A microspectroscopic study of the electronic homogeneity of ordered and disordered Sr2FeMoO6

Disordered Sr₂FeMoO₆ shows a drastic reduction in saturation magnetization compared to highly ordered samples, moreover magnetization as a function of the temperature for different disordered samples shows qualitatively different behaviours. We investigate the origin of such diversity by performing spatially resolved photoemission spectroscopy on various disordered samples. Our results establish that e_xtensive electronic inhomogeneity, arising most probably from an underlying chemical inhomogeneity in disordered samples, is responsible for the observed magnetic inhomogeneity. It is further pointed out that these inhomogeneities are connected with composition fluctuations of the type Sr₂Fe_1+x Mo_1-x O₆ with Fe-rich (x > 0) and Mo-rich (x < 0) regions. Hard collisions of spinning protons: Past,present and future

There will be a review of the history of polarized proton beams, and a discussion of the unexpected and still unexplained large transverse spin effects found in several high-energy proton-proton spin experiments at the ZGS, AGS and Fermilab. Next, there will be a discussion of present and possible future experiments on the violent elastic collisions of polarized protons at IHEP-Protvino's 70GeV U-70 accelerator in Russia and the new high-intensity 50GeV J-PARC facility being built at Tokai in Japan.     

Nondispersive two-electron wave packets in driven helium

We provide a detailed quantum treatment of the spectral characteristics and of the dynamics of nondispersive two-electron wave packets along the periodically driven, collinear frozen planet configuration of helium. These highly correlated, long-lived wave packets arise as a quantum manifestation of regular islands in a mixed classical phase space, which are induced by nonlinear resonances between the external driving and the unperturbed dynamics of the frozen-planet configuration. Particular emphasis is given to the dependence of the ionization rates of the wave packet states on the driving field parameters and on the quantum mechanical phase space resolution, preceded by a comparison of 1D and 3D life times of the unperturbed frozen planet. Furthermore, we study the effect of a superimposed static electric field component, which, on the grounds of classical considerations, is expected to stabilize the real 3D dynamics against large (and possibly ionizing) deviations from collinearity. Molecular electric field mapping of some anions and cations of 2- aminopurine and 6- thioguanine

Electric fields of the anions, cations and neutral forms of 2-aminopurine and 6-thioguanine have been mapped. Certain important features of the maps are similar to those found earlier in the neutral and ionic forms of adenine and guanine. The computed electric field patterns satisfactorily explain reactive sites and biological activity of the molecules.     

五羟色胺分子选择性电极研究

本应用自己合成的联萘２０－冠－６作为活性载体，进行了五羟色胺分子选择性电极研究。电极在１０＾－＾５－１０＾－＾２ｍｏｌ／Ｌ浓度范围内对五羟色胺具有稳定的线性响应，平均斜率为６３ｍＶ／ＰＣ，检测下限为２．７×１０＾－＾６ｍｏｌ／Ｌ。

Neue Spiroverbindungen aus Cyclophosphazenen und Cyclodi[phosphadiazan]en

New Spiro Compounds from Cyclophosphazenes and Cyclodi[phosphadiazanes] Chlorocyclophosphazenes (Cl₂P = N)₃ and (Cl₂p = N)₄ react with dihydrazidophosphoric acid derivatives in THF in the presence of triethylamine to give the spirocyclic compounds Cl₄N₃P₃(NHN(CH₃))₂P(S)OC₆H₅, Cl₆N₄P₄(NHNH)₂P(S)OC₆H₅. Constitutions have been confirmed by MS, NMR, IR and elemental analysis.
