The notions of “labelled set” and “numerosity” are introduced to generalize the counting process of finite sets. The resulting numbers, called numerosities, are then used to develop nonstandard analysis. Using infinitesimals, we develop Malliavin calculus on spaces which result from the classical Wiener space by replacing with any abstract Wiener space .We start from a Brownian motion b on a Loeb probability space Ω with values in the Banach space is the standard part of a ∗finite-dimensional Brownian motion B. Then we define iterated Itô integrals as standard parts of internal iterated Itô integrals. The integrator of the internal integrals is B and the values of the integrands are multilinear forms on , where is a ∗finite-dimensional linear space over between the Hilbert space and its ∗-extension .In the first part we prove a chaos decomposition theorem for L2-functionals on Ω that are measurable with respect to the σ-algebra generated by b. This result yields a chaos decomposition of L2-functionals with respect to the Wiener measure on the standard space of -valued continuous functions on [0,1]. In the second part we define the Malliavin derivative and the Skorohod integral as standard parts of internal operators defined on ∗finite-dimensional spaces. In an application we use the transformation rule for finite-dimensional Euclidean spaces to study time anticipating and non-anticipating shifts of Brownian motion by Bochner integrals (Girsanov transformations).  相似文献

This paper studies several aspects of asymptotically hyperbolic (AH) Einstein metrics, mostly on 4-manifolds. We prove boundary regularity (at infinity) for such metrics and establish uniqueness under natural conditions on the boundary data. By examination of explicit black hole metrics, it is shown that neither uniqueness nor finiteness holds in general for AH Einstein metrics with a prescribed conformal infinity. We then describe natural conditions which are sufficient to ensure finiteness.  相似文献

We prove that, in Euclidean space, any nonnegatively curved, compact, smoothly immersed hypersurface lies outside the convex hull of its boundary, provided the boundary satisfies certain required conditions. This gives a convex hull property, dual to the classical one for surfaces with nonpositive curvature. A version of this result in the nonsmooth category is obtained as well. We show that our boundary conditions determine the topology of the surface up to at most two choices. The proof is based on uniform estimates for radii of convexity of these surfaces under a clipping procedure, a noncollapsing convergence theorem, and a gluing procedure.  相似文献

We develop a notion of an n-fold monoidal category and show that it corresponds in a precise way to the notion of an n-fold loop space. Specifically, the group completion of the nerve of such a category is an n-fold loop space, and free n-fold monoidal categories give rise to a finite simplicial operad of the same homotopy type as the classical little cubes operad used to parametrize the higher H-space structure of an n-fold loop space. We also show directly that this operad has the same homotopy type as the n-th Smith filtration of the Barratt-Eccles operad and the n-th filtration of Berger's complete graph operad. Moreover, this operad contains an equivalent preoperad which gives rise to Milgram's small model for when n=2 and is very closely related to Milgram's model of for n>2.  相似文献

We prove that the quasi continuous version of a functional in Epr is continuous along the sample paths of the Dirichlet process provided that p>2, 0<r?1 and pr>2, without assuming the Meyer equivalence. Parallel results for multi-parameter processes are also obtained. Moreover, for 1<p<2, we prove that a n parameter Dirichlet process does not touch a set of (p,2n)-zero capacity. We establish global solutions of nonconcave hyperbolic equations with relaxation arising from traffic flow. One of the characteristic fields of the system is neither linearly degenerate nor genuinely nonlinear. Furthermore, there is no dissipative mechanism in the relaxation system. Characteristics travel no faster than traffic. The global existence and uniqueness of the solution to the Cauchy problem are established by means of a finite difference approximation. To deal with the nonconcavity, we use a modified argument of Oleinik (Amer. Math. Soc. Translations 26 (1963) 95). It is also shown that the zero relaxation limit of the solutions exists and is the unique entropy solution of the equilibrium equation.  相似文献

In this work, we give a priori height and gradient estimates for solutions of the prescribed constant Gauss curvature equation in Euclidean space. We shall consider convex radial graphs with positive constant mean curvature.
