The electrochemical properties of carbon paste electrodes (CPEs), including unmodified and modified with protein and polycations, were investigated by impedance spectroscopy (IS) using ferricyanide and ferrocene monocarboxylic acid (FcMA) as redox probes. Various electrochemical pretreatments were applied to the unmodified CPE. The heterogeneous charge transfer rate constant of ferro/ferricyanide couple is enhanced by 2 to 10 times compared with that obtained at untreated electrodes. It was found that for ferricyanide the more suitable pretreatments are successive cyclic voltammetric scans, cathodization and a square wave-like stepping rather than high-potential anodization. However, the pretreatment only exhibits a slight effect on the kinetics of FcMA. At the CPEs containing modifier, the electron transfer rate of the redox couple depends more on the pH of electrolyte solution if ferro/ferricyanide is used. The results can be explained by the differently charged states of the CPEs that were caused by the protonation or deprotonation of the modifiers in various pH solutions and demonstrate the importance of the electrostatic interaction on the kinetics of the highly polar species such as ferricyanide. The different adsorptive behavior of ferricyanide and FcMA is also discussed.  相似文献

The investigation of the electrochemical reduction processes of C6H5SSC6H5 and C6H5SH in CH3CN using cyclic voltammetry indicates a different behavior on GC and Au electrodes. On GC surface adsorption phenomena are absent, the electrochemical reduction process is irreversible and diffusion controlled. For both the starting molecules the same species, C6H5S?, is formed upon reduction. The E° values of the reduction processes were determined by convolution method and the standard free energy of the S? S bond of C6H5SSC6H5 estimated. On Au surface instead, a self‐assembled monolayer of C6H5SAuads originated after the S? S or S? H bond breaking can be observed by simply dipping the electrode in solution of C6H5SSC6H5 and C6H5SH, respectively. The properties of the SAM were investigated by electrochemical reduction of the adsorbed thiolates. On Au electrode the reduction processes involve C6H5SAuads and give rise to desorbed C6H5S?. A neutral radical is obtained by electrochemical oxidation of thiolate anion. It reacts rapidly with the electrode surface to give the S‐Au bond again.  相似文献

Aminolysis of bicyclic carbonates, which consist of five-membered cyclic carbonate and five- or six-membered alicyclic groups, was examined. Kinetic studies revealed that the aminolysis of the bicyclic carbonate with cyclohexane ring proceeded more smoothly than that of the bicyclic carbonate with cyclopentane ring. Computational calculation suggested that the different reaction rates originate from the distinct ring-strain of the cyclic carbonate groups affected by the conformation of the alicyclic groups.  相似文献

A new synthesis of stevastelin C3 (3), a [13]-membered ring component of the stevastelin family, whose structure was recently revised, is reported. Initially, a macrolactonization approach was attempted to generate the [13]-membered macrolactone but this met with failure, so a translactonization reaction was tried to obtain the targeted stevastelin C3 (3) from the corresponding [15]-membered ring counterpart. Unfortunately, this strategy did not prove successful, and, consequently, we opted to undertake a transesterification reaction from 23, as a means to accommodate the requisite aminoacid moiety at the correct position, to obtain 24. From 24, and through intermediates 25-28, the acyclic precursor of the [13]-membered ring macrolactone, compound 30, was efficiently prepared. By utilizing the synthetic course developed by Chida, we took 30 forward and completed the total synthesis of stevastelin C3 (3).  相似文献

用循环计时电量法、循环伏安法、电化学现场(in-situ)紫外可见反射光谱技术和光电流谱技术研究了溶剂和阳离子(H~+,Li~+)对阳极氧化膜WO_3电显色稳定性和过程的影响。从循环计时电量图可以测定表征膜稳定性的氢或锂的累积量和暂态周期数。实验发现W/WO_3/LiCLO_4乙腈溶液体系具有高的电显色稳定性。引起WO_3膜可逆电显色的H~+和Li~+离子的嵌-脱过程的界面电化学机理不同。着色态WO_3膜的色心是自由电子,其密度超过10~(21)/cm~3,生色机理是等离子体振荡。  相似文献

The theory for an EC mechanism in chronopotentiometric techniques – reversal chronopotentiometry, cyclic chronopotentiometry and reciprocal derivative chronopotentiometry – is developed. The equations of this article are valid for spherical electrodes of any size and present a compact and easy‐to‐manage form. Methods for determining kinetic parameters of the chemical reaction are proposed and the influence of the electrode radius is discussed. We conclude that large errors in the determination of these parameters are committed if electrode sphericity is neglected. Reciprocal derivative chronopotentiometry has been applied in its traditional form (dt/dE vs. E), and in a more recently proposed modality consisting of plotting dt1/2/dE vs. E. These techniques are very convenient for studying an EC mechanism since the response is obtained in the form of peaks which are quantitatively related to the kinetic parameters of the chemical reaction. A comparison of the chronopotentiometric methods analyzed leads us to conclude that working curves based on the dt1/2/dE vs. E curves are more suitable to obtain accurate values of the rate constants of the chemical reaction.  相似文献

A new synthetic route for the preparation of the betain-like compound (CH3N)6P4F8 from (CH3NPF3)2,N-methyl-hexamethyldisilazane andN,N-dimethyl-urea has been found. The steps of this multi-stage reaction could be rationalized to a far extent.

An electrochemical method for the determination of the ionophores monensin and lasalocid was developed, based on the polarization of an agar gel/nitrobenzene electrolyte interface. The measured current corresponding to the facilitated ion transfer across this interface is directly proportional to the concentration of an ionophore dissolved in the organic phase. Using cyclic voltammetry in a three-electrode system the detection limit for both ionophores is about 3 × 10?5 M.  相似文献

Glassy carbon electrodes modified with (5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline)bis(bipyridine)ruthium(II) chloride hydrate, [(bpy)2Ru(5-phenNH2)]Cl2·H2O, are shown to oxidize hydrazine with excellent sensitivity. The presence of an amine group on the ruthenium complex facilitates electropolymerization onto the electrode surface. Using cyclic voltammetry, a large catalytic current is observed upon oxidation of hydrazine in phosphate buffer (pH 5.0), compared to the current obtained from the ruthenium-modified electrode with no hydrazine present. The sensitivity of cyclic voltammetry is sufficient for obtaining a linear calibration curve for hydrazine over the range of 10−5 to 10−2 M. Hydrodynamic amperometry was used to determine the working potential for flow injection analysis. The limit of detection for hydrazine was determined to be 8.5 μM using FIA. The thickness of these films was shown to increase linearly with the number of electropolymerization cycles, in the range of 1000-2500 nm for 5-20 cycles, respectively, using Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS). RBS analysis also suggests that the film is multilayered with the outermost layers containing a high ruthenium concentration, followed by layers where the concentration of ruthenium decreases linearly and approaches zero at the electrode surface.  相似文献

The cyclic voltammetric behavior of carbon paste electrodes modified by direct admixing with the products of the reactions between ethanedial (glyoxal) and 5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline at 100°C and that of their iron(II) complexes is reported. The ligand(s) produced in absence of iron(II) are able to complex iron(II) and copper(II) ions reversibly, but other ions such as nickel(II), cobalt(II), cadmium(II) and manganese(II), if complexed, show no electrochemical activity. Admixing with the products of the reaction in the presence of excess of iron(II) ion, because of high insolubility and fast electron exchange, produces surfaces useful for amperometric detection in continuous-flow systems. The voltammetric and amperometric behavior in the presence of HSO?3 ions is reported in order to illustrate this application.  相似文献
