Abstract This paper describes two rapid, sensitive, and specific methods for the determination of medazepam with internal standard (diazepam) in pharmaceutical preparations by gas chromatography (GC) with flame ionization (FID) and mass spectrometric (MS) detection. The linearity was established over the concentration range of 0.25–5 µg/mL for GC-FID and 50–1000 ng/mL for GC-MS method. The intra- and inter-day relative standard deviation was less than 2.94 and 4.95%, respectively. Developed GC-FID and GC-MS methods in this study are accurate, sensitive, and precise and can be directly and easily applied to Tranko buskas as pharmaceutical preparation. 相似文献

In this review sample preparation strategies used for crude oil digestion in last ten years are discussed focusing on further metals and non-metals determination. One of the main challenges of proposed methods has been to overcome the difficulty to bring crude oil samples into solution, which should be compatible with analytical techniques used for element determination. On this aspect, this review summarizes the sample preparation methods for metals and non metals determination in crude oil including those based on wet digestion, combustion, emulsification, extraction, sample dilution with organic solvents, among others. Conventional methods related to wet digestion with concentrated acids or combustion are also covered, with special emphasis to closed systems. Trends in sample digestion, such as microwave-assisted digestion using diluted acids combined with high-efficiency decomposition systems are discussed. On the other hand, strategies based on sample dilution in organic solvents and procedures recommended for speciation analysis are reported as well as the use of direct analysis in view of the recent importance for crude oil field. A compilation concerning sample preparation for crude oil provided by official methods as well as certified reference materials available for accuracy evaluation is also presented and discussed. 相似文献

A new, simple, gas chromatographic method was developed for the direct analysis of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), 2-furfural (2-F) and 5-methylfurfural (5-MF) in liquid and water soluble foods, using direct immersion SPME coupled to GC-FID and/or GC-TOF-MS. The fiber (DVB/CAR/PDMS) conditions were optimized: pH effect, temperature, adsorption and desorption times. The method is simple and accurate (RSD<8%), showed good recoveries (77-107%) and good limits of detection (GC-FID: 1.37 microgL(-1) for 2-F, 8.96 microgL(-1) for 5-MF, 6.52 microgL(-1) for 5-HMF; GC-TOF-MS: 0.3, 1.2 and 0.9 ngmL(-1) for 2-F, 5-MF and 5-HMF, respectively). It was applied to different commercial food matrices: honey, white, demerara, brown and yellow table sugars, and white and red balsamic vinegars. This one-step, sensitive and direct method for the analysis of furfurals will contribute to characterise and quantify their presence in the human diet. 相似文献

The most commonly used military fog oil is characterized by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC×GC) coupled to either Flame Ionization Detection (FID) or Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometric Detection (TOFMS) to advance the knowledge regarding the complete chemical makeup of this complex matrix. Two different GC×GC column sets were investigated, one employing a non-polar column combined with a shape selective column and the other an inverse column set (medium-polar/non-polar). The inverse set maximizes the use of the two-dimensional separation space and segregates aliphatic from aromatic fractions. The shape selective column best separates individual polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from the bulk oil. The results reveal that fog oil (FO) is composed mainly of aliphatic compounds ranging from C10 to C30, where naphthenes comprise the major fraction. Although many different species of aromatics are present, they constitute only a minor fraction in this oil, and no conjugated PAHs are found. The composition of chemically similar aliphatic constituents limits the analytical power of silica gel fractionation and GC–MS analysis to characterize FO. Among the aliphatic compounds identified are alkanes, cyclohexanes, hexahydroindanes, decalins, adamantanes, and bicyclohexane. The aromatic fraction is composed of alkylbenzene compounds, indanes, tetrahydronaphthalenes, partially hydrogenated PAHs, biphenyls, dibenzofurans and dibenzothiophenes. This work represents the best characterization of military fog oil to date. As the characterization process shows, information on such complex samples can only be parsed using a combination of sample preprocessing steps, multiple detection schemes, and an intelligent selection of column chemistries. 相似文献

Propolis is a resinous natural product collected by honeybees (Apis mellifera and others) from tree exudates that has been widely used in folk medicine. The present study was carried out to investigate the fatty acid composition, chemical constituents, antioxidant, and xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitory activity of Jordanian propolis, collected from Al-Ghour, Jordan. The hexane extract of Jordanian propolis contained different fatty acids, which are reported for the first time by using GC-FID. The HPLC was carried out to identify important chemical constituents such as fatty acids, polyphenols and α-tocopherol. The antioxidant and xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities were also monitored. The major fatty acid identified were palmitic acid (44.6%), oleic acid (18:1∆9cis, 24.6%), arachidic acid (7.4%), stearic acid (5.4%), linoleic acid (18:2∆9–12cis, 3.1%), caprylic acid (2.9%), lignoceric acid (2.6%), cis-11,14-eicosaldienoic acid (20:2∆11–14cis, 2.4%), palmitoleic acid (1.5%), cis-11-eicosenoic acid (1.2%), α–linolenic acid (18:3∆9–12–15cis, 1.1%), cis-13,16-docosadienoic acid (22:2∆13–16cis, 1.0%), along with other fatty acids. The major chemical constituents identified using gradient HPLC-PDA analysis were pinocembrin (2.82%), chrysin (1.83%), luteolin-7-O-glucoside (1.23%), caffeic acid (1.12%), caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE, 0.79%), apigenin (0.54%), galangin (0.46%), and luteolin (0.30%); while the minor constituents were hesperidin, quercetin, rutin, and vanillic acid. The percentage of α-tocopherol was 2.01 µg/g of the lipid fraction of propolis. Antioxidant properties of the extracts were determined via DPPH radical scavenging. The DPPH radical scavenging activities (IC50) of different extracts ranged from 6.13 to 60.5 µg/mL compared to ascorbic acid (1.21 µg/mL). The xanthine oxidase inhibition (IC50) ranged from 75.11 to 250.74 µg/mL compared to allopurinol (0.38 µg/mL). The results indicate that the various flavonoids, phenolic compounds, α-tocopherol, and other constituents which are present in propolis are responsible for the antioxidant and xanthine oxidation inhibition activity. To evaluate the safety studies of propolis, the pesticide residues were also monitored by LC-MS-MS 4500 Q-Trap. Trace amounts of pesticide residue (ng/mL) were detected in the samples, which are far below the permissible limit as per international guidelines. 相似文献

The determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) metabolites in human urine is the method of choice for assessing exposure to carcinogenic compounds. The objective of this study was the development of a comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC) method using a flame ionisation detector (FID) to simultaneously determine 10 hydroxylated PAH. The method was based on enzymatic deconjugation, liquid–liquid extraction, and trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatization of the analytes by microwave heating. Satisfactory separation was achieved. The coefficient of variance was 3.8–12.8%. LOD was 0.03–0.18 μg/L, and LOQ was 0.1–0.5 μg/L. The mean recovery was 76%. The method was applied to the analysis of urine from smokers and non-smokers. 相似文献

The directly suspended droplet microextraction (DSDME) technique coupled with the capillary gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) was used to determine BTEX compounds in aqueous samples. The effective parameters such as organic solvent, extraction time, microdroplet volume, salt effect and stirring speed were optimized. The performance of the proposed technique was evaluated for the determination of BTEX compounds in natural water samples. Under the optimal conditions the enrichment factors ranged from 142.68 to 312.13, linear range; 0.01-20 μg mL−1, limits of detection; 0.8-7 ng mL−1 for most analytes. Relative standard deviations for 0.2 μg mL−1 of BTEX in water were in the range 1.81-2.47% (n = 5). The relative recoveries of BTEX from surface water at spiking level of 0.2 μg mL−1 were in the range of 89.87-98.62%. 相似文献
