If some ceramics, such as vinary amphorae attest the consumption and trade of wine in the Roman world, the first wine productions in Occident often stay undocumented. Chemical analysis of organic materials preserved in archaeological vessels is the only way to bring new lights about the elaboration and the consumption of this fermented beverage. To determine the preservation state of wine and other grape derivatives residues, we proceeded to in situ tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) treatment followed by thermally assisted hydrolysis and methylation—gas chromatography—mass spectrometry (THM-GC-MS). The objectives of the study were (i) the understanding of the pyrolytic mechanisms of proanthocyanidins and (ii) the assessment of the usefulness of thermochemolysis for the identification of phenolic markers from polymeric solid deposit in modern wine bottle and Roman amphorae. THM-GC-MS was revealed to be an efficient method for the characterization of fruit derivatives even if mixed with another organic material, such as pitch used to ensure the watertightness of the ceramic container. The preservation of tannins during millennia in archaeological context is here enlightened for the first time by using analytical pyrolysis. The proposed identification of vinary residues is now based on the detection of the association of more than 30 pyrolytic markers derived from di- and trimethoxylated benzenoid compounds. THM-GC-MS represents a new method for the rapid detection of wine traces in ancient ceramics, adapted to tiny samples (<0.1 mg), allowing to precise the role and function of pottery during antiquity.  相似文献

A simple extraction and rapid HPLC method, suitable to separate and quantify the isoflavonoids in soybean seeds, are proposed and discussed. The method has been applied to the separation and quantification of seed isoflavonoids in five naturally grown soy cultivars; the total amount of isoflavones ranged from 1.83 g kg–1 to 11.88 g kg–1 of fresh weight. The detection limits (200 g/kg–1), evaluated for genistein and daidzein, are presented together with a list of the soy polyphenols analysed by HPLC-DAD and HPLC-MS.  相似文献

Five hydroxyanthraquinone derivatives physcion, emodin, fallacinal, teloschistin, and 1,3-dimethoxy-8-hydroxy-6-methyl-9,10-anthraquinone were isolated from the lichen Caloplaca cerina growing in Serbia. Three anthraquinone derivatives, namely physcion, emodin, and rhein were isolated and identified from the Thai medicinal plant Cassia tora. The analytical properties of 1-phenyl-1,2-propanedione-2-oxime thiosemi-carbazone (PPDOT) are described for the first time. The reagent gives colour reactions with copper(II) and nickel(II) in sodium acetate-acetic acid buffer medium. The copper complex shows maximum absorbance at 465 nm while the nickel complex at 395 nm. Therefore, these colour reactions have been advantageously used for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of copper(II) and nickel(II) in synthetic mixture and also in edible oils and seeds.  相似文献

TS-1分子筛在H_2O_2参与的有机物分子选择氧化及环氧化反应中具有优异的催化性能,一直广受关注.目前,随着精细化工反应中大分子及液相反应的增多,目前工业上使用的微米级尺寸的沸石晶粒催化材料因其狭窄的孔道和较大的扩散阻力而越来越不能满足工业的实际生产需求与应用.小晶粒纳米沸石由于具有较大的外比表面积和较高的晶内扩散速率,因而在提高催化剂的利用率、增强大分子转化能力、减小深度反应、提高选择性以及降低结焦失活等方面均表现出优越的性能.然而,尺寸低于100 nm的沸石又存在着分离问题.因此,具有高催化活性、又能一步实现分离与回收的纳米沸石聚集体的合成,引起了人们的研究兴趣.目前可以通过使用聚苯乙烯球,球型阴离子交换树脂,硅烷化聚合物,聚合诱导胶体聚集(PICA)等实现纳米沸石聚集体材料的合成.其中采用有机硅烷化试剂来制备多级孔纳米沸石聚集体材料提供了一种新的路线.在沸石晶体表面修饰上有机硅烷化试剂,含Si–C键的有机硅烷化物种可以有效地阻止沸石颗粒的晶体生长,抑制形成大的沸石晶体,从而得到纳米粒子聚集体;同时有机硅烷化物种也对纳米沸石进行了表面改性,提高了其疏水性.特别是在有机相中硅烷化沸石可以形成小的、均匀的、聚集的疏水性的纳米沸石.同时,硅烷化试剂的本质和分子大小是沸石聚集体中多级孔大小的决定性因素.具有可调结构的多级孔沸石晶体可以通过在常规的碱性沸石合成混合物溶液中添加一个两性有机硅表面活性剂而合成.研究发现,固定在沸石纳米晶表面的机硅烷物种Si–C键能部分抑制纳米颗粒进一步聚集成较大的晶体,使用硅烷化晶种的方法可以合成具有高比表面的多级孔ZSM-5等沸石.然而,目前已报道的通过硅烷化晶种方法中得到的多级孔TS-1沸石材料的尺寸仅有100–150 nm,仍不利于分离和回收.近来桥联有机硅烷试剂进入人们的视野——通过干胶法合成多级孔β沸石,然而它们的尺寸也只有300–500 nm,反应分离和回收仍然非常困难.本文采用有机桥联硅烷化合物作为硅烷化试剂,将TS-1纳米沸石晶种或者晶体组装聚集成大的沸石聚集体.TEM和SEM结果表明,桥联有机硅烷在沸石晶体的聚集和后续的晶体生长中起到了非常有效的作用,成功地将100 nm左右的纳米沸石晶种或晶体桥联/组装成宏观大尺寸(5–40μm)的沸石聚集体.这些TS-1聚集体具有较好的机械强度,即使连续超声1 h也不会毁坏其结构,表明所得到的沸石材料可以在制备上解决分离困难并且在催化应用上容易回收.XRD,BET以及UV-Vis分析结果表明,引入在TS-1沸石晶种或者晶体溶液中有机硅烷试剂不会影响沸石的晶体结构、微孔体积以及Ti的配位状态.将H_2O_2作为氧化剂评价TS-1沸石聚集体和传统的纳米TS-1在烯烃环氧化反应中的催化性能,结果表明,硅烷化步骤对小分子己烯氧化的活性和选择性的影响不大,在环己烯大分子的氧化反应里表现出了较高的活性和选择性.  相似文献

Custard apple seed oil is a marketable product extracted from custard apple seed which is a potential agriculture waste. The present work aims to elucidate simultaneous extraction of the custard apple seed oil and proteins using three phase partitioning (TPP). The efficient oil extraction was executed by optimization of parameters including time, slurry ratio, salt concentration, and slurry to t-butanol ratio. Additionally, the application of ultrasound as process intensification tool for TPP was studied that reduces the time of conventional TPP and increases the yield by 2.53%. The work also comprises a comparative study of two modes of ultrasound application, namely ultrasound pre-treatment and simultaneous ultrasound assisted TPP. This work proves ultrasonic pre-treatment followed by TPP as a superior mode of ultrasound application that attributes 33.6 ± 0.56% (w/w) oil extraction with optimized pre-treatment time of 150 s, 30 W ultrasound power and 75% duty cycle. Extraction kinetics studied for conventional, Ultrasound assisted Three Phase Partitioning (UTPP), and Ultrasound Pre-treatment assisted Three Phase Partitioning (UPTPP) were observed to fit Peleg’s model.  相似文献

The extraction and identification of bioactive compounds from herbs is of great interest. In this study, accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) technique was used to analyze the secondary volatile profiles in Nigella sativa seeds obtained from two different origins, Egypt and Bangladesh. The main extraction parameters, including extraction temperature, pressure and static extraction time, were investigated and optimized. Identification and quantification of the major constituents in nonpolar extracts (hexane) were achieved by means of GC‐FID/GC‐MS analysis with external standards. The two seeds showed a similar variety of chemical composition; however, the secondary volatiles profile of Bangladesh seed was higher than that of the Egyptian seed. A total of 25 compounds were identified from the ASE extract under the following optimum extraction conditions: 100°C, 1500 psi and 5 min, for extraction temperature, pressure and static time, respectively. In this study a method for the determination of low concentrations of silver in waters using solid-phase extraction with a flow injection analysis system and detection by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) was developed. Moringa oleifera seeds were used as a biosorbent material. Chemical and flow variables of the on-line preconcentration system such as sample pH and flow rate, preconcentration time, eluent concentration and sorbent mass were studied. The optimum preconcentration conditions were obtained using sample pH in the range of 6.0-8.0, preconcentration time of 4 min at a flow rate of 3.5 mL min− 1, 0.5 mol L− 1 HNO3 eluent at a flow rate of 4.5 mL min− 1 and 35 mg of sorbent mass. With the optimized conditions, the preconcentration factor, precision, detection limit and sample throughput were estimated as 35 (for preconcentration of 14 mL sample), 3.8% (5.0 μg L− 1, n = 7), 0.22 μg L− 1 and 12 samples per hour, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to mineral water and tap water, and accuracy was assessed through analysis of a certified reference material for water (APS-1071 NIST) and recovery tests, with recovery ranging from 94 to 101%.  相似文献
