catalytical amounts of Ru3(CO)12 leads to the formation of two heterocyclic products. One of the products is a chiral γ-lactam, the other one a 2,3-disubstituted
pyrrole derivative, in which only the carbon atom from carbon monoxide is incorporated. The selectivity in the formation of
the products may be controlled by the choice of solvent. In general, in nonpolar solvents the formation of the lactam is preferred
whereas the use of more polar solvents enhances the yield of the pyrrole. For most of the solvents used there is a linear
dependence of the product ratio on the relative permittivity of the corresponding solvent. Typically, polar aprotic solvents

Conversion of sulphur compounds in reduced, contaminated sediments that are brought in upland conditions may largely affect the potential mobility of heavy metal contaminants. We applied selected methods for the determination of total sulphur and sulphur fractions in a contaminated sediment in the reduced state and after gradual drying and oxidation during 1 month. Dry ashing, followed by ion chromatographic detection, was reliable for the determination of total sulphur. Good recoveries were obtained in both reference samples and spiked samples. Total sulphur was 14.5±0.6 g kg−1 relative to dry sediment. Wet chemical methods that involve the determination of acid-volatile, Zn–HCl-reducible, chromium-reducible, acetone-soluble and HI-reducible sulphur were used to estimate specific sulphur forms. Results for acetone-soluble sulphur were to high and not consistent with results for other fractions. Major part of sulphur in the sediment (90%) was inorganic. Sulphides were converted partially to sulphate and to intermediary oxidised sulphur compounds upon oxidation of the sediment. The results suggested that the intermediary oxidised sulphur pool in the reduced sediment (2.5 g kg−1) mainly consisted of pyrite, that was not converted during drying and oxidation. A solvent venting technique for injection of volumes up to 1 μl on 50 μm i.d. SFC columns has been compared to direct injection methods. The peak broadening and peak splitting observed with direct injection have been examined and found to be related to the starting pressure, the column temperature, and the sample solvent, in addition to the sample volume. The solvent venting technique removed peak splitting and improved the column efficiency. With a proper selection of experimental conditions, the sample recovery was 100%. The major part of the solvent was eluted in 15–20 s. Several applications have been demonstrated. 相似文献

The separation of diastereomeric esters derived from (±)-pyridylethanols and 3β-acetoxyetienic acid were achieved by an extraction technique using diethyl ether and aqueous hydrochloric acid. A formal total synthesis of PNU-142721 was effectively carried out to prepare the chiral, non-racemic synthon 1-furo[2,3-c]pyridin-5-yl-ethanol (1) by means of this technique. The effect of water on the conformational preferences of acetylcholine has been studied within the discrete, the continuum and the combined discrete-continuum models described in parts I and II of this series. All the models lead to the conclusion that the trans-gauche form which is, following refined quantum-mechanical computations, the intrinsically preferred one and the one observed in the crystal of acetylcholine and of a number of analogues should remain also the preferred conformation in water. This result agrees with NMR studies. The results of the empirical discrete model used here compare favorably to those obtained by an ab initio super-molecule treatment. The scope of this work is the development of a rapid, reliable and sensitive method for the analysis of organochlorine pesticides from soils by pressurized liquid extraction (PLE). The effect of four parameters (temperature, pressure, static time and cell volume) on the extraction efficiency was studied. The great extracting power of the PLE causes the extraction of numerous interfering substances, so a more efficient purification of this extract was necessary. In this work several sorbents have also been assayed to carry out the purification of soil samples: Florisil, silica, alumina, carbon, as well as combinations of them. Finally, the proposed analytical method was validated using a certified reference soil material (CRM804-050) and the results were compared with those obtained by other extraction techniques (Soxhlet and microwave-assisted extraction). 相似文献

A simple electrostatic analysis is given of the virtual charge (solvaton) model to represent the environment effect on the electronic wave function of a solute immersed in a polarizable surrounding. New features of this model are found. The classical aspects are discussed and secondly the quantal implications are considered. A correct Hartree-Fock-like operator is derived which represents an electron in a molecular orbital subjected to the average effect of the other electrons and to the reaction field produced by the virtual charges on the atomic centers.A general formalism based on the preceding model is presented in appendix. The final equations have a form similar to Newton's equation to represent a solvated electron. Unlike some other theories in this field, there is no cut-off involved in the evaluation of the molecular integrals. 相似文献
