The promotion/prevention mechanism of dissolved gases on cavitation inception is essential for many high-tech industries and research. In the present study, large-scale molecular dynamics simulations are performed to investigate the effects of water cavitation caused by different gas types by using nitrogen and oxygen gases with TIP4P/2005 water. The cavitation inception behaviour is analyzed via Mean First Passage Time method. Water with dissolved gases has a higher nucleation rate and is easier to cavitate than pure water. At the same gas concentration, the cavitation of water with nitrogen is promoted to a greater extent than that with oxygen. The number and energy of hydrogen bond (HB) are further calculated by the Acceptor-Hydrogen-Donor method to explain this promotion mechanism. The number and energy of HB in water with gases decrease compared with those in pure water. The introduction of gases weakens the HB network and promotes cavitation inception because of weaker interactions between gas and water molecules. A model is developed to describe the relationship between nucleation rate and HB energy. Gas molecules assemble on the surface of bubbles during water cavitation, which may decrease the free energy of bubble surface, maintain the existing bubble, and contribute to the growth process.  相似文献

Abstract

Measurements of both secondary electron emission coefficient γ and SiL23 Auger yield ρA obtained from (111) Si target bombarded by high fluence of noble gas ions were performed. For Si irradiated at room temperature at doses more than 1017 ions per cm2, monotonous increasing variation of γ and ρA versus incidence angle i was observed. For Si irradiated at a temperature more than a critical value, γ(i) and ρA(i) curves exhibited, superimposed to monotonous variation, some minima when the ion beam penetrates the crystal along low index directions. In the range 20–650°C, the Auger yield temperature dependence showed a sharp variation around a critical value depending on the ion mass for a given incident energy. These results are linked to an amorphous-crystalline phase transition.  相似文献

We discuss on the pairing mechanism of fermions with mismatch in their Fermi momenta due to a mass asymmetry. Using a variational ansatz for the ground state we also discuss the BCS-BEC crossover of this system. It is shown that the breached pairing solution with a single Fermi surface is stable in the BEC regime. We also include the temperatures effect on the fermion pairing within an approximation that is valid for temperatures much below the critical temperature.  相似文献

The spectroscopic emission intensities from excited F atoms in SF6-O2 discharges at 1 torr have been correlated to the densities of atoms in their ground electronic state by measuring the excitation efficiencies of the electrons in the energy range 11 to 17 eV with a method which essentially consists in the analysis of the emission of Ar or N2, added as actinometer gases to the discharge mixtures. The general applicability of the method has been tested by a direct titration of F atoms with chlorine. The spectroscopic analysis has allowed the determination of useful information on the trends of both the electron densities and their energies as a function of the oxygen percent in the feed.  相似文献

This paper describes the development of a lattice Boltzmann (LB) model for a binary gas mixture, and applications to channel flow driven by a density gradient with diffusion slip occurring at the wall. LB methods for single component gases typically use a non‐physical equation of state in which the relationship between pressure and density varies according to the scaling used. This is fundamentally unsuitable for extension to multi‐component systems containing gases of differing molecular masses. Substantial variations in the species densities and pressures may exist even at low Mach numbers; hence, the usual linearized equation of state for small fluctuations is unsuitable. Also, existing methods for implementing boundary conditions do not extend easily to novel boundary conditions, such as diffusion slip. The new model developed for multi‐component gases avoids the pitfalls of some other LB models. A single computational grid is shared by all the species, and the diffusivity is independent of the viscosity. The Navier–Stokes equation for the mixture and the Stefan–Maxwell diffusion equation are both recovered by the model. Diffusion slip, the non‐zero velocity of a gas mixture at a wall parallel to a concentration gradient, is successfully modelled and validated against a simple one‐dimensional model for channel flow. To increase the accuracy of the scheme, a second‐order numerical implementation is needed. This may be achieved using a variable transformation method that does not increase the computational time. 回顾了高超声速激波风洞的研制与发展,并依据高超声速实验研究对地面实验模拟技术的要求,分别介绍了应用轻气体、自由活塞和爆轰驱动技术研制的主要激波风洞的性能、特点和存在问题.重点介绍了爆轰驱动高焓激波风洞的3种主要运行模式:反向、正向爆轰驱动与双爆轰驱动. 根据这些运行模式的工作原理,分析了应用这些驱动技术产生的高温、高压气源的特点,探讨了不同驱动技术可能影响激波风洞性能的关键问题与解决方法.目前发展的激波风洞已经能够用于开展马赫数3$\sim$30的高超声速流动的试验模拟研究,但是试验气流的品质还不能满足高超声速科技研究的需求.为了获得可靠的实验结果, 通过不断改进、完善、提高激波风洞的性能,尽可能复现高超声速飞行条件是今后主要的研究方向.   相似文献

This paper investigates the smooth solution of 2D Chaplygin gas equations on an asymptotically flat Riemannian manifold. Under the assumption that the initial data are close to a constant state and the vorticity of the initial velocity vanishes, we prove the global existence of smooth solutions to the Cauchy problem for two‐dimensional flow of Chaplygin gases on curved space. The use of platinum group elements (PGEs) as components of autocatalytic converters attached to motor vehicles has resulted in serious contamination of the environment by Pt, Rh and Pd in nanocrystalline forms. Trace concentrations of PGEs, particularly the major component Pt, in environmental samples have been measured by sensitive instrumental procedures. These data have raised further questions about the nature of Pt species in contaminated soils and in plants grown in them. The focus of attention is changing from accumulations of data expressing total concentrations to investigations of speciation. Application of analytical procedures for research on speciation has provided information concerning transformations of Pt compounds in contaminated soils, the uptake of Pt by plants and the nature of Pt compounds in vegetation. Determination of background levels of precious metals in clinical and environmental matrices has required the development of analytical methods which combine uses of minimal quantities of reagents, and as small a number of chemical operations as possible to yield very low procedural blanks. Sensitive instrumental methods based upon high resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and adsorptive stripping voltammetry have proven to be valuable for this work.  相似文献
