The solid solutions of ScBRh3-ScRh3 and CeBRh3-CeRh3 are synthesized by the arc melting method, where RBRh3 and RRh3 (R=rare earth element) have perovskite and AuCu3 type structures, respectively. The binding energy of Sc 2p3/2 for ScBxRh3 increases with the boron concentration. The Knight shift of 45Sc observed by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy decreases with increase of boron concentration. The decrement of the Knight shift corresponds the Sc 4s electron density at the Fermi level. The intensity ratio of f2f1f0 of Ce 3d XPS spectrum changes with boron concentration of CeBxRh3. It is concluded that in both cases of ScBxRh3 and CeBxRh3 the charge on the atoms on A-site changes with the concentration of the atoms on B-site, where the atoms are not directly bound.  相似文献

A new approach to the voltammetric investigation of facilitated ion transfer processes is reported. The technique uses a rotating diffusion cell approach to induce laminar flow in the organic phase of a liquid|liquid electrochemical cell. The interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES) was stabilised against rotation with either γ-alumina or a track-etched polyester membrane. The resultant voltammetry is shown to be consistent with the Koutecký–Levich equation enabling kinetic parameters associated with facilitated transfer of sodium by dibenzo-18-crown-6 across the water|1,2-dichloroethane interface to be evaluated. In particular, the use of the more hydrophilic alumina membrane permits the uncertainties regarding the use of the membrane-stabilised ITIES, namely the interfacial position, to be eliminated.  相似文献

Thermogalvanic cells(also known as thermo-electrochemical cells) that convert waste heat energy to electricity are a new type of energy conversion device. However, the electron transfer kinetics and mass transfer of redox couples have not been thoroughly studied. Here, the ion reaction and charge transport in thermogalvanic cells are investigated by electrochemical impedance analysis. We first propose the detailed impedance model followed experimental verification on three types of electrode materials. Parameters including kinetic rate constants and ion diffusion coefficients for the electrodes are obtained by fitting the impedance data. Our study shows explicitly that impedance analysis can provide useful information on selecting suitable electrode materials for thermogalvanic cells.  相似文献

The widely accepted theory concerning the electrochemical energy storage mechanism of copper hexacyanoferrate (CuHCF) for supercapacitors is that CuHCF stores charge by the reversible redox processes of Fe3+/Fe2+ couple and Cu cations are electrochemically inactive. In this work, CuHCF nanocubes (CuHCF-NC) were synthesized in the presence of potassium citrate and its electrochemical properties were tentatively studied in 1 mol/L Na2SO4 aqueous electrolyte. Good supercapacitive performance was exhibited. The combined analyses of cyclic voltammogram (CV) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) disclosed that the CuHCF nanocubes underwent the redox reactions of Fe3+/Fe2+ and Cu2+/Cu+ couples to store charges. The Cu2+/Cu+ redox couple was activated due to the strong coordination interaction between the carboxylate groups of citrate ions and surface Cu cations.  相似文献

The influence of group 15 various substituents and effect of metal centers on metal-borane interactions and structural isomers of transition metal-borane complexes W(CO)5(BH3 · AH3) and M(CO)5(BH3 · PH3) (A = N, P, As, and Sb; M = Cr, Mo, and W), were investigated by pure density functional theory at BP86 level. The following results were observed: (a) the ground state is monodentate, η1, with C1 point group; (b) in all complexes, the η1 isomer with CS symmetry on potential energy surface is the transition state for oscillating borane; (c) the η2 isomer is the transition state for the hydrogens interchange mechanism; (d) in W(CO)5(BH3 · AH3), the degree of pyramidalization at boron, interaction energy as well as charge transfer between metal and boron moieties, energy barrier for interchanging hydrogens, and diffuseness of A increase along the series A = Sb < As < P < N; (e) in M(CO)5(BH3 · PH3), interaction energy is ordered as M = W > Cr > Mo, while energy barrier for interchanging hydrogens decreases in the order of M = Cr > W > Mo.  相似文献

A comparative study on the oxidation and charge compensation in the AxCoO2−δ systems, A=Na (x=0.75, 0.47, 0.36, 0.12) and Li (x=1, 0.49, 0.05), using X-ray absorption spectroscopy at O 1s and Co 2p edges is reported. Both the O 1s and Co 2p XANES results show that upon removal of alkali metal from AxCoO2−δ the valence of cobalt increases more in LixCoO2−δ than in NaxCoO2−δ. In addition, the data of O 1s XANES indicate that charge compensation by oxygen is more pronounced in NaxCoO2−δ than in LixCoO2−δ.  相似文献

For the first time a comparative study of rhombohedral LaNiO3 and LaCuO3 oxides, using 57Fe Mössbauer probe spectroscopy (1% atomic rate), has been carried out. In spite of the fact that both oxides are characterized by similar crystal structure and metallic properties, the behavior of 57Fe probe atoms in such lattices appears essentially different. In the case of LaNi0.99Fe0.01O3, the observed isomer shift (δ) value corresponds to Fe3+ (3d5) cations in high-spin state located in an oxygen octahedral surrounding. In contrast, for the LaCu0.99Fe0.01O3, the obtained δ value is comparable to that characterizing the formally tetravalent high-spin Fe4+(3d4) cations in octahedral coordination within Fe(IV) perovskite-like ferrates. To explain such a difference, an approach based on the qualitative energy diagrams analysis and the calculations within the cluster configuration interaction method have been developed. It was shown that in the case of LaNi0.99Fe0.01O3, electronic state of nickel is dominated by the d7 configuration corresponding to the formal ionic “Ni3+-O2−” state. On the other hand, in the case of LaCu0.99Fe0.01O3 a large amount of charge is transferred via Cu-O bonds from the O:2p bands to the Cu:3d orbitals and the ground state is dominated by the d9L configuration (“Cu2+−O” state). The dominant d9L ground state for the (CuO6) sublattice induces in the environment of the 57Fe probe cations a charge transfer Fe3++O(L)→Fe4++O2−, which transforms “Fe3+” into “Fe4+” state. The analysis of the isomer shift value for the formally “Fe4+” ions in perovskite-like oxides clearly proved a drastic influence of the 4s iron orbitals population on the Fe−O bonds character.  相似文献
