Visible-light-initiated malic acid-promoted cascade coupling/cyclization of aromatic amines and KSCN to 2-aminobenzothiazoles without photocatalyst

By using ambient air as the oxidant and malic acid as the promoter, a practical method for the preparation of 2-aminobenzothiazoles through visible-light-initiated cascade reaction of aromatic amines and KSCN in eco-friendly bis(methoxypropy)ether under metal-, hazardous additive-, photocatalyst-free conditions was established.     

复叠系统低温级制冷剂的循环性能对比实验

通过实验测试,比较了不同冷凝温度和蒸发温度下复叠系统低温级常用制冷工质R13、R23、R503和RS08B的COP、压比及制冷量等循环性能,又结合各制冷工质的环境性能、热工性能,分析了现有常用复叠系统低温级制冷工质各自的优缺点,为新工质的开发及进一步的制冷性能对比实验工作提供了有益的帮助.     

Rhodium Enalcarbenoids: Direct Synthesis of Indoles by Rhodium(II)‐Catalyzed [4+2] Benzannulation of Pyrroles

Disclosed herein is the design of an unprecedented electrophilic rhodium enalcarbenoid which results from rhodium(II)‐catalyzed decomposition of a new class of enaldiazo compounds. The synthetic utility of these enalcarbenoids has been successfully demonstrated in the first transition‐metal‐catalyzed [4+2] benzannulation of pyrroles, thus leading to substituted indoles. The new benzannulation has been applied to the efficient synthesis of the natural product leiocarpone as well as a potent adipocyte fatty‐acid binding protein inhibitor.     

Enantioselective solvent-free Robinson annulation reactions

The enantioselective cyclization of the prochiral cyclic substrates1 to7 and26, can be carried out in theneat using S-proline as catalyst. The substrates18 to22 and27 could not be cyclized with S-proline but could be cyclized with a mixture of S-phenylalanine and d-camphorsulphonic acid. The enantioselective cyclization of prochiral acyclic triones45 and47 and also the racemic tricarbonyl compounds54 to57 could also be carried out in theneat using S-proline as catalyst. The optically active enediones obtained in the above cyclizations could also be obtained directly from 1,3-diones or 2-hydroxymethylene cycloalkanones in a one-pot reaction with methyl vinyl ketone (MVK) and S-proline in the absence of solvents.¹³C NMR studies of the one-pot synthesis ofS-11 andS-14 reveal that the annulations involve initial formation of an acid-base complex followed by a Michael reaction and then an enantioselective cyclization. Such enantioselective cyclizations probably occur on the surface of S-proline crystals.     

Variations on the warped deformed conifold

The warped deformed conifold background of type IIB theory is dual to the cascading SU(M(p+1))×SU(Mp) gauge theory. We show that this background realizes the (super-)Goldstone mechanism where the U(1) baryon number symmetry is broken by expectation values of baryonic operators. The resulting massless pseudo-scalar and scalar glueballs are identified in the supergravity spectrum. A D-string is then dual to a global string in the gauge theory. Upon compactification, the Goldstone mechanism turns into the Higgs mechanism, and the global strings turn into ANO strings. To cite this article: S.S. Gubser et al., C. R. Physique 5 (2004).

La configuration de fond pour la théorie de type IIB donnée par le conifold voilé déformé est duale à la cascade de théorie de jauge SU(M(p+1))×SU(Mp). Nous montrons que cette configuration donne une réalisation du mécanisme de (super-)Goldstone où la symètrie baryonique U(1) est brisée par la valeur moyenne dans le vide des opérateurs baryoniques. Les boules de glue pseudo-scalaires et scalaires de masse nulle résultantes sont identifiées dans le spectre de supegravité. Une D-corde est alors duale à une corde globale dans la théorie de jauge. Après compactification, le mécanisme de Goldstone devient un mécanisme de Higgs, et une corde globale devient une corde ANO. Pour citer cet article : S.S. Gubser et al., C. R. Synthesis of Polysubstituted Quinolines Using Cyanuric Chloride as a Catalyst Under Aqueous Conditions

A mild, eco‐friendly and efficient route for the synthesis of quinolines and polycyclic quinolines via Friedländer annulation using cyanuric chloride as a catalyst under aqueous conditions is described.
