Comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatographic separation by means of a combination of ion-exchange chromatography (IEC)
and reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) has been realized and applied to the analysis of components of a traditional
Chinese medicine Flos Lonicera. In the first dimension the components of a Flos Lonicera extract is separated on strong anion-exchange (SAX) column according to the charge-exchange properties of the components.
In the second dimension the components are further fractionated by reversed-phase liquid chromatography (on ODS) on the basis
of their hydrophobicity. The RPLC effluent is desalted and split and the components are identified on-line by use of both
diode-array detection and mass spectrometry with atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI–MS). In this way, the extract
of Flos Lonicera can be rapidly separated, desalted, and analyzed, with determination of molecular weight. More than 58 components of an extract

1,3-Oxazolidines were easily obtained by condensation of N-substituted (R)-phenylglycinol with aldehydes. Addition of organolithium reagents to 1,3-oxazolidines by complexation with the bulky Lewis acid aluminum tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide) (ATPH) readily produced the corresponding chiral amines with good yield and high diastereoselectivity. The configuration of the new stereogenic center was shown to be opposite to that of adducts obtained for the same 1,3-oxazolidines using Grignard reagents. The best diastereoselectivity was achieved using N-isopropyl-1,3-oxazolidines. The mechanism of addition was deduced by determining the stereochemistry of the iminium-aluminum complex by NOE experiments. 相似文献

A series of calixcrown ethers for which the cavity size of the crown ring is varied from crown-6 to crown-7 to crown-8 were examined for the transport abilities toward alkali metal ions. These ligands were incorporated into supported liquid membranes (SLMs) and into polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) composed of cellulose triacetate (CTA) as a support and 2-nitrophenyl octyl ether (NPOE) and tris(2-butoxyethyl) phosphate (TBEP) as a plasticizer. In both membrane systems, calixcrown-6 showed the best selectivity toward a cesium ion over other alkali metal ions. The low prediction by statistical-overlap theory of the numbers of singlets and peaks in two-dimensional separations containing zones represented by either circles of small number or eccentric ellipses of any number is shown to result from use of probability expressions for unbound spaces of infinite extent. An exact theory is derived for the probability of singlet formation in a reduced two-dimensional space of unit length, width, and area. The probability is a weighted sum of the probabilities of singlet formation in the interior, edge, and corner regions of the space, which depend only on saturation. The weighting factors are the fractions of area associated with each region and depend on the number of zones, the aspect ratio, the saturation, and the ellipse's spatial orientation. The average numbers of doublets, triplets, and peaks in the space are approximated by combining these results with Roach's equations describing the clustering of circles in an unbound two-dimensional space. Simulations show that theory predicts the number of singlets, doublets, triplets, and peaks, when the number of zones is 25 or more, the aspect ratio is 100 or less, and the saturation is 2 or less. The relationship is derived between the aspect ratios of ellipses in the reduced space and actual separation space. In order to improve university laboratory teaching and practical education under the background of information technology, as well as overcome the difficulty for practical training, develop a virtual simulation experiment platform for rapid pyrolysis of natal materials and high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) detection of its components. The experiment integrates the actual operation process of the plant to produce cleaved products by rapid pyrolysis of biomass with HPLC detection. The virtual experiment is divided into biomass sample pretreatment, rapid biomass pyrolysis, bio-oil extraction, and HPLC determination of complex components, making the biomass cleavage workshop "real" through simulation. This virtual simulation experiment fully integrates the utilization of biomass resources and basic chemistry courses (such as organic chemistry, instrumental analysis, chemical engineering principles, etc.), which are widely involved in agricultural and forestry majors with advantageous characteristics value. 相似文献
