Bee venom (BV) is one of the most remarkable natural products that has been a subject of studies since ancient times. Recent studies have shown that Apis mellifera syriaca venom possesses antibacterial as well as cytotoxic effects on cancer cell lines. The venom contains a variety of bioactive molecules—mainly melittin (MEL) and phospholipase A2 (PLA2), as well as other compounds that are not well characterized. In this work, we continue the biological characterization of A. mellifera syriaca venom by testing its anticoagulant effect on human plasma using the prothrombin time (PT) test, as well as assessing its proteolytic activity. In addition, the cytotoxicity of the crude venom—and of its two main components, MEL and PLA2—was tested on HeLa cancer cell lines for the first time. The results obtained showed the capacity of A. mellifera syriaca venom to increase clotting time, thereby proving its anticoagulant effect. Moreover, the venom did not demonstrate a significant proteolytic activity unless administrated at concentrations ≥ 5 mg/mL. Finally, we showed that crude A. mellifera syriaca venom, along with MEL, exhibit a strong in vitro cytotoxic effect on HeLa cancer cell lines, even at low concentrations. In summary, our findings could serve as a basis for the development of new natural-based drug candidates in the therapeutic field.  相似文献

MoTe2是一种非空间反演对称性半导体,由线性偏振光照射,在无偏压条件下可以直接产生光电流,但是非常微弱.掺杂可以改变电子能带结构和降低空间反演对称性,从而有效的增强光电流.本文基于非平衡格林函数-密度泛函理论,采用第一性原理,计算了本征、Nb掺杂、Ti掺杂和W掺杂2H-MoTe2的能带结构、透射谱和光电流.能带结构表明:Nb掺杂使半导体2H-MoTe2能带穿越费米能级,转变为金属特性;Ti和W掺杂减小了2H-MoTe2的带隙,能带没有穿越费米能级,依然为半导体.掺杂都降低2H-MoTe2的反演对称对称性,从本征的D3h转变为Cs.从而在线偏振光的照射下可以有效的提高2H-MoTe2的光电流.同时,发现掺杂可以提高单层2H-MoTe2在低光子能量下的消光比,如Nb和Ti掺杂单层2H-MoTe2分别在光子能量1.1 eV和1.2 eV处取得39.48和28.48的高消光比...  相似文献

A bifurcating system subject to multiplicative noise can exhibit on–off intermittency close to the instability threshold. For a canonical system, we discuss the dependence of this intermittency on the Power Spectrum Density (PSD) of the noise. Our study is based on the calculation of the Probability Density Function (PDF) of the unstable variable. We derive analytical results for some particular types of noises and interpret them in the framework of on-off intermittency. Besides, we perform a cumulant expansion (N. G. van Kampen, 24, 171 (1976).) for a random noise with arbitrary power spectrum density and we show that the intermittent regime is controlled by the ratio between the departure from the threshold and the value of the PSD of the noise at zero frequency. Our results are in agreement with numerical simulations performed with two types of random perturbations: colored Gaussian noise and deterministic fluctuations of a chaotic variable. 报道了一种由纤芯直径分别为15 μm和25 μm的大模场光纤组成的全光纤脉冲放大器模块。当注入脉冲宽度为10 ns,重复频率为1 Hz,光谱宽度为0.3 nm,脉冲能量为80 nJ的激光脉冲时,经过两级放大输出的激光脉冲峰值功率为30 kW,单脉冲能量为300 μJ。此外,实验研究了该放大器模块输出的时间特性。研究发现:由于受激布里渊散射(SBS)效应,限制了单纵模光纤激光在光纤中的高能量放大,采用宽带激光脉冲可以有效地抑制SBS效应,提高光纤放大器的SBS阈值。  相似文献

Quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) is a fundamental quantum transport phenomenon in condensed matter physics. Until now, the QAHE has only been experimentally realized for Cr/V-doped (Bi, Sb)2Te3 but at an extremely low observational temperature, thereby limiting its potential application in dissipationless quantum electronics. By employing first-principles calculations, we study the electronic structures of graphene co-doped with 5d transition metal and boron atoms based on a compensated np co-doping scheme. Our findings are as follows: i) The electrostatic attraction between the n- and p-type dopants effectively enhances the adsorption of metal adatoms and suppresses their undesirable clustering. ii) Hf-B and Os-B co-doped graphene systems can establish long-range ferromagnetic order and open larger nontrivial band gaps because of the stronger spin-orbit coupling with the non-vanishing Berry curvatures to host the high-temperature QAHE. iii) The calculated Rashba splitting energies in Re–B and Pt–B co-doped graphene systems can reach up to 158 and 85 meV, respectively, which are several orders of magnitude higher than the reported intrinsic spin-orbit coupling strength.  相似文献

We consider a set of coupled underdamped ac-driven dynamical units exposed to a heat bath. The coupling scheme defines the absence/presence of certain symmetries, which in turn cause a nonzero/zero value of a mean dc-output. We discuss dynamical mechanisms of a dc-current appearance and identify current reversals with synchronization/desynchronization transitions in the collective ratchet's dynamics.  相似文献

A technology of obtaining the single-phase ceramic samples of La1−xKxMnO3 manganites and the dependence of their structural parameters on the content of potassium has been described. Magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in the obtained samples has been measured by two independent methods: classical direct methodic and a method of magnetic field modulation. The values of MCE obtained by both methods substantially differ. The explanation of the observed divergences is given. The correlation between the level of doping and MCE value has been defined. The value of TC determined by the MCE maximum conforms with the literature data obtained by other methods.  相似文献
