The aim of this study is to investigate the leaky and non-leaky behaviours of guided waves, between the composite skin and the core in CF/EP sandwich structures, focusing on the fundamental symmetric like and anti-symmetric like guided wave modes and Rayleigh waves. In investigating the core effect on the guided wave propagation different types of cores are used, namely Nomex honeycomb (HRH 10 1/8-3) 10 and 20 mm in thickness and foam (Divinycell®  PVC). The behaviour of the guided wave modes is characterised and the conversion mechanism to the Rayleigh wave is investigated. Further, leaky and non-leaky behaviours of guided waves upon interacting with debonded areas are explored, where the ability of guided waves to identify debonding of different sizes was assessed. Finite element analysis simulations are presented to support the experimental analysis, where propagation of ultrasonic waves and their interaction with debonded areas are quantitatively examined.  相似文献

In this research, a new fluorinated diamine based on 2,2′‐substituted 1,1′‐binaphthyl units, 2,2′‐bis(2‐amino‐4‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl (AFPBN) was synthesized and then used to prepare the corresponding ortho‐linked poly(ether‐imide)s via chemical polyimidization with several aromatic carboxylic dianhydrides. The resulting poly(ether‐imide)s were fully characterized by FT‐IR, NMR, viscosity measurements, gel‐permeation chromatography, UV–vis, X‐ray diffraction, organo‐solubility, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry. Probing optical behavior of the colorless films prepared from these poly(ether‐imide)s demonstrated that they possess a high degree of optical transparency, and UV–visible absorption cut‐off wavelength values were found to be in the range of 404–471 nm. The resulting polymers exhibited excellent organo‐solubility in polar solvents such as dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, pyridine, and even tetrahydrofuran. To investigate the heat stability of the samples, their thermograms obtained from TGA were plotted, and for example, it is found that the 10% weight loss temperature of representative polymer AFPBN/3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride occurred at 532°C in nitrogen. These poly(ether‐imide)s had glass‐transition temperatures (Tg's) up to 280°C. Two previously prepared analogues of AFPBN, i.e. nonfluorinated diamine DAM1 and para‐linked fluorinated diamine DAM2 used to prepare the corresponding poly(ether‐imide)s, were also considered to compare the results obtained. We present calculated results of photoionization cross sections and photoelectron angular distributions for ionization out of the five outermost valence orbitals of CF4 for photon energies ranging from near threshold to 55 eV. The Schwinger variational iterative method, using an exact static-exchange plus a model correlation–polarization potential, is applied to obtain the continuum photoelectron orbitals. The quantitative agreement between our calculated results and the experimental data is fair. Moreover, our study is capable of identifying most structures seen in experimental results for both cross sections and asymmetry parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the fracture process of a unidirectional CF/SiC single edge-notched beam (SENB) under three-point bending (TPB) is studied by means of macro/micro-statistical Monte Carlo simulation. The simulatedP-Δ curves are in agreement with the experimental results before the peaks of curves, and the simulated microevolution patterns are in agreement with the patterns of the crack surfaces, which have verified this method. It is preliminarily demonstrated that the second turning point in the compliance changing rate curve corresponds to the fracture initiation for experiments on SENB under TPB of unidirectional CF/SiC composites.  相似文献

采用灵敏区尺寸为φ60mm, 厚度1000μm的大面积电流型厚PIN半导体探测器+聚四氟乙烯片+PA101低噪声放大器, 构建了灵敏度为10-11C.cm2,具有显著统计增强效应的夹层高灵敏PIN探测阵列. 采用Monte-Carlo数值模拟方法, 研究了该探测阵列的统计增强效应和对γ射线探测灵敏度. 该阵列在极低强度脉冲γ射线探测中具有明显的统计增强效应, 且能量响应平坦, 单个阵列探测范围可达7个量级, 其γ灵敏度比直径为φ20mm, 厚度为250μm的单个PIN探测器高4个量级并可进行直接标定, 是低强度裂变n/γ混合场脉冲γ射线波形面积测量较理想的探测器, 已在有关科学实验中获得成功应用.  相似文献

In this work, ozone modification method and air‐oxidationwere used for the surface treatment of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)‐based carbon fiber. The surface characteristics of carbon fibers were characterized by XPS. The interfacial properties of carbon fiber‐reinforced (polyetheretherketone) PEEK (CF/PEEK) composites were investigated by means of the single fiber pull‐out tests. As a result, it was found that IFSS (interfacial shear strength) values of the composites with ozone‐treated carbon fiber are increased by 60% compared to that without treatment. XPS results show that ozone treatment increases the amount of carboxyl groups on carbon fiber surface, thus the interfacial adhesion between carbon fiber and PEEK matrix is effectively promoted. The effect of surface treatment of carbon fibers on the tribological properties of CF/PEEKcomposites was comparativelyinvestigated. Experimental results revealed that surface treatment can effectively improve the interfacial adhesion between carbon fiber and PEEK matrix. Thus the wear resistance was significantly improved. CF_3I是公认的用以代替SF6的新型环保绝缘气体,其在外电场中的具体性质的研究至关重要.利用密度泛函理论(DFT),在B3LYP/DGDZVP基组水平上,从分子结构角度研究了CF_3I气体在外电场(-0. 02 a. u.~0. 02 a. u.)作用下的光谱特征和解离特性.计算结果表明,沿C至I方向的电场增强时:C-I键键长单调增大,能隙E_g单调减小;分子总能量先增大后减小,偶极矩先减小后增大;费米能级EF单调减小,但当电场增至C至I方向0. 010 a. u.时,费米能级EF出现局部极大值.外电场对分子红外光谱的影响表现为:沿C至I方向电场强度增大时,四个振动频率红移(包括最高峰),其余两个蓝移.分子的解离特性表现为:沿C至I方向强度超过0. 025 a. u.的电场可使C-I键断裂.以上结果为CF_3I或其与其混合物在外电场下的特性研究提供了参考.  相似文献
