The object of thie paper is to review shortly some recent advances In UV dye lasers.     

Indium-mediated allenylation of arylacyl bromides in a route for the synthesis of substituted furans

A three-step, single purification procedure has been developed for the concise synthesis of substituted furans from arylacyl bromides.     

A facile and efficient method for synthesis of β-iodocarboxylates from terminal epoxides

A facile and efficient method has been developed for synthesis of β-iodocarboxylates in the presences of Ph₃P/I₂. Starting from epoxides, a series of β-iodocarboxylate compounds can be directly obtained in toluene media with excellent yields. Moreover, the method was successfully applied for the late-stage modification of natural products, such as isosteviol and vincamine derivatives, achieving the corresponding β-iodocarboxylates in good yields.     

Co-cross-linking of bio-based multi-functional epoxide and bisphenol A diglycidyl ether with 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole

A co-cross-linking reaction of bio-based multi-functional epoxides (1) derived from limonene oxide and bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BPADE) in the presence of 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole (EMI) as a cross-linker afforded the corresponding network copolymers (2) having the 10% thermal decomposition temperature (T_d10) of 294.4?°C at maximum. Adhesive strength induced by 1, especially tetra-functional epoxide, and BPADE exhibited remarkably higher than that by BPADE alone.     

Les Sels de Bismuth (III) Comme Catalyseurs Dans la Reaction D'ouverture Des Epoxydes Par Les Amines

BiCl 3 and Bi (OTf) 3 catalyze the opening of epoxides ( 1-7 ) by amines ( 8-12 ). High regioselectivities are observed. BiCl 3 et Bi (OTf) 3 catalysent la réaction d'ouverture des époxydes ( 1-7 ) par les amines ( 8-12 ). La réaction est fortement régiosélective.     

NEW APPROACHES TO THE SYNTHESIS OF ORGANOPHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS

Abstract

The past two decades have brought us a snowballing development of organophosphorus chemistry. Indeed organophosphorus compounds have found wide practical application (in agriculture, petroleum industry, as drugs, etc.) and continue to afford promising objects for the study of theoretical matters such as tautomerism, ambiphilicity, ambidenticity, and other problems of organic chemistry. On the other hand, however impressive this progress may be, the search for new methods of synthesis, improving the known methods and forecasting new types of organophosphorus compounds remain as challenging problems as before.     

Silica‐Bound 3‐{2‐[Poly(ethylene Glycol)]ethyl}‐Substituted 1‐Methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium Bromide: A Recoverable Phase‐Transfer Catalyst for Smooth and Regioselective Conversion of Oxiranes to β‐Hydroxynitriles in Water

A series of β‐hydroxynitriles were efficiently synthesized from the regioselective ring opening of oxiranes by cyanide anion in the presence of silica‐bound 3‐{2‐[poly(ethylene glycol)]ethyl}‐substituted 1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium bromide (SiO₂? PEG? ImBr) as a novel recoverable phase‐transfer catalyst in H₂O (Scheme 1 and Table 2). The workup procedure was straightforward, and the catalyst could be reused over four times with almost no loss of catalytic activity and selectivity.     

The first stereoselective synthesis of dendrodolide A

The first stereoselective total synthesis of natural product, dendrodolide A (1) is described from readily available (R)-propylene oxide and 3-buten-1-ol as starting materials. The synthesis was achieved in 10 steps with an overall yield of 19.1%. The key steps involved in the synthesis are Jacobsen hydrolytic kinetic resolution, epoxide ring opening with 2-allyl-1, 3-dithiane, Yamaguchi esterification, and ring-closing metathesis (RCM).     

超临界二氧化碳中马来酸锌催化合成环状碳酸酯

在超临界二氧化碳中, 利用马来酸锌催化二氧化碳与环氧化物反应合成环状碳酸酯. 单独使用马来酸锌作为催化剂时, 对二氧化碳与环氧丙烷反应的催化活性较低, 而在DBU、DMAP、三乙胺、吡啶、咪唑或4-氨基吡啶等有机碱的存在下, 反应活性较高, 产物的收率得到明显提高. 有机碱作用的强弱顺序为DBU>Et3N>咪唑>4-氨基吡啶>DMAP>吡啶. 在压力为8 MPa, 温度110 ℃, 反应时间48 h条件下, 马来酸锌与DBU组成的二元催化系统可以催化二氧化碳与环氧丙烷反应, 得到83.4%产率的碳酸丙烯酯. 该二元系统也能催化其它环氧化物高产率地转化为相应的环状碳酸酯.     

Radical reactions on pinene-oxide derivatives induced by Ti(III)

A practical, brief and selective synthesis of several pinene oxide derived terpenoids can be achieved from readily available starting materials. The key step is a radical reaction promoted by titanocene chloride.
