A spectrophotometric method for cyanide based on its inhibition of the colour formation reaction between nickel(II) and 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolylazo)-2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid has been developed, and allows the determination of down to 0.1 g of cyanide. The sol–gel method has been used for the synthesis of borosilicate gels from mixtures of methyltriethoxysilane (MTES) and
dimethyldiethoxysilane (DMDES) and boric acid. The use of boric acid, B(OH)3 allows the hydrolysis and condensation of hybrid silicon alkoxides without further addition of water or catalyst. The use
of difunctional silicon units, –(CH3)2SiO– promote the formation, during the sol–gel process, of linear oligomers which facilitate fiber drawing before gelation.
Gel characterization performed by FT-IR, XRD, TG-DTA and DCS analysis indicates the formation of a mixed network with incorporation
of the boron units via =B-O-Si≡ bridges. The formation of borosiloxane bonds seems favored by the presence of DMDES. SiBOC
glasses were obtained after pyrolysis of the borosilicate gels in argon atmosphere at 1000 °C. TG-DTA study indicates that
the ceramic yield decreases by increasing the amount of DMDES. Gel fibers were successfully prepared from convenient partially-aged
solutions by hand drawing. Pyrolysis of the obtained gel fibers under argon atmosphere at 1000 °C open the possibility to
produce SiBOC homogeneous glass fibers with diameter as low as 10 μm. 相似文献

A new rapid and accurate method for the spectrophotometric microdetermination of Cu(II) and Pd(II) using some 1,3,5-triphenylformazans (I) is given. The optimum conditions for the formation of the complexes are extensively investigated. The ligands form 1:1 and 1:2 (M:L) complexes with Cu and Pd ions, Beer's law is obeyed up to 3.8 and 6.5 ppm Cu and Pd respectively. The influence of foreign ions is investigated. It is the first time that boron is determined in the presence of a little methanol by discoloring spectrophotometry in this paper. A russety product can be formed by the reaction between glycine (Gly) and sodium 1,2-naphthoquinone-4-sulfonate (NQS) in alkaline solution. When boron is added to the solution, the system will be discolored, and the addition of a little methanol will improve the discoloration. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of boron concentrations of 0.86-43.24 μg ml−1 at the maximal discoloring wavelength of 382 nm. The equation of linear regression is A = −0.07581-86.79186C (mol l−1), with a linearly correlation coefficient of 0.9979. The detection limit is 0.80 μg ml−1 and R.S.D. is 4.2%. The method is successfully applied to the determination of boron in pharmaceutical and biological samples. The average recoveries are in the range of 98.2-104.1%. Analytical results obtained with this novel method are satisfactory. 相似文献

Four simple and sensitive spectrophotometric methods (A–D) for the determination of Ketotifen fumarate in bulk samples and pharmaceutical formulations are described. They are based on the formation of coloured species by the coupling of the diazotised sulphanilamide with the drug (method A, max 520 nm) or by oxidizing it with excessN-bromo-succinimide and determining the consumed NBS with decrease in colour intensity of celestine blue (method B: max 540 nm) or by the reduction of Folin-Ciocalteau reagent (method C: max 720 nm) or by the formation of a chloroform-soluble, coloured ionassociation complex between the drug and Azocarmine G at pH 1.5 (method D: max 540 nm). Regression analysis of Beer-Lambert plots showed good correlations in the concentration ranges 1–10, 2–12, 4–28 and 2.5–25 g/ml for methods A–D, respectively. The validity of the proposed methods was tested by analysing pharmaceutical formulations containing KTF: the relative standard deviations were within ±1.0%. Recoveries were 98.9–100.2%. 相似文献
