Nickel(II) complexes, having the general composition Ni(L)2X2, have been synthesized [where L: isopropyl methyl ketone semicarbazone (LLA), isopropyl methyl ketone thiosemicarbazone (LLB), 4-aminoacetophenone semicarbazone (LLC) and 4-aminoacetophenone thiosemicarbazone (LLD) and X=Cl-, 1/2SO(4)2-]. All the Ni(II) complexes reported here have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic moments, IR, electronic and mass spectral studies. All the complexes were found to have magnetic moments corresponding to two unpaired electrons. The possible geometries of the complexes were assigned on the basis of electronic and infrared spectral studies. Newly synthesized ligand and its nickel(II) complexes have been screened against different bacterial and fungal growth. 相似文献

A rapid, selective method that utilize 4-(2-Pyridylazo)-resorcinol (PAR)-modified nanometer SiO2 (nanometer SiO2–PAR) as a new solid-phase extractant for preconcentration of trace mercury (II) has been developed. The adsorption property
of nanometer SiO2–PAR for metal ions was studied by selectively extracting different metal ions from aqueous solutions. The results revealed
an excellent affinity of the nanometer SiO2–PAR for mercury (II) in presence of interfering metal ions at pH 4. The main parameters of solid-phase extraction such as
shaking time, elution and sample dilution effect were studied. The extractant shows rapid kinetic sorption, and the adsorption
equilibrium of mercury (II) on nanometer SiO2–PAR was achieved in less than 2 min. The adsorbed mercury (II) was easily eluted by 4 mL of 6 mol L−1 HCl. The maximum preconcentration factor was 50. The maximum static adsorption capacity was 276 μmol g−1 at pH 4. The detection limit (3σ) was 0.43 μg L−1 for cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS), and the relative standard deviation of the eight replicate determinations
was 2.4% for the determination of 2.0 μg of Hg(II) in 100 mL water sample. The method was applied to the determination of

The processes of thermal destruction of copper(II) bis(dipivaloylmethanate) (Cu(dpm)2) in the temperature range 150°–550°C were studied by using a two-temperature variant of a double chamber Knudsen cell, with mass spectrometric recording of the gas-phase composition. The temperature range of stability of the vapour of the complex in vacuum was determined, as were those of its mixtures with oxygen in different proportions. The temperature dependence of the rate constant of the thermolysis of (Cu(dpm)2) vapour was obtained. The thermal stability of Hdpm vapour and the influence of oxygen on the thermolysis of the ligand were studied.
Zusammenfassung Unter Verwendung einer Zweitemperaturenvariante der Knudsenschen Doppelkammerzelle wurde mittels MS-Untersuchung der Gasphasenzusammensetzung im Temperaturbereich 150°–550°C der thermische Abbau von Kupfer(II)-bis(dipivaloylmethanat) (Cu(dpm)2) untersucht. Es wurde der Temperaturbereich für die Stabilität der gasförmigen Komplexe in Vakuum sowie in Gemischen mit Sauerstoff in verschiedenen Verhältnissen bestimmt. Dabei wurde die Temperaturabhängigkeit der Geschwindigkeitskonstante für die Thermolyse von Cu(dpm)2 ermittelt. A simple, sensitive and rapid derivative spectrophotometric method using 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) has been developed for simultaneous determination of Co(II), Ni(II) and Fe(II) which have very similar chemical behavior and appear together in many real samples. The complexes of all these metal ions with 5-Br-PADAP were formed immediately at pH 7.0 ammonium acetate buffered solution and were stable for at least 24 h. Second derivative spectra were selected for evaluation, because working wavelength determination was more precise and spectral overlap was less than in the ordinary and first derivative spectra. Three wavelengths at which the complexes exhibit extremum 2D values for Co(II), Ni(II) and Fe(II) were selected as analytical wavelengths, i.e., 640, 600 and 740 nm, respectively. Calibration curves drawn with zero-to-peak values at mentioned wavelengths were linear between 80 and 2000 ng ml−1 for each metal ion. Concentrations of Co(II) and Ni(II) were calculated from the total 2D values and the sum of the linear equations for these three cations at 640 and 600 nm, after Fe(II) assay by making use of the 2D value at 740 nm. Limits of detection (LOD) for Co(II), Ni(II) and Fe(II) were 2.7, 13.9 and 3.0 ng ml−1, respectively. The method has been applied to tool steel and heater resistance wire samples successfully. 相似文献

Immobilized copper(Ⅱ) in organic-inorganic hybrid materials catalyzed Ar-N coupling of arylboronic acids with imidazoles has been developed. Arylboronic acids reacted with imidazoles smoothly in the presence of a 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyl functionalized silica gel immobilized copper(Ⅱ) catalyst (10 mol%) in methanol without any additives and bases. The reactions generated the corresponding cross-coupling products in good yields.
