对黄原胶/三价铬水凝胶在70,80和90℃下的脱水行为进行了研究.脱水与凝胶的交联密度即参与交联反应的三价铬的含量有密切联系.突发脱水之后的过程可以用一级反应动力学描述,反应速度常数随三价铬的浓度和温度的增高而增大,活化能为34.5kcal/mol.一价盐(NaCl)的含量对脱水过程没有影响.  相似文献

Summary High-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate isolated from rooster combs was degraded by ultrasonication. The molecular weight of hyaluronate and its polydispersity was determined by gel-permeation chromatography. During 75-min treatment the molecular weight value decreased from 1.39×106 Da to 2.25×105 Da while the polydispersity of the molecular weight increased from 1.29 to 2.36. The reciprocal value of the square of the hyaluronate's molecular weight was linearly proportional to the time of ultrasonication.  相似文献

Natural rubber is reinforced with a novel type of grass fiber (Cyperus Tegetum Rox b). The effects of fiber loading of different mesh sizes on curing characteristics and mechanical properties of grass fiber filled natural rubber composite are studied. Since 400 mesh grass fiber loaded natural rubber composite shows superior mechanical properties, therefore the effect of silane coupling agent was studied for this particular composite. Here composites were prepared by using water leached grass fiber. Optimum cure time increases with the increase in fiber loading but the change in scorch time is less. The same trend of increase in optimum cure time is observed in the presence of Si69. But the value is higher compared to that of rubber composite without Si69. With increase in the fiber loading, modulus and hardness of the composite increases but tensile strength decreases. The mechanical properties of the composite, namely moduli at 200 and 300% elongation and hardness increase in the presence of Si69 but tensile strength is less compared to that of the composite without Si69. Vectra® liquid crystalline polymers (LCP's) were introduced as commercial products in the mid-1980's. The first of these (Vectra A130) was a wholly aromatic thermotropic copolyester ofp-hydroxybenzoic acid and 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid. Vectra A130 is a thermotropic LCP that can be melt spun into filaments that on heat treatment are characterized by high strength and high modulus. Vectra resin can also be extruded into films. In the fiber or film form this material is commercially known as Vectran®. Heat treatment enhances the tensile strength of Vectran fiber variants. Because of this, the elucidation of the physical transformations taking place in the internal structure of the material during heating has always been an important subject. Several thermal techniques are used to indicate clearly that what is observed as a glass transition is unlike the conventional glass transition in typical semicrystalline polymers. There is also an indication of the presence of multiple states of mesophase aggregation that collapse into a single state when taken to high enough temperatures.  相似文献

Rice straw was employed for the preparation of lignocellulosic‐poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) composites. The effect of pretreatment of rice straw, concentration of PVC, pressure as well as pressing temperature on the mechanical properties and water absorption was studied. Also, the effect of lignin as coupling agent on the mechanical properties and water absorption of composite was studied. Composites of rice straw comprising both PVC and a coupling agent offer superior properties compared to those made from only rice straw and PVC. The extent of improvement in the mechanical properties and dimensional stability of composites depended not only on the pretreatment of rice straw, concentration of PVC and lignin but also on pressure and pressing temperature. Star-shaped block copolymers consisting of non-toxic poly(ethylene glycol) and biodegradable polycaprolactone ((PEG5K-PCL)4) were synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of the ε-caprolactone monomer with hydroxyl-terminated 4-armed PEG as initiator. These biodegradable, amphiphilic star block copolymers showed micellization and sol-gel transition behaviors in aqueous solution with varying concentration and temperature. In the dilute aqueous solutions of star block copolymers, micellization behavior occurred over specific concentration. The 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene (DPH) solubilization method was used to determine the critical micellization concentration (CMC) of star block copolymers. The obtained micelle size increased with increasing hydrophobic PCL block length. In high-concentration solutions, the star block copolymers showed temperature-sensitive sol-gel transition behavior. The morphology of the micelle and gel was investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). As a result, the micelles showed a core-corona spherical structure at concentration near CMC, while the gel showed a mountain-chain-like morphology picture. It was proposed that with increasing the micelle concentration the worm-like micelle clusters formed firstly and the gel was constructed by the packing of micelle clusters.  相似文献

根据碳纤维与细长碳纳米管耐磨性能与絮凝沉降性能的差异,提出了一种有效分离细长碳纳米管与碳纤维的物理方法——破碎-絮凝法.该方法包括研磨破碎、液相分散、絮凝沉降、过滤分离等步骤,可高效去除混杂于细长碳纳米管样品中的碳纤维,同时还可去除螺旋状碳纤维及细小碳颗粒等易悬浮杂质.纯化过程对细长碳纳米管无损伤.用电子显微镜和热重分析表征了纯化效果,并初步分析了纯化机理.  相似文献

We investigated the biomaterial and pharmaceutical utility of pure silk fibroin (SF) protein as a possible for separation, using Sephadex G-25 gel filtration chromatography and simply preparing SF microsphere particles (SFMP) by spray dryer. Also, some of its physicochemical properties and morphology were investigated. Obtaining microspheres and/or submicronic particles by spray dryer method was accelerated or completed with the transition from the random coil to the β-sheet structure during spray dryer treatment. It was identified by the basic Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of SFMP. The various pH range of SFMP’s swelling ratio is dependent on the pH of the solution, not on the occurred gelation. Morphologically, SFMP was spherical in shape, and particles, average 2±10 μm in size, were observed by scanning electron microscope and particle analyzer, respectively. The average molecular weight (MW) of pure SF protein dissolved in calcium chloride is about 61,500 g/mol as measured by gel permeation chromatography.  相似文献

Adsorption of the cationic polymers poly(methacrylamidopropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride) (PMAPTAC) and poly(1,1-dimethylpiperidinium-3,5-diallylmethylene chloride) (PDMPDAMC) on human hair was studied by measurements of the amount of polymer adsorbed and by the streaming potential method. Results reflect the amphoteric nature of the keratin surface and show that the excess of anionic sites at pH values above 4 is the main driving force for the adsorption of cationic polyelectrolytes. Lowering the pH below 4 or addition of neutral salt (KCl) reduces the amount of adsorbed polymer. It was shown that the adsorption of cationic polymer in the concentration range 0.01 to 0.1 % and at neutral pH reverses the overall character of the surface from anionic to cationic. Keratin fibers modified in this manner do not exhibit amphoteric character and bear excess positive charge in the pH range 2–9.5. The value of the amount of the polymer adsorbed at saturation concentration (2 mg/g) as well as the lack of molecular weight effect in the range (5 · 104 – 106) on the amount of polymer adsorbed suggest that polymer chains adopt a rather extended conformation on the fiber surface. Some data concerning the formation of a complex between adsorbed cationic polymer and anionic detergents or polyelectrolytes are also presented.  相似文献
