The tripyrrin carboxylic acid6 exhibits a pronounced efficiency for carrier mediated proton driven secondary active transport (counter transport) for a series of toxic or valuable cations in a bulk chloroform membrane. In case of Zn++ ions the mechanism including complete concentration profiles forNerst diffusion layers and bulk phase have been established. This compound might be used for detoxification or enrichment of precious metals using membrane separation systems.

As the application of a dielectric theory proposed previously (J Membrane Sci 64:153–161 (1991)), theoretical formulation and the practical procedure of dielectric analysis are developed to calculate the structural parameters such as the conductivity gradient and the thickness of the concentration polarization layer, the capacitances and the conductances of the two adjoining aqueous phases from the observed dielectric parameters. The procedure of calculation consequent upon the theoretical formulation was applied to double relaxation data observed for cation-exchange membrane systems under application of d.c. bias voltage. As a consequence, the structural parameters of concentration polarization were readily obtained with accuracy.  相似文献

采用室温固化硅橡胶及其它三种改性硅氧烷聚合物制成渗透汽化膜,分离丙酮(A),丁酮(B)、乙醇(E)及异丙醇(P)等有机物的水溶液。结果表明,随着透过温度提高、透量成指数关系增大,但对分离系数影响甚小。透量大小顺序为A>B>E>P,分离系数大小顺序为A>B>P>E,当膜材料中(CH_3)_2SiO链节含量由70%上升到100%时,有机物的透量及分离系数同时增加。  相似文献

New polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) containing 18-membered crownethers and dialkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid are proposed for Sr2+ and Pb2+removal from nitric acid solutions. The influence of source phasecomposition and stripping agents was characterized and permeabilitycoefficients were calculated. The PIMs are easy to prepare and may be usefulin separation and concentration procedures for these cations from complexmixtures such as nuclear waste. Long-term stability was obtained for atleast several weeks of constant use during which no significant change ofpermeability was observed.  相似文献

以交联甘油环氧树脂交联的聚乙烯醇(PVA)为笼树脂,羧甲基壳聚糖(CCTS)为蛇树脂制备了具有蛇笼结构的复合螯合膜,研究了其对Cu^2 、Ni^2 、Pb^2 、Fe^3 、Zn^2 ,Hg”^2 、Cd^2 等金属离子的吸附性能,研究表明,该树脂对Cu^2 、Ni^2 、Pb^2 有较好的吸附性能,其中PVA是对Cu^2 的吸附的主要贡献者,而CCTS则是在对Ni^2 的吸附中起主要作用。该树脂可以用于含Cu^2 废水的处理。  相似文献

A set of coupled equations is given which determines the distributions of the electric potential and counterions in a system of two interacting identical ion-penetrable membranes of thickness d at separation h immersed in a salt-free medium containing only counterions. The solution to these coupled equations also gives the electrostatic repulsive force between the membranes. It is shown that the interaction force remains finite at h-->0, unlike the case of the interaction between two planar charged surfaces (d-->0), and that the interaction force becomes independent of the membrane fixed charge and membrane thickness d at very large h. Finally, an approximate single transcendental equation giving the solution to the coupled equations is derived.  相似文献

Solid electrolyte membrane reactors (SEMRs) have been used to both study and influence catalytic reaction rates. Methane coupling is the reaction most thoroughly and intensively studied in these membrane reactors. In the last 20 years, oxygen ion (O2−), proton (H+) and mixed (O2−-e, H+-e) conducting membranes have been tested in order to maximize the conversion of methane to C2 compounds. The present review contains the fundamental operating principles of the various SEMR types and their applications in this reaction. The difficulties that should be overcome in order to promote this SEMR process to an industrial scale are discussed.  相似文献

Developing a low-cost and effective proton-conductive electrolyte to meet the requirements of the large-scale manufacturing of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells is of great significance in progressing towards the upcoming “hydrogen economy” society. Herein, utilizing the one-pot acylation polymeric combination of acyl chloride and amine precursors, a polyamide with in-built -SO3H moieties (PA-PhSO3H) was facilely synthesized. Characterization shows that it possesses a porous feature and a high stability at the practical operating conditions of PEM fuel cells. Investigations of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements revealed that the fabricated PA-PhSO3H displays a proton conductivity of up to 8.85 × 10−2 S·cm−1 at 353 K under 98% relative humidity (RH), which is more than two orders of magnitude higher than that of its -SO3H-free analogue, PA-Ph (6.30 × 10−4 S·cm−1), under the same conditions. Therefore, matrix-mixed membranes were fabricated by mixing with polyacrylonitrile (PAN) in different ratios, and the EIS analyses revealed that its proton conductivity can reach up to 4.90 × 10−2 S·cm−1 at 353 K and a 98% relative humidity (RH) when the weight ratio of PA-PhSO3H:PAN is 3:1 (labeled as PA-PhSO3H-PAN (3:1)), the value of which is even comparable with those of commercial-available electrolytes being used in PEM fuel cells. Additionally, continuous tests showed that PA-PhSO3H-PAN (3:1) possesses a long-life reusability. This work demonstrates, using the simple acylation reaction with the sulfonated module as precursor, that low-cost and highly effective proton-conductive electrolytes for PEM fuel cells can be facilely achieved.  相似文献
