The reaction of bromazepam (7‐bromo‐1,3‐dihydro‐5‐(2‐pyridyl)‐2H ‐1,4‐benzodiazepin‐2‐one, BZM) with Cr(III) ( 1 ), Fe(III) ( 2 ) and Ru(III) ( 3 ) salts gives complexes of the type [M(BZM)3]⋅3X (X = Cl or NO3). Structural characterization was extensively carried out using various analytical and spectral tools such as infrared, 1H NMR and UV–visible spectroscopies and magnetic, conductance, elemental and thermal analyses. BZM is a bidentate ligand and interacts with the metal ions via the pyridine and benzodiazepin‐2‐one nitrogen atoms. The magnetic and electronic properties of 2 and 3 are consistent with low‐spin octahedral complexes. The three BZM molecules are non‐isoenergetically coordinated to the metal ions and this is reflected in the values of the second‐order interaction energy. The antibacterial activity was studied using Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli . Coordination of BZM to Cr(III) or Ru(III) ions leads to a marked increase in toxicity with respect to the inactive Fe(III) complex 2 . 相似文献

This review summarizes the recent progress of copper-catalyzed asymmetric Henry reaction from 2011 to 2016. It has been established (AM1, PM3, RHF/6-31G**, MP2/6-31G**//RHF/6-31G**) that in the gaseous phase and in aqueous solution, the most thermodynamically stable tautomer of 2-pyrrolidone is lactame. According to PM3 evaluations with an explicit accounting for aqueous medium, the state of tautomeric equilibrium serves as a prerequisite to participation of 2-pyrrolidone's lactime tautomer (pyrroline-2-ol) in complexation with palladium(II) in aqueous solution. 2-Pyrrolidone protonation in the gaseous phase and in aqueous medium has been shown to proceed via the oxygen atom, corresponding to expectations on mesomeric displacement of electron density in the amide fragment. The aqueous medium stabilizes 2-pyrrolidone's lactime tautomer to a greater extent than for lactame, and an O-protonated cyclic amide compared to an N-protonated one. The stereodirective character of palladium(II) complexation with chloride ion and pyrroline-2-ol has been explained. The initially formed tetragonal–pyramidal adduct with an axial organic ligand rearranges into a precursor of the cis product, an intermediate with an extra coordinated axial chlorine atom. The less thermodynamically stable cis isomer of [PdCl2(pyrroline-2-ol)2] appears because its precursor is a lower energy intermediate of associative nucleophilic substitution. At a supramolecular level, cis product is capable of being stabilized by means of intermolecular dipole–dipole association in a crystal. 相似文献

Abstract . The solvothermal reaction between cuprous iodide and the rigid triangular imidazole ligand in mixed N,N′‐dimethylacetamide (DMA)‐acetonitrile solvent leads to the isolation of the 3D metal‐organic framework [(Cu4I4)3(TIPA)4] · 7DMA ( 1 ) [TIPA = tri(4‐imidazolylphenyl) amine], which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Topologically, the structure of 1 is an unprecedented 3,3,4,4‐connected net with a point symbol of {4.8.10}2{4.82}2{42.82.102}2{84.122}. Compound 1 exhibits orange‐red photoluminescence with an emission maximum at 622 nm at room temperature. 相似文献

Seven luminescent iridium(III) complexes were prepared to investigate the relationships between chemical structures and properties of protein staining. For the first time, the effect of the main ligand, the π conjugation effect of the ancillary ligand, and the charge effect of organometallic complexes on protein staining has been revealed. Most importantly, this study gives the first experimental evidence of the potential applications of charge‐neutral organometallic complexes in protein staining, which could open an avenue of exploiting novel protein staining agents in the future. 相似文献

Novel polymer complexes of 8‐hydroxyquinoline‐5‐sulfonic acid hydrate ( H 2 L ) with Cu2+, Co2+ and Ni2+ chloride were prepared and characterized. Microanalysis, magnetic susceptibility, IR spectra, electron spin resonance, mass spectra, X‐ray, molar conductance, thermal, and UV–Vis spectra studies have been used to confirm the structure of the prepared polymer complexes. The molecular and electronic structures of the hydrogen bond conformers for ligand ( H 2 L ) were optimized theoretically and the quantum chemical parameters were calculated. On the basis of elemental and IR data, the chemical structure of metal chelates commensurate that the tri‐dentate (H2L) coordinate to metal chlorides through oxygen atom of phenolic OH and oxygen atom of SO3‐H group by replacing H atoms and nitrogen of the quinoline ring. The magnetic studies suggested the octahedral geometrical structure for all produced polymer complexes with general formula {[ML (OH2)3] .xH2O}n (M = Cu2+, x = 1.; Co2+, x = 2 and Ni2+, x = 2) in molar ratio (1:1). Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger methods have been used for calculating the activation thermodynamic parameters of the thermal decomposition for H 2 L and its polymer complexes. The interaction between H 2 L and its transition metal complexes with the calf thymus DNA (CT‐DNA) was determined by UV–Vis spectra. Binding efficiency between H 2 L with the receptors of the prostate cancer (PDB code 2Q7L Hormone) and the breast cancer (PDB code 1JNX Gene regulation) was studied by molecular docking. The inhibition behaviour of H 2 L against the corrosion of carbon steel / HCl (2 M) solution was studied by weight loss, Tafel polarisation, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM) techniques. The adsorption isotherm was found to be Friendlish isotherm. The morphology of inhibited carbon steel? s surface was studied using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS). 相似文献
