The equilibrium molalities In3+ in {In2(SO4)3 + Na2SO4 + HDEHMTPCA + n-C8H18 + water} were measured at ionic strength from (0.1 to 2.0) mol · kg−1 containing Na2SO4 as supporting electrolyte in aqueous phase and at constant molality extractant at temperatures from (278.15 to 303.15) K in organic phase. The standard extraction constants K0 at various temperatures were obtained by methods of extrapolation and polynomial approximation. A review of sample preparation methods for organic acids in biological fluids, in particular serum and urine, is presented. It covers techniques on organic acid determination without sample preparation, release of organic acids from binding locations, removal of proteins by protein precipitation and ultrafiltration, isolation of the organic acids by liquid-liquid and liquid-solid extraction, purification of the extract, derivatization and pre-fractionation. The various alternative sample preparation steps are compared and critically discussed. Examples of applications including profile analysis of organic acids by gas chromatography (GC), determination of particular organic acids by GC or liquid chromatography and determination of fatty acids as a distinct chemical class of acids demonstrate that the kind of sample preparation chosen depends strongly on the analytical aims. 相似文献

Two-stage dilute acid pretreatment followed by enzymatic cellulose hydrolysisis an effectivemethod for obtaining high sugar
yields from wood residuessuchassoftwood forest thinnings. In the first-stage hydrolysis step, most of the hemicellulose is
solubilized using relatively mild conditions. The soluble hemicellu losic sugars are recovered from the hydrolysateslurry
by washing with water. The washed solids are then subjected tomoresevere hydrolysis conditions to hydrolyze approx 50% of
the cellulose to glucose. The remaining cellulose can further be hydrolyzed with cellulase enzyme. Our process simulation
indicates that the amount of water used in the hemicellulose recovery step has a significan tim pact on the cost of ethanol
production. It is important to keep water usage as low as possible while mainta ining relatively high recovery of solublesugars.
To achieve this objective, a prototype pilot-scale continuous countercurrent screw extractor was evaluated for the recovery
of hemicellulose from pretreated forest thinnings. Using the 274-cm (9-ft) long extractor, solubles recoveries of 98, 91,
and 77% were obtained with liquid-to-insoluble solids (L/1S) ratios of 5.6, 3.4, and 2.1, respectively. An empirical equation
was developed to predict the performance of the screwextractor. This equation predicts that soluble sugar recovery above 95%

On the basis of a better analytical exploitation of acid-induced cloud point approach, a systematic study on the phase behaviour of acid aqueous solutions of anionic surfactants and factors affecting anionic surfactant-mediated extractions was performed. The anionic surfactants investigated were alkylsulphonates (ASS) with alkylchain lengths comprised between 8 and 16 carbon atoms. The critical hydrochloric acid concentration (minimal acid concentration required to separation in two liquid phases) was found to increase as alkylchain length of the anionic surfactant increased from 10 to 14. Non-acid-induced liquid-liquid phase separation was observed for sodium octanesulphonate (SOS) or sodium hexadecyl sulphonate (SHS) in the hydrochloric concentration range 0-10 M. Acid aqueous solutions of sodium decylsulphonate (SDeS) and sodium dodecylsulphonate (SDoS) separated into two liquid phases at temperatures ranging between 10 and 80 °C, while temperatures >35 °C were required for sodium tetradecylsulphonate. The influence on extraction efficiency and concentrating ability of experimental variables such as hydrophobicity and concentration of surfactant, nature and concentration of analyte, hydrochloric acid concentration, time and temperature of extraction and time of equilibration and centrifugation was examined. Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADESs) are defined as mixtures of certain molar ratios of natural compounds such as sugars, organic acids, amino acids, and organic bases that are abundant in organisms. The melting points of these mixtures are considerably lower than those of their individual ingredients and far below ambient temperature. The first publications on the NADES concept in 2011 created a great expectation regarding their potential as green solvents that could replace conventional organic solvents in a wide range of applications. This was largely because many of the drawbacks of conventional synthetic ionic liquids (ILs) and deep eutectic solvents (DESs), particularly their toxicity and environmental hazards, could be solved using NADESs. Throughout the last 7 years, the interest in NADESs has increased enormously as reflected by the exponential growth of the number of related publications. The research on NADESs has rapidly expanded particularly into the evaluation of the feasibility of their application in diverse fields such as the extraction of (targeted) bioactive compounds from natural sources, as media for enzymatic or chemical reactions, preservatives of labile compounds, or as vehicles of non–water-soluble compounds for pharmaceutical purposes. Along with the exploration of these potential applications, there have been a large number of other studies related to their physicochemical features, the search for new NADESs, the research into the interactions between NADES components or with solutes, the recovery of solutes from NADES solutions, and the ways of circumventing inherent problems of NADESs such as their high viscosity and the consequent difficulties in handling them. A new method of indirect determination of ascorbic acid with ammonium sulfate and ethanol by extraction and flotation of copper in the presence of thiocyanate has been studied in this paper. The study shows that a small amount of Cu(II) is reduced to Cu(I) by ascorbic acid, then Cu(I) precipitates with SCN?. In the course of phase separation of ethanol from water, the precipitated CuSCN is extracted and stays in the interface of ethanol and water. A good linear relationship is observed between the extraction yield of Cu(II) and the amount of ascorbic acid. The detection limit for ascorbic acid is 1 10?5 M. Every parameter has been optimized and the reaction mechanism has been studied. The method is simple, rapid (5 min) and suffers from few interferences of common anions and cations. It has been successfully applied for the determination of ascorbic acid in pharmaceuticals and fruits. 相似文献
