A rapid method was developed and validated by ultra‐performance liquid chromatography–triple quadrupole mass spectroscopy with ultraviolet detection (UPLC‐UV‐MS) for simultaneous determination of paris saponin I, paris saponin II, paris saponin VI and paris saponin VII. Partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS‐DA) based on UPLC and Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy was employed to evaluate Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis (PPY) at different harvesting times. Quantitative determination implied that the various contents of bioactive compounds with different harvesting times may lead to different pharmacological effects; the average content of total saponins for PPY harvested at 8 years was higher than that from other samples. The PLS‐DA of FT‐IR spectra had a better performance than that of UPLC for discrimination of PPY from different harvesting times. 相似文献

This article sets out the results of air quality biomonitoring along a transect bordering on the A32 Turin–Bardonecchia motorway (Italy). The results were obtained using aeroponic sampling units, an innovation insofar as the plants acting as monitor live and grow in these units above ground, assuring that atmospheric pollutants are absorbed only through the leaves. The accumulation of 15 polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) on the leaves of Brassica oleracea var. Acephala, used as biosampler, was determined on samples taken in the months of February, July and October 2002, in each case after two months' exposure. The results highlight: (i) the influence of the seasons on the accumulation of pollutants, (ii) that phenanthrene, fluoranthene, pyrene and chrysene generally account for more than 80% of total PAHs, (iii) that the data may be considered representative of both volatile and non-volatile compounds. Valeneomerins A–D, two new neomerane-type sesquiterpenoids and two new nor-sesquiterpenoids, were isolated from the roots of Valeriana officinalis var. latifolia. Among them, valeneomerin A (1) was identified as a sesquiterpenoid with an unprecedented 15,3-lactone loop while valeneomerin C (3) and valeneomerin D (4) were determined to be nor-sesquiterpenoids with a new 15-reductive neomerane-type carbon skeleton. Their structures were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic analysis and Cu Kα X-ray crystallography. Compounds 1, 2, and 4 exhibited significant neuroprotective effects against H2O2 induced oxidative stress in SH-SY5Y cells with viability of 49.8, 40.9, and 44.6% each at 50 μM, respectively, in contrast to positive control (catechin, 50 μM) with viability of 32.6%. 相似文献
