为了考察水含量对丙三醇水溶液玻璃体结构松弛行为的影响,利用差示扫描量热法(DSC)测量了五种高浓度丙三醇水溶液的玻璃化转变温度和玻璃化转变区域的比热容,利用TNM模型进行了结构松弛的现象学分析. 松弛时间的分析结果表明,水溶液玻璃中水含量越高,则松弛过程越快. TNM模型的计算结果表明,随着水含量的增加,玻璃体系的结构松弛活化能和非指数参数都有逐渐降低的趋势,而非线性参数和指前因子逐渐增加. 相似文献

Aeration plays an important role in the production of glycerol by fermentation with yeast. Effective aeration depends on a
number of factors, such as amount of air, fineness of air dispersion, rate of agitation, and time of gasliquid contact. This
investigation dealt with the effect of periodic variation in gas pressure on oxygen transfer measured by sulfite oxidation
and glycerol fermentation in stirred tanks. The oxygen transfer rate measured with the sulfite oxidation method was improved
by 20–30% under the condition of pressure pulsation (PP) at 30°C. The yield and productivity of glycerol were increased by

The search for alternate sources of chemicals has resulted in a re-evaluation of many carbohydrates for conversion to oxychemicals.
Inulin is an example of a carbohydrate receiving an increased amount of attention for use in industrial processes. This polymer
is composed almost exclusively of fructofuranose structural units, making it very attractive for conversion into high fructose
syrup and ethanol. Inulin can also be oxidized and reduced by a number of methods, and therefore lends itself well as feedstock
for the exclusive conversion to glycerol. The advantages of inulin, coupled with a renewable supply, make it a very attractive

Upon emulsification of a mixture of methyl methacrylate or methacrylic acid monomer, along with divinylbenzene crosslinker
and octane porogen into a glycerol suspension medium, brightly colored emulsions form. The bright colors of the emulsion originate
from an exact matching of the refractive index of the emulsion droplets with that of the glycerol medium only at certain wavelengths
of light – other wavelengths of light scatter. Polymerization of the brightly colored emulsions yields three different latex
morphologies depending upon the polymerization temperature and the type of emulsifier, monomer, initiator, or hydrocarbon
applied. The latex morphologies obtained range from large porous latex (1–10 μm in size) to medium-sized porous latex (0.1–1 μm
in size) to small latex (up to 0.1 μm in size).

Corn starch was modified by cross-linking with epichlorohydrin and plasticizer glycerol. X-ray diffraction studies showed that relative crystallinity of the native and cross-linked starch were similar and were not affected by cross-linking. Different films were prepared by blending corn starch, cross-linked starch or glycerol modified starch in LDPE. The mechanical properties of the films were studied for tensile strength, elongation, melt flow index, and burst strength. The properties of the blend films were compared with LDPE films. It was observed that with the blending of 7.5% native starch, there was a decrease in tensile strength, elongation and melt flow index but burst strength increased. The tensile strength, elongation and melt flow index of the films containing cross-linked starch was considerably higher than those containing native starch but the burst strength showed a reverse trend. For native starch and cross-linked starch modified with glycerol, the elongation and melt flow index of the films increased but burst strength decreased. Surface scanning of the blend films were done by scanning electron microscope. Film containing cross-linked starch/glycerol modified starch in the blend was observed to be smoother than the native starch blend films. 相似文献

The aim of the current study was to determine whether stepwise DSC (SW-DSC) is a suitable method for measuring the unfrozen matrix concentration (Cg) of binary aqueous solutions at temperatures as low as −50 °C. The optimal experimental conditions were determined using water. Reliable heat capacity values were determined at nominal scanning rates between 10 and 100 K min−1, sample weights between 8 and 15 mg, and with the sample completely covering the base of the DSC pan. These conditions were then applied to aqueous solutions of ethylene glycol, glycerol and sodium chloride.The apparent heat is the sum of all heat including latent heat, heat capacity and heat of dilution. The influence of each term on the apparent heat was discussed in detail. The apparent heat values of the frozen samples were then used to calculate the ice fraction in the solution and were expressed as the Cg. The calculated Cg values were similar to previously published values. This study showed that SW-DSC can be used to determine the Cg over a wide temperature range using only one single solution. This technique is advantageous for solutes that are not available in large quantities. 相似文献

Glycerol carbonate, straightforwardly issued from glycerol, is functionalized by telomerization with 1,3-butadiene by means of a palladium catalyst, to selectively afford the linear octadienylglyceryl carbonate. Further hydrogenation of the double bonds gives the saturated functionalized product. The resulting glyceryl carbonate ethers are tentatively co-polymerized with lactones in the presence of a neodymium initiator. Copolymers with up to ca 4 mol % of inserted carbonate are received. This work reports the first use of a monolith with method development for the separation of tocopherol (TOH) compounds by CEC with UV detection. A pentaerythritol diacrylate monostearate-ethylene dimethacrylate (PEDAS-EDMA) monolithic column has been investigated for an optimised condition to separate alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-TOHs, and alpha-tocopherol acetate (TAc). The PEDAS-EDMA monolith showed a remarkably good selectivity for separation of the TOH isomers including the beta- and gamma-isomers which are not easily separated by standard C8 or C18 particle-packed columns. Retention studies indicated that an RP mechanism was involved in the separation on the PEDAS-EDMA column, but polar interactions with the underlying ester and hydroxyl groups enhanced the separation of the problematic beta- and gamma-isomers. Separation of all the compounds was achieved within 25 min using 3:10:87 v/v/v 100 mM Tris buffer (pH 9.3)/methanol/ACN as the mobile phase. The method was successfully applied to a pharmaceutical sample with recoveries from 93 to 99%. Intraday and interday precisions (%RSD) for peak area and retention time were less than 2.3. LODs for all four TOHs and TAc were below 1 ppm. 相似文献
