSAM 电解质(厚度为550 μm)支撑的Ni-GDC/GDC/LSAM/GDC/LSF(La0.75Sr0.25FeO3)单电池, 在800 °C时电池的开路电压为0.925 V, 最大功率密度为19.5 mW·cm-2. 相似文献
