A submillimeter laser Stark spectrum has been observed for fully deuterated Methyl Chloride (CD3Cl) with the 337 m line of the HCN laser up to Stark fields of about 54000 V/cm. The spectra were taken for both Parallel and Perpendicular Polarizations and the multiplet transitions were identified as JK=42K41K in the ground vibrational state. Three families with K=12, 13 and 14 have been identified and their zero field frequencies have been given with improved accuracy over those calculated from available molecular constants. 相似文献

Electromotive force measurements were carried out on the system KCl–KNO3–H2O at constant total ionic strengths of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 mol-kg–1 and at 25, 35 and 45°C using a cell consisting of a potassium ionselective electrode and a Ag/AgCl electrode. The Harned coefficients and the Pitzer binary and ternary interaction parameters for the system have been evaluated at each temperature. The osmotic coefficients, excess free energies of mixing and heats of mixing of the system have been predicted at each of the experimental temperatures and ionic strengths. Composite materials were processed by casting a mixture of aqueous suspensions of latex and microfibrils. These microfibrils, or whiskers, are extracted from a sea animal and are monocrystals of cellulose, with an aspect ratio around 100 and an average diameter of 20 nm. It has been found that the mechanical properties (shear modulus) are increased by more than two orders of magnitude in the rubbery state of the polymeric matrix, when the whisker content was 6% (w/w). This very large effect is discussed on the basis of different types of mechanical models and it is concluded that these whiskers form a rigid network, probably linked by hydrogen bonds. The formation of this network is assumed to be governed by a percolation mechanism. 相似文献

A polyaluminum chloride (PAC) sample was prepared using a slow alkaline titration method. The Bio-Gel P-100 gel column chromatographic
technique was used to separate and characterize the various forms of aluminum present in the prepared PAC solution. The effluents
from a gel column were monitored using online chemical method: Al-Ferron timed complexation spectrophotometry and by 27Al nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Effects of different experimental conditions such as eluent flow rate, ionic
strength and pH on separation of Al13 were investigated. Experimental results indicated that molecule size exclusion was not the only parameter affecting the column
chromatographic separation efficiency of Al13 but molecule charge as well. Reducing the eluent flow rate, increasing the ionic strength and suitable pH resulted in increase
in the separation efficiency. Experimental results clearly indicated that by varying the experimental conditions, it is possible

The formation of a new ternary ion-associate complex of vanadium(V) with 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene and iodonitrotetrazolium
chloride with a composition ratio of 1:2:1 is reported. The complex is quantitatively extracted from water into chloroform.
The molar absorptivity (ɛ) of the extract at λ
max=340 nm is 2.5 × 104 dm3/mol cm, and Beer’s law is obeyed for concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 0.9 μg/cm3 V(V). The following constants are determined: the extraction constant, the association constant, the distribution constant,
and the recovery factor. The effects of foreign ions and reagents are studied. A selective and sensitive method is developed

A sensitive and selective method is described for the determination of neodymium in mixed rare earths using fourth-derivative spectrophotometry. The method is based on the absorption spectra of 4f electron transitions of the complex of neodymium with methyl thymol blue and cetylpyridinium chloride. The influence of various instrumental parameters and reaction conditions for maximum colour development are investigated. The calibration curve is linear over the range 0–3.5 g ml–1 neodymium. The relative standard deviation for determination of 1.4 g ml–1 neodymium (n = 7) is 1.6%. The detection limit (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) is 0.2 g ml–1. 相似文献
