The capillary gas chromatography of the C2-C5 lower aliphatic aldehydes (e.g.,acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, n- and i-butyraldehydes, n- and i-valeraldehydes) which, in the free form in air, have unpleasant odors and low threshold odor values, has been studied using cold-trap preconcentration with liquid oxygen. New organohalogermanes RGe(OCH2CH2NMe2)2X (R = Ph, X = I (5); R = Me, X = Cl (6) or I (7)) with an intramolecular N→Ge coordination bond were synthesized. According
to the 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic data, iodides 5 and 7 exist in solution as ionic compounds with the pentacoordinated germanium atom. In
solution of compound 4 (R = Ph, X = Cl), there is an equilibrium between the ionic and covalent forms. The equilibrium shifts
toward the ionic form with increasing solvent polarity or temperature. In solution, chloride 6 is a covalent compound. The
structures and relative stabilities of different isomers of compounds 4–7 were studied by quantum chemical calculations at
the density functional level of theory.

A new method was developed for the synthesis of silicon-and germanium-containing acetylfurans and acetylthiophene by metallation
of 2-acetylfuran or 2-acetylthiophene with n-BuLi at low temperature after protection of the carbonyl group with lithium N-methylpiperazide
and reaction of the lithium derivative with various trialkyl-, alkylphenyl-, and cycloalkylchlorosilanes or trialkylchloro(bromo)germanes.
The cytotoxic activity of the new compounds was studied, and it was established that the silicon-and germanium-containing
acetylfurans and acetylthiophenes are substances with low toxicity (LD50 312->2000 mg/kg) and have low cytotoxicity toward HT-1080 and MG-22A tumor cells.

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations are used to study the strength of the CH…O H‐bond in the proton transfer reaction of glycine. Comparison has been made between four proton transfer reactions (ZW1, ZW2, ZW3, SCRFZW) in glycine. The structural parameters of the zwitterionic, transition, and neutral states of glycine are strongly perturbed when the proton transfer takes place. It has been found that the interaction of water molecule at the side chain of glycine is high in the transition state, whereas it is low in the zwitterionic and neutral states. This strongest multiple hydrogen bond interaction in the transition state reduces the barrier for the proton transfer reaction. The natural bond orbital analysis have also been carried out for the ZW2 reaction path, it has been concluded that the amount of charge transfer between the neighboring atoms will decide the strength of H‐bond. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR chemical shifts for a variety of novel quinoxalines were determined by different 2D methods and were calculated using the GIAO DFT approach. Comparison with experimental data shows good correlations in the case of (1)H, (13)C and (15)N chemical shifts. Different combinations of basis sets were tested. In non-polar solvents quinoxalines exist as dimers owing to strong hydrogen bonding. Calculations for dimers improve the correlation between experiment and theory. Additive empirical methods for estimating chemical shifts have drawbacks and have to be used with a great care for this type of compound. 相似文献

Pd-catalyzed homo- and cross-couplings of boronic acids and aryl halides were successfully carried out both in aqueous media under high-intensity ultrasound (US) and in DME under microwave (MW). Heterogeneous catalysis with Pd/C was employed, avoiding phosphine ligands and phase-transfer catalysts. In a trial series involving 15 different iodo- and bromoaryls and 7 boronic acids, both energy sources drastically reduced reaction times affording biaryls in acceptable to good yields. With palladium(II) acetate as catalyst, electron-deficient aryl chlorides also reacted, affording a few biaryls in acceptable yields. Ullmann-type zinc-mediated homocoupling of iodo- and bromoaryls in the presence of Pd/C under CO2 atmosphere was achieved in aqueous media under US, though not under MW. Suzuki homo- and cross-couplings were also carried out in a new reactor developed in our laboratory, featuring combined US and MW irradiation, further improving a green synthetic method. 相似文献

A detailed NMR study and full assignments of the 1H and 13C spectral data for two novel triterpenoid saponins isolated from the stem bark of Pentaclethra macroloba (Willd.) Kuntze are described. Their structures were established using a combination of 1D and 2D NMR techniques including 1H,1H-COSY, TOCSY, NOESY, gs-HMQC and gs-HMBC, and also electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and chemical methods. The structures were established as 3beta-O-([O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-[O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)])-alpha-L-arabinopyranosylhederagenin (1) and 3beta-O-)[O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-[O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)])-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyloleanolic acid (2). 相似文献

The relationship between the 13C and 17O NMR chemical shifts and the dihedral energies (non-bonding interactions) of 1,4-dioxaspiro[4.4]nonane, 1,4-dioxa- and 6,10-dioxaspiro[4.5]decane, 1,4-dioxa- and 6,11-dioxaspiro[4.6]undecane, 1,5-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane, 1,5-dioxa and 7,12-dioxaspiro[5.6]dodecane and 1,6-dioxaspiro[6.6]tridecane were analyzed.
