A characterization of monomial functions

Summary The aim of this paper is to give a characterization of monomial functions with the aid of an operator introduced in Section 1. The present results were inspired by A. Dinghas [2] and A. Simon and P. Volkmann [5], who treated the characterization of polynomial functions by the so called Dinghas interval-derivatives.     

The duals of almost completely decomposable groups

In this paper, we classify the direct products of one-dimensional compact connected abelian groups by cardinal invariants dualizing Baer’s classification theorem of completely decomposable groups. Almost completely decomposable groups are finite rank torsion-free abelian groups which contain a completely decomposable group of finite index. An isomorphism theorem for their Pontrjagin dual groups is given by using the dual concept of a regulating subgroup.     

Automatic continuity over Moore groups

LetG be a Moore group, letB be a Banach algebra, and let :L ¹(G)B be a homomorphism. We show that is continuous if and only if its restriction to the center ofL ¹(G) is continuous. As a consequence, we obtain that (i) every homomorphism fromL ¹(G) orC ^*(G) onto a dense subalgebra of a semisimple Banach algebra, and (ii) every epimorphism fromC ^*(G) onto a Banach algebra is automatically continuous.     

Infinite-dimensional flag manifolds in integrable systems

In this paper, we present several instances where infinite-dimensional flag varieties and their holomorphic line bundles play a role in integrable systems. As such, we give the correspondence between flag varieties and Darboux transformations for the KP hierarchy and the nth KdV hierarchy. We construct solutions of the nth MKdV hierarchy from the space of periodic flags and we treat the geometric interpretation of the Miura transform. Finally, we show how the group extension connected with these line bundles shows up at integrable deformations of linear systems on ¹().

Lie-Poisson groups: Remarks and examples

The aim of this Letter is twofold. On the one hand, we discuss two possible definitions of complex structures on Poisson-Lie groups and we give a complete classification of the isomorphism classes of complex Lie-Poisson structures on the group SL(2, ). On the other hand, we give an algebraic characterization of a class of solutions of the Yang-Baxter equations which contains the well-known Drinfeld solutions [1]; in particular, we prove the existence of a nontrivial Lie-Poisson structure on any simply connected real semi-simple Lie Group G. 烯烃在USY沸石表面上化学反应热的量热测定

1.前言 在多相催化研究工作中,测定反应物分子在固体催化剂表面上化学吸附时产生的反应热,或者说化学吸附热,对研究催化剂的性质和反应物的表面化学反应都很有帮助。但是目前尚无有效的方法测定它。本文用吸附量热法测定了烯烃在USY沸石表面的吸附热,并提出了一种化学吸附热的估算方法。     

Highly active and reusable heterogeneous catalysts for acylation of anisole

In the present study, non-conventional solid acid catalysts such as NaY, metal ion exchanged zeolite NaY (Zn²⁺, Fe³⁺, Ce³⁺, La³⁺ and Nd³⁺), H-mordenite, H-β and HZSM-5 were used in order to overcome the disadvantages of conventional Friedel-Crafts catalysts for the acylation of anisole with acetic anhydride. Among the various zeolites studied, the HY zeolite shows an intermediate activity. Zeolite containing transition metal ions (Zn²⁺ and Fe³⁺) are less active and zeolite NaY is nearly inactive. The catalysts exhibit the activity in the order H-β>transition metal ions (Zn²⁺ and Fe³⁺)>HY>NaY zeolite. The highest catalytic activity of H-β could be due to its larger pore size. The type of acidity and the acid strength in zeolite Y were determined by FTIR and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) studies on the pyridine adsorbed catalysts. The correlation of catalytic activity with acidity reveals that Brönsted acid sites in zeolite promote the acylation of anisole.     

NaBr/KY催化剂在甲苯氧化甲基化反应中的稳定性

考察了NaBr/KY催化剂的甲苯氧化甲基化(OMT)反应的稳定性，经过50 h的OMT反应结果表明，在反应初期，甲苯转化率、总C8选择性均有不同程度的下降，之后趋于稳定.在总C8产物中，苯乙烯的选择性随着反应的进行呈下降趋势，而乙苯的选择性与苯乙烯相比呈相反的变化趋势.此外，利用XRD、骨架IR、XPS对反应前后的催化剂结构进行了研究，发现催化剂经过50 h的OMT反应，分子筛的结构遭到了部分破坏，但其基本骨架仍保留.
