Optimal design of a convergent-barrel cold spray nozzle by numerical method

A convergent-barrel (CB) cold spray nozzle was designed through numerical simulation. It was found that the main factors influencing significantly particle velocity and temperature include the length and diameter of the barrel section, the nature of the accelerating gas and its pressure and temperature, and the particle size. Particles can achieve a relatively low velocity but a high temperature under the same gas pressure using a CB nozzle compared to a convergent-divergent (CD) nozzle. The experiment results with Cu powder using the designed CB nozzle confirmed that particle deposition can be realized under a lower gas pressure with a CB nozzle.     

Structure of enantiopure and racemic alanine adlayers on Cu(1 1 0)

Plane wave density functional theory has been employed to analyze the structure of alanine adlayers on the Cu(1 1 0) surface. Alanine forms (3 × 2) adlayers on Cu(1 1 0) that are closely related to the structures of glycine on the same surface. There is essentially no energy difference between the most stable racemic and enantiopure alanine adlayers. This observation implies that adsorption of racemic alanine on Cu(1 1 0) will result in a pseudoracemate adlayer.     

沉积铁钝化膜的傅立叶变换表面增强拉曼光谱

利用恒电流沉积技术、傅立叶变换表面增强拉曼散射技术现场研究了0 1mol/LNaOH溶液中铁金属电极在不同电位下的表面氧化物的组成。结果表明,在电极预钝化区,表面首先生成的Fe(OH)2可由拉曼谱图中出现的550cm-1表征,证实了以往的研究结果。进入钝化区,表面二价氧化物逐步转化为高价氧化物Fe3O4及α 、δ 和γ FeOOH。在电位回扫的过程中,各氧化产物的还原以及铁表面SERS活性的逐渐消失导致谱峰强度降低。     

生物小分子与铜锌超氧化物歧化酶相互作用的波谱学研究及其应用

本工作以ESR和NMR为主要手段,并结合其它生化方法,考察了氨基酸、核酸碱基、糖等生命基本物质,和抗坏血酸等生命必需物质与钢锌超氧化物歧化酶的相互作用,实验观测到氨基酸、核酸碱基和抗坏血酸在水溶液中可以与酶中的Cu²⁺作用而使其脱离活性部位,以小分子络合物形式游离在溶液中,同时使酶失活,脱离活性部位的Cu²⁺的比例和酶的失活程度取决于小分子配体的加入量及其与Cu²⁺的络合能力。此外,首次尝试使用ESR方法,并借助氨基酸与酶的作用,考察了铜锌超氧化物歧化酶在盐酸胍变性和热变性过程中的构象变化行为,结果表明这一方法是直观而有效的。     

Converged properties of clean metal surfaces by all-electron first-principles calculations

All-electron full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave calculations of the surface energy, work function, and interlayer spacings of close-packed metal surfaces are presented, in particular, for the free-electron-like metal surfaces, Mg(0 0 0 1) and Al(1 1 1), and for the transition metal surfaces, Ti(0 0 0 1), Cu(1 1 1), Pd(1 1 1), and Pt(1 1 1). We investigate the convergence of the surface energy as a function of the number of layers in the slab, using the Cu(1 1 1) surface as an example. The results show that the surface energy, as obtained using total energies of the slab and bulk from separate calculations, converges well with respect to the number of layers in the slab. Obviously, it is necessary that bulk and surface calculations are performed with the same high accuracy. Furthermore, we discuss the performance of the local-density and generalized gradient approximations for the exchange-correlation functional in describing the various surface properties.     

Heterogeneous intermolecular hydroamination of terminal alkynes with aromatic amines

Heterogeneous intermolecular hydroamination of alkynes with aromatic amines using inexpensive transition metal-exchanged clay catalysts was investigated. Reaction of terminal alkynes with aromatic amines gave higher yields of imines.     

meso-四(4-乙酰氧基苯)卟啉-铜(Ⅱ)-乳化剂OP体系荧光熄灭法测定微量铜(Ⅱ)的研究

本文研究了高灵敏的meso-四(4-乙酰氧基苯)卟啉[T(4-AOP)P]-铜(Ⅱ-乳化剂OP体系。在酸度为pH5.0～5.6范围内形成的三元络合物可引起T(4-AOP)P-OP荧光强度的定量熄灭,其Ex=413nm,EM=656.9nm,Cu(Ⅱ)浓度在0～0.150μg/ml范围内有良好的线性关系,回归方程F=25.51-8.45m,试验了14种离子的干扰影响,并用此法测定了小球藻中Cu的含量,回收率达96～104％。     

Electrode “edge effects” analyzed by the Green function method

An exact method based on Green's equation is used to find the diffusion-controlled faradaic current for certain electrode geometries that incorporate edges and vertices. Thereby the magnitudes of the time-independent current density associated with angled electrode/electrode and electrode/insulator junctions are calculated. As well, the square-root-of-time-dependent currents associated with vertices, receive attention. These terms extend to longer times, the Cottrell formulation appropriate for short times. Though most of the problems solved here have been tackled previously, the novel Green function approach is shown to be straightforward and intuitive.     

Preparation of a cyclodextrin dimer linked with a bis(picolinyl)cystine moiety and its intra- and intermolecular inclusion behavior

A novel cyclodextrin (CD) dimer linked with a bis(picolinyl)cystine (Cys) moiety was prepared by the coupling of Boc-protected Cys with amino-modified CDs, followed by deprotection of the Boc groups and bispicolinylation. The dimer showed less affinity to an organic guest molecule compared to that of a native CD monomer. It was attributed to an intramolecular inclusion of the pyridine moiety into CD cavity. The dimer caused significant increase of its organic guest affinity by an addition of a copper ion. The included pyridine group may come out of a CD cavity to bind the copper ion and the two CDs included cooperatively and intermolecularly a guest molecule with high affinity.
