On the Rolewicz theorem for evolution operators

We give a short proof of a generalization of the Rolewicz theorem based on the uniform boundedness principle.

     

On the stability of some integer programming algorithms

In the present paper we develop our approach for studying the stability of integer programming problems. We prove that the L-class enumeration method is stable on integer linear programming problems in the case of bounded relaxation sets [9]. The stability of some cutting plane algorithms is discussed.     

具有时滞的细胞神经网络的全局指数稳定性

利用Liapunov函数方法,结合积分不等式技巧,分析了时滞细胞神经网络的平衡点存在的唯一性和全局指数稳定性,保证时滞细胞神经网络全局指数稳定的一个新的充分判据被得到.所得判据比已有文献具有更少的限制,为实际应用提供了方便.     

Mode beating in spot-size converter lasers

An anomalous modulation in the wavelength spectrum has been observed in lasers with spot-size converters. This intensity modulation is shown to be caused by beating between the fundamental lasing mode and radiation modes in the taper. This results in a periodic modulation in the net gain spectrum, which causes wavelength jumps between adjacent net gain maxima, and a drive current dependent spectral width that is expected to affect system performance. The amplitude of this spectral modulation is reduced significantly by either using an angled rear-facet which reflects the beating radiation modes away from the laser axis, or by using a nonlinear, adiabatic taper.     

阴极还原处理对多孔硅发光性能的影响

对经过阴极还原处理后的多孔硅样片进行了光致发光测试和稳定性测试.实验结果表明这种处理能明显改善多孔硅的发光稳定性,使其表面结构更加稳定.利用原子力显微镜对不同还原时间的多孔硅微结构及形貌进行了比较,在一定范围内随着还原时间的增长多孔硅表面粗糙度增大,PL谱增强.     

OPTIMAL HARVESTING POLICY FOR INSHORE-OFFSHORE FISHERY MODEL WITH IMPULSIVE DIFFUSION

This article studies the inshore-offshore fishery model with impulsive diffusion. The existence and global asymptotic stability of both the trivial periodic solution and the positive periodic solution are obtained. The complexity of this system is also analyzed. Moreover, the optimal harvesting policy are given for the inshore subpopulation, which includes the maximum sustainable yield and the corresponding harvesting effort.     

多段构件组成的压杆平面内稳定

分析由若干段等截面或者变截面构件组成的压杆平面内稳定问题．从由三段等截面构件组成的压杆平面内稳定问题出发，对两端为变截面、中间为等截面构件组成的压杆的平面内稳定问题进行了分析，得出和两端为等截面构件情况类似的屈曲荷载计算公式．并对两端固接的情况进行了研究分析．     

LOCAL AND GLOBAL HOPF BIFURCATIONS FOR A PREDATOR-PREY SYSTEM WITH TWO DELAYS

In this paper, the Leslie predator-prey system with two delays is studied. The stability of the positive equilibrium is discussed by analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation. The direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are determined by applying the center manifold theorem and normal form theory. The conditions to guarantee the global existence of periodic solutions are given.     

Microstructure effect on microtopography of chemically etched α + β Ti alloys

Microstructure effect on chemical etching behavior of the annealed Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-3Al-2.5V titanium (Ti) alloys was compared with that of unalloyed commercially pure titanium. The microstructural evolution of structure phases after annealing the titanium and its alloys at temperature near and above β transus and followed by furnace cooling to room temperature was studied using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction techniques. The microstructure study illustrates that the heat treatment enhanced partitioning effect allows extensive formation of hemispherical and near spherical pits roughened surface to be readily acquired by chemically etching the annealed α + β titanium alloys. The kinetics of the chemical etching reaction process show a linear dependence on time. The annealed α + β titanium alloys that exhibit relatively lower weight loss and thickness reduction rate illustrate less chemical activity than the annealed unalloyed titanium.

In this article the author works with the ordinary differential equation u＂ = ｜u｜^p for some p 〉 0 and obtains some interesting phenomena concerning blow-up, blow-up rate, life-span, stability, instability, zeros and critical points of solutions to this equation.
