Solid-state fermentation of coconut oil cake has been carried out with Rhizopus oligosporus for the production of phytase. Phytase is used commercially in the animal feed industry to improve animal performance because there is a substantial and growing interest among swine and poultry producers in the application of phytase to improve the nutritional quality in animal feeds. Demonstrated benefits include improved feed yield ratios and reduction in the environmental costs associated with the disposal of animal wastes. We report the production of extracellular phytase by R. oligosporus under solid-state fermentation using coconut oil cake as substrate. Maximal enzyme production (14.29 U/g of dry substrate) occurred at pH 5.3, 30°C, and 54.5% moisture content after 96 h of incubation. The addition of extra nutrients to the substrate resulted in inhibition of product formation. The results indicate the scope for production of phytase using coconut oil cake as solid substrate without additional nutrients.  相似文献

Studies were carried out in a packed-bed column fermentor using coffee husk as substrate in order to verify a relationship between caffeine degradation and the respiration of Aspergillus sp. LPBx. Fermentation conditions were optimized by using factorial design experiments. The kinetic study showed that the caffeine degradation was related to the development of mold and its respiration and also with the consumption of reducing sugars present in coffee husk. From the values obtained experimentally for oxygen uptake rate and CO2 evolved, we determined a biomass yield of 3.811 g of biomass/g of consumed O2 and a maintenance coefficient of 0.0031 g of consumed O2/(g of biomass·h). The maximum caffeine degradation achieved was 90%.  相似文献

Direct detection of free induction decays and electron spin echoes, and the recording of echo-detected EPR spectra and electron spin echo envelope modulation patterns at a microwave frequency of 2.5 GHz is demonstrated. This corresponds to the measurement of the transverse magnetization in the laboratory frame, rather than in the rotating frame as usually done by down-converting the signal (homodyne detection). An oscilloscope with a 6-GHz analog bandwidth, a sampling rate of 20 GigaSamples per second, and a trigger frequency of 5 GHz for the edge trigger and 750 MHz for the advanced trigger, is used in these experiments. For signal averaging a 3-GHz microwave clock divider has been developed to synchronize the oscilloscope with the frequency of the EPR signal. Moreover, direct detection of continuous wave EPR signals at 2.5 GHz is described.  相似文献

Applicability of continuous wave multiquantum EPR methods to study relaxation times at X-band is examined. Multiquantum transitions excited in a two-level system by tetrachromatic irradiation are used for these studies. The Bloch equation model is applied to simulate lineshapes of the three quantum transitions as a function of frequency difference between exciting fields. The dependence of multiquantum transition signals on relaxation times and microwave amplitude is shown. On this basis a method of deducing relaxation times from these signals is formulated. The case of a homogeneously and inhomogeneously broadened resonance line is considered. Two experimental methods are used to verify the proposed hypothesis: the X-band continuous wave multiquantum EPR with four frequencies microwave field and saturation recovery EPR. The values of T1 obtained from CW MQ EPR and SR EPR are compared.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a new class of continuous location problems where the distances are measured by gauges of closed (not necessarily bounded) convex sets. These distance functions do not satisfy the definiteness property and therefore they can be used to model those situations where there exist zero-distance regions. We prove a geometrical characterization of these measures of distance as the length of shortest paths between points using only a subset of directions of their unit balls. We also characterize the complete set of optimal solutions for this class of continuous single facility location problems and we give resolution methods to solve them. Our analysis allows to consider new models of location problems and generalizes previously known results.  相似文献

It is well-known that some of the classical location problems with polyhedral gauges can be solved in polynomial time by finding a finite dominating set, i.e. a finite set of candidates guaranteed to contain at least one optimal location.In this paper it is first established that this result holds for a much larger class of problems than currently considered in the literature. The model for which this result can be proven includes, for instance, location problems with attraction and repulsion, and location-allocation problems.Next, it is shown that the approximation of general gauges by polyhedral ones in the objective function of our general model can be analyzed with regard to the subsequent error in the optimal objective value. For the approximation problem two different approaches are described, the sandwich procedure and the greedy algorithm. Both of these approaches lead - for fixed - to polynomial approximation algorithms with accuracy for solving the general model considered in this paper.  相似文献

Invariance principle states that a scaled simple random walk converges to the standard Brownian motion.In this article, we present a discrete time stochastic process, which reflects a microstructure of market dynamics, and prove a convergence to a scaling limit process with a drift term and a jump term. These terms are derived from a macroscopic condition on volumes traded in some time intervals. The mathematical tools for obtaining our results are Dobrushin-Hryniv theory and the method of cluster expansion developed in mathematical studies of statistical mechanics.  相似文献
