A simple route to 9-fluorenylidenes by domino Suzuki/Heck coupling reactions

A palladium catalyzed domino intermolecular Suzuki followed by intramolecular Heck coupling is described. This strategy afforded a novel and convenient synthesis of various 9-fluorenylidene derivatives in one-pot under relatively mild reaction condition.     

Efficient imidazolium salts for palladium-catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck and Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions

The system, Pd(OAc)2/imidazolium salts (L2), was found as an efficient catalyst in the Heck coupling reaction of olefins with aryl halides and Suzuki reactions of various aryl halides with aryl boronic acids under aerobic condition. This catalytic system demonstrates great tolerance to a wide range of groups on all substrates of aryl halides, alkenes and aryl boronic acids.     

A Convenient Procedure for N-Amination of 4-OXO-1,4-Dihydroquinolines

A high yielding N-amination of quinolones at low temperature via the use of O-mesitylenesulfonylhydroxylamine is reported.     

Synthesis of Novel Bithiophene-Substituted Heterocycles Bearing Carbonitrile Groups

Symmetrical and unsymmetrical bithiophene-substituted heterocycles bearing carbonitriles including imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, benzimidazole, and pyridine derivatives have been synthesized via different synthetic protocols. The bithiophene bis-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives 3a,b were achieved in three steps starting from 2-acetyl-5-bromothiophene. Suzuki coupling reaction of 2a with 5-formylthiophen-2-ylboronic acid forms the formyl derivative 5, which by condensation with 3,4-diaminobenzonitrile in the presence of sodium bisulfite furnishes the unsymmetrical bithiophene derivative6. The bis-benzimidazole derivative 8 was obtained via hexabutylditin-mediated homocoupling of 5-bromothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde, while the benzimidazole derivatives 12a,b were prepared via the formyl derivatives 11a,b, a product of Velsmier formylation reaction of 10a,b. Two synthetic protocols for the aryl/hetaryl-2,2′-bithiophene derivative 14 have also been presented. In addition, the guanyl hydrazones of bithiophenes, 16 and 17, were prepared from bis(tri-n-butylstannyl)-2,2′-bithiophene through a Stille coupling reaction followed by a condensation step.     

碳水化合物衍生的手性配体——25含碳水化合物单元的膦配体在钯催化的Heck反应中的应用

评价了一种碳水化合物衍生的具有较大立体位阻及较三苯基膦更富电子的膦配体(甲基3-脱氧-3-二苯膦基-4,6-氧-苯次甲基-α-D-吡喃阿卓糖苷,3-MBPA)在Pd催化的Heck反应中的性能.发现在N,N-二甲基乙酰胺溶刺中K2CO3是该催化体系较适合的碱;在该配体的支持下催化剂中钯的用量可低至0.5 mo1%;可催化苯乙烯与带给电子基团的溴代芳烃及带吸电子基团的氯代芳烃发生反应,高产率地生成相应的偶联产物;反应区域选择性表明,Pd(OAc)2/3-MBPA体系在催化苯乙烯与卤代芳烃的Heck反心中并存阳离子催化途径,说明3-MBPA中的氧原了可能也参与配位;同时发现,加入助配体四丁基溴化胺(TBAB)后,可能是Br-参与配位有利于增加中性催化途径的机会而提高了反应区域选择性.     

Stereospecific preparation of (2E, 4Z)-monofluorodienyl esters by the Heck reaction of high E/Z ratio 1-bromo-1-fluorostyrenes

High E/Z ratio (E/Z>75:25) 1-bromo-1-fluorostyrenes, which were prepared by isomerization of 1-bromo-1-fluorostyrenes (E/Z≈1:1), underwent the Heck reaction with methyl acrylate, and (2E, 4Z)-methyl 5-aryl-4-fluoropenta-2,4-dienoates were successfully isolated. Heck reactions of (Z)-1-bromo-1-fluorostyrenes also occur. However, the products are difficult to separate in a pure form, since they have an obvious tendency to isomerize on a silica gel column.
