The molecular box [CpCo(CN)3]4[Cp*Ru]4 (Co4Ru4) reacts readily with a variety of monocations to form M⊂Co4Ru4+ (M=K+, Cs+, Rb+). Ion competition experiments, monitored by ESI-MS, show that the molecular box binds the smaller K+ more rapidly than Cs+, but that thermodynamically Co4Ru4 prefers the larger ion. The rates of ion-insertion for K+ and Cs+ into Co4Ru4 were found to qualitatively follow second order kinetics with K+, 300 M−1 s−1 and Cs+, 36 M−1 s−1. The ratio kK/kCs qualitatively matched the ESI-MS results from ion competition experiments. The rates of ion-insertion into Co4Ru4 were found to depend on the counter anions. In particular, RbBF4 reacted with Co4Ru4 more slowly than did RbOTf. The slower rates allowed us to establish second order kinetics. 1H NMR studies reveal that the Cp signal for Co4Ru4 is very sensitive to the presence of entering ions, e.g., Rb+, whereas the corresponding Cp signal for Rb⊂Co4Ru4+ was insensitive to the presence of Rb+. The molecular structures of [Co4Ru4] · 6MeCN, [K⊂Co4Ru4]BF4 · 7MeCN, [Cs⊂Co4Ru4]BF4 · 6MeCN and [Tl⊂Co4Ru4]BF4 · 6MeCN, determined by X-ray diffraction, showed that although the compounds crystallized in the same space group I23, a correlation exists between the Ru-N/Co-C bond distances and the size of the interstitial ion.  相似文献

The dinuclear complex [Co2(μ-OAc)2(OAc)2(μ-H2O)(phen)2] has been prepared and its structure was determined. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. The Co–Co distance is 3.574 Å and is similar to the Fe–Fe distance in the reduced methane monooxygenase hydroxylase. The electronic and IR spectra of the complex confirm octahedral coordination of the cobalt atoms and formation of strong O–HO hydrogen bonds in the solid state. The dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of the complex on temperature indicates an antiferromagnetic interaction, the value of the isotropic exchange parameter J was estimated to be −2.1 cm−1. The 1H NMR spectra show that in organic solvents the structure of compound is the same as in the solid state, however, in water solution the complex dissociates giving compounds with different Co:phen ratios.  相似文献

The enthalpies of solution of Co(II) and Na(I) trifluoromethanesulfonates (triflates) in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)–methanol (MeOH) mixtures have been measured over the whole range of solvent composition. From these data the enthalpies of transfer of Co(II) and triflate ions from methanol to the mixed solvent have been determined usingliterature values of the enthalpies of transfer of the Na+ ion. The results have been analyzed by means of the theory of preferential solvation. The analysis revealed the preference of DMF for solvating the Co(II) ion in the MeOH-rich region of solvent composition and the lack of preference of any component in the DMF-rich region. Visible absorption spectra of the Co(II) ion in DMF–MeOH mixtures have been also measured in the whole range of solvent composition and analyzed using the partial least-squares method. The mean composition of the solvation sphere of the Co(II) ion versus solvent composition has been determined on the basis of both analyses. The results were found to be consistent with each other and with those obtained previously from FT-IR spectra.  相似文献

Summary Potentiometric equilibrium measurements have been made for the interaction of adenosine-5-mono-,-di-, and -triphosphate, and Co(II) with biologically important secondary ligands (malic, maleic, succinic, tartaric, citric, and oxalic acid). The formation of various 1:1:1 mixed ligand complexes inferred from the potentiometric titration curves. Initial estimates of the formation constants of the resulting species and the acid dissociation constants ofAMP,ADP,ATP and the secondary ligand acids have been refined with a computer program. In some systems, the ternary complexes are found to be more stable than the corresponding binary ones. In some ternary systems studied, interligand interactions or some cooperativity between the coordinate ligands, possibly H bond formation, have been found to be most effective in deciding the stability of the complexes formed in solution. Stabilities of mixed ligand complexes increase in the orderAMP <ADP <ATP. With respect to the secondary ligands, the formation constants of the mixed ligand complexes decrease in the following order: succinic > maleic > tartaric > malic > citric > oxalic acid.
Potentiometrische Untersuchung der Bildungsgleichgewichte von binären und ternären Komplexen von Kobalt(II) mit Adenosin-5-mono-, -di- und -triphosphat und einigen biologisch bedeutenden polybasischen Sauerstoffsäuren
Zusammenfassung Die Wechselwirkung vonAMP,ADP undATP mit Co(II) und einigen biologisch interessanten Sekundärliganden (Bernsteinsäure, Hydroxybernsteinsäure, Maleinsäure, Weinsäure, Zitronensäure und Oxalsäure) wurde bei 25°C und einer lonenstärke von 0.1M KNO3 potentiometrisch untersucht. Die Titrationskurven zeigen das Vorliegen von Species der Zusammensetzung 1:1:1 an. Die geschätzten Bildungskonstanten der Komplexe und die Dissoziationskonstanten der Liganden wurden mittels eines Computerprogramms optimiert. In einigen der untersuchten Systeme sind die ternären Komplexe stabiler als die sekundären. Die Stabilität der Verbindungen hängt im wesentlichen von Interligandwechselwirkungen — möglicherweise der Ausbildung von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen — ab. Die Stabilität der Komplexe mit gemischten Liganden steigt in der ReihenfolgeAMP <ADP <ATP und fällt entsprechend der Serie Bernsteinsäure > Maleinsäure > Weinsäure > Hydroxybernsteinsäure > Zitronensäure > Oxalsäure.

研究了采用显色剂 苦胺酸偶氮变色酸对化学镀钴基合金镀液中钴含量进行测定的试验条件,在pH11的氨 氯化铵缓冲溶液中,钴与显色剂配合物的最大吸收峰在650nm波长处,钴(Ⅱ)在0~60μg/25ml范围内服从比耳定律,表观摩尔吸光系数为3.1×104L·mol-1·cm-1。该法测定钴的选择性好,在大量镍存在下,也能准确测定,对镀液样品进行了测定,相对标准偏差小于1%,结果满意。  相似文献

The multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) modified glassy carbon electrode exhibited electrocatalytic activity to the reduction of oxygen in 0.1 M HAc‐NaAc (pH 3.8) buffer solution. Further modification with cobalt porphyrin film on the MWNTs by adsorption, the resulted modified electrode showed more efficient catalytic activity to O2 reduction. The reduction peak potential of O2 is shifted much more positively to 0.12 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), and the peak current is increased greatly. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM), were used to characterize the material and the modified film on electrode surface. Electrochemical experiments gave the total number of electron transfer for oxygen reduction as about 3, which indicated a co‐exist process of 2 electrons and 4 electrons for reduction of oxygen at this modified electrode. Meanwhile, the catalytic activities of the multilayer film (MWNTs/CoTMPyP)n prepared by layer‐by‐layer method were investigated, and the results showed that the peak current of O2 reduction increased and the peak potential shifted to a positive direction with the increase of layer numbers.  相似文献

The reactions of HL 1 [where HL is 1N-(2-pyridyl-2-methyl)-2-arylazoaniline and is formulated as ArN = NC6H4N(H)(CH2C5H4N); Ar = C6H5 (for HL1) or p-MeC6H4 (for HL2) or p-ClC6H4 (for HL3)] with K2PtCl4 and Co(ClO4)3 · 6H2O afforded the (L)PtCl and [(L)2Co]ClO4 complexes, respectively. The HL ligands bind the platinum(II) and cobalt(III) centres in a tridentate (N,N,N) fashion, forming new diazoketiminato chelates upon dissociating the amino proton. The X-ray structures of (L3)PtCl and [(L3)2Co]ClO4 were determined. Redox properties of the new complexes have been examined.  相似文献

The electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrazine has been studied on glassy carbon, Pt and Au electrodes modified by cobalt hexacyanoferrate (CoHCF) using cyclic voltammetry and rotating disc techniques. It has been shown that the oxidation of hydrazine to nitrogen occurs at the potential coinciding with that of Co(II) to Co(III) transformation in a CoHCF film, where no oxidation signal is observed at a bare glassy carbon electrode. A Tafel plot, derived from RDE voltammograms, exhibits a slope of 150 mV, indicating a one-electron charge transfer process to be the rate-limiting step. The electrocatalytic efficiency of the modified electrode towards hydrazine oxidation depends on solution pH, and the optimum range was found to be located between pH 5 and pH 7. The kinetic behaviour and location of the electrocatalytic process were examined using the W.J. Albery diagnosis table, and it was concluded that the reaction has either a “surface” or a “layer” reaction mechanism. Pt- and Au-CoHCF-modified electrodes show no significant electrocatalytic activity towards hydrazine oxidation. Received: 25 April 1997 / Accepted: 12 August 1997  相似文献

The electrocatalytic oxidation of cephalexin and cefazolin has been studied at a carbon paste electrode modified with cobalt salophen (CoSal) by cyclic voltammetry. The selectivity of the carbon paste modified with CoSal in detecting cephalexin and cefazolin was examined. To suggest the electrocatalytic mechanism for electro-oxidation of cefazolin, the electrochemical behavior of ceftriaxone was investigated which has a thiol group out of the beta lactam ring. The electrocatalytic oxidation of these antibiotics is shown to be irreversible at the CoSal modified electrode. Scan rate dependence of cefazolin, which is a sulfur-containing compound, has been examined. The results indicated that the electrocatalytic oxidation of the compounds is diffusion controlled. The responses of the modified electrode were compared with those of unmodified electrode and it has shown that the modified electrode has better sensitivity than unmodified electrode to the detection of cefazolin. The overall number of electrons contributed to the oxidation of cefazolin is obtained 1 by chronoamperometry; the number of electron involved in the rate-determining step was 1. The results of differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) using the modified electrode with high sensitivity were applied for the determination of cefazolin in human synthetic serum samples. The linear range was obtained from 1 × 10−5 to 1 × 10−3 M for DPV determination of cefazolin in buffered solutions (pH 3.0).  相似文献
