Vibrational spectra of (NH4)3ZnCl5

IR and Raman spectra of (NH₄)₃ZnCl₅ have been recorded. The observed spectra have been analysed on the basis of the vibrations of ZnCl ₄ ²⁻ and NH ₄ ⁺ ions. The appearance of multiple Raman bands indicates the presence of two different types of ammonium ions. The effect of anisotropic crystalline field over the ZnCl₄ and NH₄ tetrahedra is also discussed. The assignment of internal modes has been verified by the potential energy distribution calculations.

五元体系Li~ /Cl~-,CO_3~(2-),SO_4~(2-),B_4O_7~(2-)-H_2O298K相关系实验研究

青藏高原盐湖富含锂、钠、钾的氯化物、硫酸盐、碳酸盐和硼酸盐,尤以其高锂、硼而闻名于世[1]。这些盐湖卤水大多属于Li ,Na ,K ,Mg2 /Cl-,SO42-,CO32-,Borate-H2O体系。在卤水蒸发浓缩后期,由于绝大部分钠盐、钾盐均已结晶析出,所以卤水的化学组成实际变成Li ,Mg2 /Cl-,SO42-,     

13C NMR spectra of azolopyridines and their quaternary salts

¹³ C NMR spectra of some azole series have been investigated: 2-pyridylbenzimidazoles, 2-pyridylimidazo [4,5-b]-pyridines, 2-pyridylimidazo[4,5-c]-pyridines, analogous oxazole compounds, as well as their mono- and bisquaternary salts. New Synthetic Method for Industrial Manufacture of Glutaric Dialdehyde

A new synthetic method for the manufacture of glutaric dialdehyde is investigated. Glutaric dialdehyde was prepared by the addition-hydrolysis reaction of benzimidazolium salt with saturated dihalide as the di-Grignard reagent. The yield of glutaric dialdehyde by this method can reach 73%. Both infrared spectra and melting point of the compound were consistent with those reported earlier. Gradient‐enhanced one‐dimensional pulse schemes for quaternary and methylene carbon detection

Gradient‐enhanced pulse schemes are presented for the detection of quaternary and methylene carbons. The new pulse schemes permit the detection of quaternary and methylene (—CH₂) carbons or CH₂ carbons alone from a single experiment. Efficient suppression of CH and CH₃ carbons in all the pulse schemes is achieved by creating their antiphase magnetization and then dephasing using gradients. In the pulse schemes for detection of only CH₂ carbons, the quaternary carbons are also suppressed either by dephasing using gradients or by rendering them unobservable by retaining in longitudinal order. The experimental results of the gradient pulse schemes are demonstrated on cholesteryl acetate and cyclosporin A. These one‐dimensional techniques, because of their simplicity and the ease of performing the experiments, can be important for routine chemical applications. On the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of functional equations in n-variables

In this paper we investigate a generalization of the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability for a functional equation of the form f(φ(X))=?(X)f(X)+ψ(X) and the stability in the sense of Ger for the functional equation of the form f(φ(X))=?(X)f(X), where X lie in n-variables. As a consequence, we obtain a stability result in the sense of Hyers-Ulam-Rassias, Gǎvruta, and Ger for some well-known equations such as the gamma, beta, and G-function type's equations.     

Functional calculus for non-commuting operators with real spectra via an iterated Cauchy formula

We define a smooth functional calculus for a non-commuting tuple of (unbounded) operators A_j on a Banach space with real spectra and resolvents with temperate growth, by means of an iterated Cauchy formula. The construction is also extended to tuples of more general operators allowing smooth functional calculii. We also discuss the relation to the case with commuting operators.     

Solid-phase oxidative halodecarboxylation of β-arylacrylic acids with the ceric ammonium nitrate—alkali halide system

The solid-phase oxidation of cinnamic, 4-methoxy- and 3,4-dimethoxycinnamic acids with Ce(NH₄)₂(NO₃)₆—MHal system leads to β-halostyrenes. Similar procedure in the absence of a metal halide results in a cleavage of the C=C bond giving the corresponding benzaldehydes. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. HILBERTIAN INVARIANCE PRINCIPLE FOR EMPIRICAL PROCESS ASSOCIATED WITH A MARKOV PROCESS

The authors establish the Hilbertian invariance principle for the empirical process of a stationary Markov process, by extending the forward-backward martingale decomposition of Lyons-Meyer-Zheng to the Hilbert space valued additive functionals associated with general non-reversible Markov processes.
