A series of novel air-stable carbene adducts of cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines have been synthesized and characterized. The structures of these complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. These adducts have been successfully applied to the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction under aerobic conditions. Good to excellent yields were obtained in short reaction times with a lower loading of the catalyst. 相似文献

The first example of palladium-catalyzed protocol for the denitrated coupling of nitroarenes with sulfinates was developed, achieving aryl and heterocyclic sulfones in moderate to excellent yields. The cyclopalladated ferrocenylimine (I) exhibited highly catalytic activity for this transformation with low catalyst loading (0.75 mol %). The efficiency of this reaction was demonstrated by compatibility with a wide range of groups. Thus, the method represents a simple and facile procedure to access aryl and heterocyclic sulfones. 相似文献

The cyclomercurated ferrocenylimines containing heterocyclic ring can be prepared by the cyclomercuration of acylferrocene, followed by the condensation of the resulting product with the appropriate heterocyclic amine. This procedure provides an efficient method for the synthesis of cyclomerucurated ferrocenylimines containing heterocyclic ring which is difficultly synthesized by the traditional method, i.e. imination and then cyclomercuration. A series of these compounds were synthesized by this new method and characterized. The X-ray crystal structure of [HgCl(η5-C5H3C(CH3)=N-2-C5H3N-6-CH3) Fe(η5-C5H5)] (3d) has been determined and the reaction mechanism was proposed. 相似文献

AbstractTwo new ferrocenyl iminopyridyl ligands, L1 and L2, have been synthesized and characterized using spectroscopic and analytical techniques. Both ligands were used to prepare new Rh(I) and Ru(II) ferrocenyl complexes 1–4. The structures of the complexes were confirmed using 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, and infrared spectroscopy. The complexes were tested as catalysts in the hydroformylation of 1-octene. Rh ferrocenyl complexes 1 and 4 produced aldehydes under mild conditions while the Ru-ferrocenyl complexes 2 and 3 required higher temperature and pressure for effective hydroformylation to occur. The catalysts display excellent aldehyde chemoselectivity with varying regeoselectivity depending on temperature and pressure conditions employed. At high temperatures, the Rh ferrocenyl precatalysts favor formation of branched aldehydes due to increased isomerization at high temperatures. The Ru ferrocenyl precatalysts displayed less hydroformylation activity; however, the complexes show good chemoselectivity for aldehydes with no hydrogenation products formed. 相似文献

The air and moisture stable tricyclohexylphosphine (PCy3) adducts of dimeric cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines 5 and 6 have been easily synthesized and successfully used in palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling of aryl chlorides. Using 0.1 mol% of 6 in the presence of 2 equivalent of Cs2CO3 as base in dioxane at 100 °C provided coupled products in excellent yields in the reaction of non-activated and deactivated aryl chlorides with phenylboronic acid. For activated chlorides such as 4-chloronitrobenzene and 4-chloroacetophenone, the catalyst loadings could be lowered to 0.01 mol% without loss of activity. 相似文献

The Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of 3-pyridylboronic pinacol ester with aryl iodides, bromides and chlorides was carried out in DMF/H2O (3/1, v/v) at 110 °C in the presence of cyclopalladated ferrocenylimine I and K2CO3 or CsCO3 (1.0 equiv.) without the protection of inert gas. A series of novel amphiphilic ferrocenylimines and their cyclopalladated complexes of general formula [Fe(η5-C5H5)(η5-C5H4CR1NR2)] (R1=H, R2=C12H25-n4a, R1=H, R2=C16H33-n4b, R1=CH3, R2=C12H25-n4c, R1=CH3, R2=C16H33-n4d), [PdCl{[(η5-C5H5)]Fe[(η5-C5H3)CR1NR2]}]2 (5a-d), [PdCl{[(η5-C5H5)]Fe[(η5-C5H3)-CR1NR2]}(PPh3)] (6a-d), were prepared and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, IR, HRMS, and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of 5c,d were determined by X-ray crystallography. These amphiphilic cyclopalladated complexes are thermally stable and insensitive to oxygen and moisture. The redox properties of 4a-d, 5a-d, 6a-d were also investigated using cyclic voltammetric technique. Compounds 5a-d, 6a-d displayed good activity in the Heck reaction of a variety of aryl halides with ethyl acrylate or styrene and the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of aryl bromides with phenylboronic acid in bulk solution.
