An efficient hybrid uncorrelated wall plane waves–boundary element method (UWPW-BEM) technique is proposed to predict the flow-induced noise from a structure in low Mach number turbulent flow. Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are used to estimate the turbulent boundary layer parameters such as convective velocity, boundary layer thickness, and wall shear stress over the surface of the structure. The spectrum of the wall pressure fluctuations is evaluated from the turbulent boundary layer parameters and by using semi-empirical models from literature. The wall pressure field underneath the turbulent boundary layer is synthesized by realizations of uncorrelated wall plane waves (UWPW). An acoustic BEM solver is then employed to compute the acoustic pressure scattered by the structure from the synthesized wall pressure field. Finally, the acoustic response of the structure in turbulent flow is obtained as an ensemble average of the acoustic pressures due to all realizations of uncorrelated plane waves. To demonstrate the hybrid UWPW-BEM approach, the self-noise generated by a flat plate in turbulent flow with Reynolds number based on chord Rec = 4.9 × 105 is predicted. The results are compared with those obtained from a large eddy simulation (LES)-BEM technique as well as with experimental data from literature.  相似文献

We propose a nonlinear concealing–restoring system (CRS) set on the data link layer of the open-systems-interconnection (OSI) reference model to secure the data on physical layer. CRS conceals those data by disturbing them with some random noises, and restores the data from the concealed ones to the original ones by the noise elimination based on a proper stochastic filtering theory.  相似文献

A trash rack is used to obstruct dirt in a flow. As it is on the outside of the hull of a ship, such flow-induced noise cannot be ignored. This paper focuses on a hydrodynamic noise study of the trash rack installed on the inlet of pipelines to estimate the noise produced by the turbulent flow. A hybrid method of combining Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) and the Lighthill’s acoustic analogy theory simulate the flow-induced noise for a three-dimensional pipeline. The results of the simulation agree well with the experimental results available in the open literature. Following this, the hydrodynamic noise of flow through a three-dimensional pipeline with different types of trash racks is studied in order to determine the best form. For this objective, the flow and sound properties in different simulation models are analyzed and a low noise type of trash rack is proposed based on some general indexes.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Wong–Zakai approximations given by a stationary process via the Wiener shift and their associated dynamics of a class of stochastic evolution equations with a multiplicative white noise. We prove that the solutions of Wong–Zakai approximations almost surely converge to the solutions of the Stratonovich stochastic evolution equation. We also show that the invariant manifolds and stable foliations of the Wong–Zakai approximations converge to the invariant manifolds and stable foliations of the Stratonovich stochastic evolution equation, respectively.  相似文献

A novel room-temperature microbolometer array chip consisting of an Nb5N6 thin film microbridge and a dipole planar antenna, which is used as a terahertz (THz) detector, is described in this paper. Due to the high-temperature coefficient of the resistance of the Nb5N6 thin film, which is as high as -0.7% K-1 , such an antenna-coupled microbolometer is ideal for detecting signals in a frequency range from 0.22THz to 0.33THz. The dc responsivity, calculated from the measured I-V curve of the Nb5N6 microbolometer, is about -760 V/W at a bias current of 0.19mA. A typical noise voltage as low as 10 nV/Hz 1/2 yields a low noise equivalent power (NEP) of 1.3×10-11W/Hz 1/2 at a modulation frequency above 4kHz, and the best RF responsivity, characterized using an infrared device measuring method, is about 580V/W, with the corresponding NEP being 1.7×10-11W/Hz 1/2 . In order to further test the performance of the Nb5N6 microbolometer, we construct a quasi-optical type receiver by attaching it to a hyperhemispherical silicon lens, and the result is that the best responsivity of the receiver is up to 320V/W. This work could offer another way to develop a large scale focal-plane array in silicon using simple techniques and at low cost.  相似文献
