Algebraic Multigrid Preconditioning for Finite Element Solution of Inhomogeneous Elastic Inclusion Problems in Articular Cartilage 下载免费PDF全文
In studying biomechanical deformation in articular cartilage, the presence of
cells (chondrocytes) necessitates the consideration of inhomogeneous elasticity
problems in which cells are idealized as soft inclusions within a stiff extracellular matrix.
An analytical solution of a soft inclusion problem is derived and used to
evaluate iterative numerical solutions of the associated linear algebraic
system based on discretization via the finite element method, and use of an
iterative conjugate gradient method with algebraic multigrid preconditioning (AMG-PCG).
Accuracy and efficiency of the AMG-PCG algorithm is compared to two other
conjugate gradient algorithms with diagonal preconditioning (DS-PCG) or a
modified incomplete LU decomposition (Euclid-PCG) based on comparison to the analytical solution.
While all three algorithms are shown to be accurate, the AMG-PCG algorithm
is demonstrated to provide significant savings in CPU time as the number of nodal unknowns is increased.
In contrast to the other two algorithms, the AMG-PCG algorithm also
exhibits little sensitivity of CPU time and number of iterations to
variations in material properties that are known to significantly affect model variables.
Results demonstrate the benefits of algebraic multigrid preconditioners
for the iterative solution of assembled linear systems based on finite
element modeling of soft elastic inclusion problems and may be particularly
advantageous for large scale problems with many nodal unknowns. 相似文献

为了提高聚氨酯(PU)合成革透湿性,分别使用343 nm飞秒激光和作为对比的1030 nm飞秒激光及1064 nm纳秒激光制备微孔阵列。采用扫描电镜(SEM)和3D激光扫描显微镜对比研究了微孔形貌。结果表明,343 nm飞秒激光可以制备出效果最佳的微孔。此外,分析了3种激光与PU涂层的作用机理,揭示了343 nm飞秒激光合成革微钻孔过程仅表现为光化学烧蚀,光化学和光热烧蚀同时发生于1030 nm飞秒激光钻孔过程,而1064 nm纳秒激光只显示了光热烧蚀。激光合成革表面钻孔后,测量其透湿性和抗张力。结果显示: 微孔密度越大,皮革透湿性(WVP)越大而抗张力越低,脉冲重叠的增加会导致WVP的增加和抗张力的下降;同时,随着脉冲重叠从91.7%降到50%,微孔直径从45 μm降低到30 μm,而微孔锥度从0.7°增加到12.1°;当脉冲重叠率为91.7%,微孔密度为2550/cm2时,最大的WVP增长率为306%。 相似文献

Inulin, rice bran oil and rosemary essential oil were used to produce high quality emulsion filled gel (EFG) using ultrasonic radiation. Response surface methodology was used to investigate the effects of oil content, inulin content and power of ultrasound on the stability and consistency of prepared EFG. The process conditions were optimized by conducting experiments at five different levels. Second order polynomial response surface equations were developed indicating the effect of variables on EFG stability and consistency. The oil content of 18%; inulin content of 44.6%; and power of ultrasound of 256 W were found to be the optimum conditions to achieve the best EFG stability and consistency. Microstructure and rheological properties of prepared EFG were investigated. Oil oxidation as a result of using ultrasonic radiation was also investigated. The increase of oxidation products and the decrease of total phenolic compounds as well as radical scavenging activity of antioxidant compounds showed the damaging effect of ultrasound on the oil quality of EFG. 相似文献

空间外差干涉光谱技术是近年发展起来的新型静态超分辨光谱分光技术, 仪器线型函数是其基本性能参数之一, 代表了仪器的光谱分辨能力, 需要精确表征。在分析仪器线型函数影响因素(切趾、有效视场角与离轴像元效应)以及测量方法与测量光源等特殊性要求基础上, 提出了一种可调波长单色面光源的全新测量方法, 并利用可调谐激光器与消散斑积分球等设备搭建了测量实验装置。在仪器线型函数测量实验中, 通过选取光谱范围内的典型谱段进行高光谱(0.1 nm步长)扫描, 经过干涉数据误差修正、光谱复原以及坐标归一化等数据处理过程, 获取了仪器线型函数的能量分布形式。此外, 利用全光谱范围内扫描的干涉数据, 得到仪器线型函数的全峰半宽随波长的变化规律曲线。最后, 将本方法获取的实测仪器线型函数与模拟光谱(LBL计算)进行卷积获取理论谱, 并与地基探测实验获取的实测大气CO2吸收光谱进行比对分析, 两者吻合一致, 验证了本方法获取的仪器线型函数具有较高的精度。 相似文献

Results of stable isotope measurements (δ2H, δ18O) of daily grab samples, taken from the Danube River at Tulln (river km 1963) during 2012, show seasonal and short-term variations depending on the climatic/hydrological conditions and changes in the catchment area (temperature changes, heavy rains and snow melt processes). Isotope ratios in river water clearly reflect the isotopic composition of precipitation water in the catchment area since evaporation influences play a minor role. Average δ2H and δ18O values in 2012 are?78‰ and?11.0‰, respectively, deuterium excess averages 10‰. The entire variation amounts to 1.8‰ in δ18O and 15‰ in δ2H. Quick changes of the isotopic composition within a few days emphasise the necessity of daily sampling for the investigation of hydrological events, while monthly grab sampling seems sufficient for the investigation of long-term hydro-climatic trends. 3H results show peaks (half-width 1–2 days, up to about 150 TU) exceeding the regional environmental level of about 9 TU, probably due to releases from nuclear power plants. 相似文献
