The magnetic property induced by neutral Cd and S vacancies in CdS bulk and thin film are investigated, using first principles simulation. For bulk CdS, the magnetism originates from Cd, instead of S, vacancies. The ferromagnetism with a Curie temperature above room temperature can be expected. For CdS thin film, both Cd and S vacancies does not yield any magnetism at the (111) surface, while local magnetic moments at the outermost S plane of the (001) surface is ascribed to the surface effect. The ferromagnetism at S-terminated (001) surface can account for the experimental observation.  相似文献

Water-soluble cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide/zinc sulfide core/shell/shell quantum dots were synthesized in aqueous solution using trisodium citrate as modifier. The crystal structure, morphology, component, and spectral properties of cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide/zinc sulfide core/shell/shell quantum dots were characterized by X-ray power diffraction, transmission electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, infrared spectrum, ultraviolet–visible absorption spectrum, and fluorescence spectrum. The results show that the spherical citrate-modified cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide/zinc sulfide core/shell/shell quantum dots with diameter around 3.6 nm belong to the cubic zinc blende structure. The citrate-modified cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide/zinc sulfide core/shell/shell quantum dots show a narrow, symmetric, and strong fluorescence emission spectrum band with narrow full width at half maximum of 53 nm, and the fluorescence quantum yield can reach up to 37.3%. The high-quality citrate-modified cadmium selenide/cadmium sulfide/zinc sulfide core/shell/shell quantum dots with good fluorescence properties have potential for application in biological fluorescence analysis.  相似文献

用Ti/sapphire飞秒激光系统产生的100fs、800nm激光对置于水中的CdS体相材料进行烧蚀,得到了水溶性CdS纳米粒子。这种纯物理过程保证了无污染的制备环境,从而保证了所合成材料的纯洁性。通过透射电子显微镜、紫外/可见/近红外吸收光谱、室温光致发光谱的方法对CdS量子点的形貌及其光学性质进行了表征。结果表明:利用飞秒激光烧蚀法所制备的CdS量子点可直接分散在水中而且具有粒径小、分布均匀的特点;同时具有较好的胶体稳定性,可在空气中稳定存放6个月以上。飞秒激光烧蚀法所制备的CdS量子点所具有的这些性质使其在生物标记领域引起极大的兴趣,而且也为纳米材料的制备提供了新的思路。  相似文献

对硫化镉反蛋白石结构光子晶体薄膜进行了可控合成,用巯基乙酸修饰的纳米晶和P(St-MMA-SPMAP)高分子小球共组装,成功地构筑了反蛋白石结构并用于可见光光解水产氢。结果表明,在可见光(λ≥420 nm)照射下,Cd S-310反蛋白石结构薄膜的光解水产氢性能比硫化镉纳米颗粒提高了一倍。这主要是因为等级孔结构反蛋白石光子晶体特性对催化剂的光催化性能的提升:首先,反蛋白石的周期性结构增加了光子在材料中的传播,提高了催化剂对太阳光的利用率;同时,大孔孔壁是由纳米颗粒堆积而成的,在反应中提供了更多的反应活性位点;此外,孔结构有利于物质的传输和分子的吸附。  相似文献

A label-free photoelectrochemical aptasensor for the sensitive and selective determination of carcinoembryonic antigen was constructed based on a CdS quantum dot sensitized TiO2 nanotube electrode. TiO2 nanotubes with highly ordered structure and more active sites than bulk TiO2 were prepared with an electrochemical anodic oxidation process. The CdS quantum dots were immobilized on the TiO2 nanotubes using poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) as a bridge. Due to the energy level match between TiO2 and CdS, the CdS quantum dots/TiO2 nanotubes electrode exhibits excellent photoelectrochemical performance. The large surface area of the electrode also allows for capturing large numbers of aptamers. The fine photoelectrochemical performance and the large surface area of the electrode greatly enhanced the detection sensitivity. Under the optimal conditions, the prepared photoelectrochemical aptasensor presents desirable analytical properties for the determination of carcinoembryonic antigen in the range of 0.05 to 10?ng?mL?1 with a detection limit of 0.014?ng?mL?1. The application of the designed protocol was investigated by analyzing carcinoembryonic antigen in human serum samples with recoveries from 80.0 to 115.0%. This simple and sensitive method provides an alternative tool to standard biochemical assays.  相似文献

CdS semiconductor nano-films were grown on ITO glass substrates by means of chemical bath deposition (CBD), with Cd(NO3)2 as Cd ion and (NH2)2CS as S ion sources. The concentration of Cd ions, deposition temperature, deposition time and post-treatment temperature have an impact on the formation of CdS nano-films. UV-vis absorption spectrum and atomic force microscope (AFM) images indicated that the change of concentration and post-treatment temperature may adjust the band-gap of CdS to obtain stable, homogeneous and compact films. Formation mechanism of the crystal nucleus and CdS film was also discussed. Active sites on the surface of ITO are critical to the formation of the crystal nucleus and a uniform and compact CdS nano-film. Novel ternary composite photocatalysts have been successfully prepared by TiO₂ nanofibers, reduced graphene oxide, and CdS nanoparticles (TiO₂/rGO/CdS) by using electrospinning technique with easy chemical methods. The structures and their properties are examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and field-emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). The structural characterization of the composite reveals that pure TiO₂ NFs and CdS NPs crystalline very well and the reduced graphene oxide is tightly composed with TiO₂ NFs and CdS Nps. The photodegradation of methyl orange (MO) under UV light illumination is significantly enhanced compared with that of bare materials. This ternary composite degrades methyl orange within 75 min. The enhanced photocatalytic degradation performance resulted from effective separation of e–h pairs with rGO sheets and also contributed for high rate degradation efficiency. This novel ternary composite has a potential application of wastewater purification and utilization for energy conversions.  相似文献

A glass with CdS nanoparticles was used simultaneously as a matrix for Ce-doped garnet and a yellow-red phosphor to prepare luminescent glass ceramics for the sources of white light. CdS nanoparticles compensate for the unbalanced Ce3+ emission spectrum of the composite material due to the addition of a red component.
