Isolable cationic PtII and PtIV alkylidenes, proposed intermediates in catalytic organic transformations, are reported. The bonding in these species was probed by experimental, structural, spectroscopic, electrochemical and computational methods, providing direct evidence for π-bonding, the often-theorized relativistic stabilization of these species, and the influence of oxidation state.  相似文献

Herein we report the preparation of a series of Ru(II) complexes featuring α-iminopyridine ligands bearing thioether functionality (NNSR, where R = Me, CH2Ph, Ph). Metallation using [(p-cymene)RuCl]2 permits access to Ru complexes with a κ2-N,N donor set in which the thioether moiety remains uncoordinated. In the presence of a strong field ligand such as acetonitrile or triphenylphosphine, the p-cymene moiety is displaced, and the ligand adopts a κ3-N,N,S binding mode. These complexes are characterized using a combination of solution and solid state methods, including the crystal structure of [(NNSMe)Ru (NCMe)2Cl]Cl. The κ2-N,N-Ru(II) complexes are shown to serve as efficient precatalysts for the oxidation of sec-phenethyl alcohol at modest loadings (alcohol: Ru = 20:1), using a variety of external oxidants and solvents. The complex bearing an S-Ph donor was found to be the most active oxidation catalyst of those surveyed, suggesting that the thioether donor plays an active role in the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

Herein, we establish the preparation, characterization, and reactivity of a new diphosphine ligand, 1,2-bis(di(3-dicyclohexylboraneyl)propylphosphino)ethane (P2BCy4), a scaffold that contains four pendant boranes. An entryway into the coordination chemistry of P2BCy4 is established by using nickel, providing the octaboraneyl complex [Ni(P2BCy4)2]—this species contains a boron-rich secondary coordination sphere that reacts readily with Lewis bases. In the case of 4,4′-bipyridine, an air-sensitive coordination polymer is obtained. Characterization of this material by solid-state NMR and EPR spectroscopy reveals the presence of a charge-transfer polymer, which forms as a function of intramolecular Ni→4,4′-bpy electron transfer (ET), providing an array of oxidized nickel sites and reduced 4,4′-bpy radical anion sites. Notably, the related intermolecular reaction between the model fragments [Ni(dnppe)2] (dnppe=1,2-bis(di-n-propylphosphino)ethane) and a bis(boraneyl)-protected 4,4′-bpy, provides no ET. Overall, the P2BCy4 fragment provides a unique opportunity for Lewis base activation, in one case allowing for the facile construction of monomers for incorporation into redox-active macromolecules.  相似文献

An exceptionally efficient ruthenium-based catalyst for olefin oxidation has been designed by exploiting N,N′-bis(pyridylidene)oxalamide (bisPYA) as a donor-flexible ligand. The dynamic donor ability of the bisPYA ligand, imparted by variable zwitterionic and neutral resonance structure contributions, paired with the redox activity of ruthenium provided catalytic activity for Lemieux–Johnson-type oxidative cleavage of olefins to efficiently prepare ketones and aldehydes. The ruthenium bisPYA complex significantly outperforms state-of-the-art systems and displays extraordinary catalytic activity in this oxidation, reaching turnover frequencies of 650 000 h−1 and turnover numbers of several millions.  相似文献

The reaction between a dialkyl-substituted alumanyl anion and [Y(CH2SiMe3)2(thf)3][BPh4] resulted in the formation of (dialkylalumanyl)yttrium complex 2 , which exhibits the first 2-center–2-electron (2 c-2 e) Al−Y bond. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2 together with an X-ray crystallographic analysis indicated a C2v symmetrical structure. DFT calculations on 2 revealed that its LUMO consists of overlapping 3 p- and 4 d-orbitals of the Al and Y atoms, respectively, and that the HOMO–LUMO gap is narrow. The UV/Vis spectrum of 2 exhibited a visible absorption at 432 nm, which suggests that the strong σ-donating and π-accepting character of the three-coordinate dialkylalumanyl ligand generates a colored d0-complex that does not contain any π-electrons.  相似文献

In the context, some lanthanide (Eu3+, Tb3+ and Sm3+) complexes with conjugated carboxylic acids (pyridine-carboxylic acids derivatives) have been synthesized and characterized. The low temperature fluorescent spectra for these complexes have been measured at nitrogen atmosphere (77 K), indicating that the central Ln3+ ions locate in an equivalent coordination environment with low symmetry for most of these lanthanide complexes belonging to dimeric or polymeric structure. Therefore, the electronic dipole transition (supersensitive transition) (5D07F2 for Eu3+, 5D47F6 for Tb3+, 4G5/26H9/2 for Sm3+) and magnetic dipole transition (5D07F1 for Eu3+, 5D47F5 for Tb3+, 4G5/26H5/2 for Sm3+) show the regular change in the corresponding split number of fluorescent spectra, which can be realized to predict the fine structure of lanthanide complexes.  相似文献

Aminocarbonylation of aryl halides, homogeneously catalysed by palladium, is an efficient method that can be employed for obtaining amides for pharmaceutical and synthetic applications. In this work, palladium (II) complexes containing P^N ligands were studied as catalysts in the aminocarbonylation of iodobenzene in the presence of diethylamine. Two types of systems were used: a palladium (II) complex formed in situ; and one prepared prior to the catalytic reaction. In general, the palladium complexes studied achieved high conversions in an average reaction time of less than 2 hr, which is less than that for the standard system (Pd (II)/PPh3) used. The pre‐synthesized complexes were faster than their in situ counterparts, as the latter require an induction time to form the Pd/P^N species. The structure and electronic properties of the ligand P^N can influence both the activity and the selectivity of the reaction, stabilizing the acyl‐palladium intermediates formed in a better manner.  相似文献

By the reaction of KCN with Cp2TiCl2 (Cp = η5-C5H5) in boiling methanol, bis(cyclopentadienyl)-methoxytitanium(IV) cyanide, Cp2Ti(OCH3)CN, is formed which in air is converted into the dinuclear oxygen-bridged derivative (Cp2TiCN)2O. By the same procedure, the bis(methylcyclopentadienyl) analogue [MeCp2TiCN]2O has been obtained. An X-ray diffraction study of (Cp2TiCN)2O has shown that the CN group acts as a unidentate ligand with a Ti? C bond length of 2.158 Å and a Ti? C? N bond angle of 177.7°, very close to linearity. The Ti? O bond distance, 1.836 Å, and the bond angle at the bridging O atom, 174.1°, are normal. The ligands are arranged in a nearly tetrahedral way around the Ti atoms. The structural results are compared to those for similar dinuclear titanium complexes.  相似文献

A straightforward preparation has been found for bis(dichlorosilyl)methylamine, (SiHCl2)2NMe ( 1 ), involving reaction between H2NMe and an excess of SiHCl3, dissolved either in pentane or THF at 253 K. 1 and a side‐product, 1,3,5‐trichloro‐2,4,6‐trimethylcyclotrisilazane, (–SiHCl–NMe–)3 ( 2 ), were identified by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and 1H‐NMR‐spectroscopy. Some physical, NMR‐ and IR spectroscopical properties of 1 were determined. The molecular and crystal structure of 1 was investigated by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Selected structural parameters: r(Si–N) 169.7(5), r(Si–Cl) 203.1(2)–204.4(2), r(C–N) 150.0(8) pm; a(SiNSi) 123.6(3), a(SiNC) 118.3(4)/118.0(4)°. Ab initio force field data and infrared intensities were calculated for four conformers of 1 . Comparison of the observed and calculated IR spectra favours the two structures found ab initio provided that their actual abundancies are different from those calculated.  相似文献

A novel and efficient approach to ortho‐trialkylstannyl arylphosphanes by the reaction of arynes generated in situ with stannylated phosphanes (R3Sn? PR2) is described. Concurrent C? P and C? Sn bond formation occurs with high yields, and stannylated products are easily transformed into valuable ortho‐substituted arylphosphanes. The reaction features high efficiency, good regioselectivity, and excellent practicality.  相似文献
