An elastic-viscoplastic constitutive model was adopted to analyze asymptotically the tip-field of moving crack in linear-hardening materials under plane strain condition. Under the assumption that the artificial viscosity coefficient was in inverse proportion to power law of the rate of effective plastic strain, it is obtained that stress and strain both possess power law singularity and the singularity exponent is uniquely determined by the power law exponent of the rate of effective plastic strain. Variations of zoning structure according to each material parameter were discussed by means of numerical computation for the tip-field of mode Ⅱ dynamic propagating crack, which show that the structure of crack tip field is dominated by hardening coefficient rather than viscosity coefficient. The secondary plastic zone can be ignored for weak hardening materials while the secondary plastic zone and the secondary elastic zone both have important influence on crack tip field for strong hardening materials. The dynamic solution approaches to the corresponding quasi-static solution when the crack moving speed goes to zero, and further approaches to the HR (Hui-Riedel) solution when the hardening coefficient is equal to zero.  相似文献

In this study, two-dimensional transient dynamic response of orthotropic plane layered media is investigated. The plane multilayered media consist of N different generally orthotropic, homogeneous and linearly elastic layers with different ply angles. In the generally orthotropic layer, representing a ply reinforced by unidirectional fibers with an arbitrary orientation angle, the principal material directions do not coincide with body coordinate axes. The solution is obtained by employing a numerical technique which combines the use of Fourier transform with the method of characteristics. The numerical results are displayed in curves denoting the variations of stress and displacement components with time at different locations. These curves clearly reveal, in wave profiles, the scattering effects caused by the reflections and refractions of waves at the boundaries and at the interfaces of the layers, and also the effects of anisotropy caused by fiber orientation angle. The curves properly predict the sharp variations in the response at the neighborhood of the wave fronts, which shows the power of the numerical technique employed in the study. By suitably adjusting the elastic constants, the results for multilayered media with transversely isotropic layers, or layers with cubic symmetry, or isotropic layers can easily be obtained from the general formulation. Furthermore, solutions for some special cases, including Lamb’s problem for an elastic half-space, are obtained and compared with the available solutions in the literature and very good agreement is found. The Fourier series method was extended for the exact analysis of wave propagation in an infinite rectangular beam. Initially, by solving the three-dimensional elastodynamic equations a general analytic solution was derived for wave motion within the beam. And then for the beam with stress-free boundaries, the propagation characteristics of elastic waves were presented. This accurate wave propagation model lays a solid foundation of simultaneous control of coupled waves in the beam.  相似文献

Turbulence-intensity measurements were made in a Taylor-Couette flow reactor consisting of two counter-rotating concentric cylinders designed for the purpose of studying turbulent premixed-flame propagation. In the annulus separating the two cylinders, a nearly homogeneous turbulent flow is generated. The intensities of turbulent velocity fluctuations in the annulus in both axial and circumferential directions were measured by using laser-Doppler velocimetry for a wide range of cylinder rotation rates, corresponding to low through high (120 cm/s) intensities relative to typical laminar flame speeds for lean methane-air mixtures. The experimental measurements indicate a linear relation between turbulence intensities and average cylinder surface speed and demonstrate the usefulness of the Taylor-Couette apparatus for studies of premixed-flame propagation in high-intensity turbulent flow.  相似文献

The paper studies the relationship between the physical characteristics of a cylinder and the properties of normal axisymmetric waves in elastic–liquid waveguides. The cylinder is made of a compliant material in which the velocity of shear waves is less than the sonic velocity in a perfect compressible liquid. The complete system of dynamic elasticity equations and the wave equation are used to describe the wave fields in the elastic cylinder and fluid, respectively. This approach allows obtaining the dispersion characteristics of coupled normal waves in compound waveguides over wide ranges of frequencies and wavelengths. The curves of real, imaginary, and complex wave numbers versus frequency are plotted for specific pairs of waveguide materials. Computations are carried out for a thick-walled cylinder filled with a fluid and immersed in either vacuum or a fluid. It is found out that compliant and rigid materials of the cylinder affect differently the wave interaction process in elastic–liquid waveguides  相似文献

微波热致超声成像技术通过向物体发射微波脉冲, 导致物体吸收电磁波温度迅速升高, 产生瞬时压力波, 从而激发产生超声波信号, 通过传感器对产生的超声波信号进行采集并成像, 最终还原了反映物体吸收电磁波能量特性的图像, 由于此方法兼具了微波成像的高对比性和超声成像的高分辨率特点, 理论上验证了热声成像技术对早期乳腺肿瘤检测的可行性. 本实验兼顾系统成像深度和分辨率, 采用S波段的微波脉冲信号源对物体进行辐射, 利用圆形扫描方式对待测物体进行检测, 同时为了更好的验证成像性能, 本实验同时使用了肿瘤仿体及实际生物组织进行成像实验. 通过实验分析, 验证了该系统对肿瘤仿体和生物组织检测的有效性, 以及系统的高分辨率和高对比度特性, 为早期乳房肿瘤检测提供了进一步的理论支撑.  相似文献

本文介绍了非均匀部分相干光束的概念, 并用数值模拟的方法详细研究了其在自由空间传输后的变化. 研究结果表明, 经过自由空间传输后非均匀部分相干光束会发生不同于传统相干模型光束的显著变化. 这种变化和光束传输距离、光源空间相干度分布、光源光强分布密切相关. 经过传输后, 源平面自相干附近点的空间相干度发生突变, 在短距离传输过程中源平面高相干区域的空间相干度会降低, 接收面各点的空间相干曲线不再相同, 随着传输距离增加, 非均匀空间相干度会逐渐趋于均匀.  相似文献

分析了刚度和阻尼并存的一般边界条件下线弹性杆与刚体的纵向碰撞过程,得到了碰撞后第一个波动周期杆振动的位移、速度和应力的解析表达式,讨论了碰撞持续时间为2倍杆长与波速比的条件.将导出的解析表达式通过具体的算例代入计算,讨论了不同质量比、不同连接刚度条件下连接阻尼对于碰撞过程中杆中质点速度及应力响应的影响.研究表明,连接阻尼改变了受碰撞弹性杆的振动模式,连接阻尼影响着碰撞反射波速度和应力的突变幅度;连接阻尼增大,杆中速度和应力响应分布变平缓:在连接刚度较大的情况下,连接阻尼变化对于杆中质点速度和应力影响较大;碰撞持续时间与质量比、连接刚度、连接阻尼及杆长有关,与碰撞的初速度无关;在质量比较大的情况下,连接阻尼使得反射波到达杆碰撞端时,杆端的应力有显著的变化.  相似文献

This study analyzed variations of tribological behaviors that depend on the injection molding techniques during the blending of short glass fiber (SGF) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) reinforced polycarbonate (PC) composites. The proposed planning of blending experiments is to use a D‐optimal mixture design (DMD). The tribological behaviors of friction coefficient and wear mass loss were selected for discussion. Nine experimental runs, based on a DMD method, utilized to train the back‐propagation neural network (BPNN) and then the simulated annealing algorithm (SAA) approach is applied to search for an optimal mixture ratio setting. In addition, the result of BPNN integrating SAA was also compared with response surface methodology (RSM) approach. The results of confirmation experiment show that DMD, RSM, and BPNN integrating SAA method are effective tools for the optimization of reinforced process. Furthermore, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) images show that the abundant debris are peeled off from the matrix materials and predominant delamination mechanisms and plastic deformation are shown on the worn surface after tribological behavior tests. The wave propagation in the piezoelectric bend rods with arbitrary curvature is studied in this paper. Basic three-dimensional equations in an orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system (rθs) are established. The Bessel functions in radial co-ordinate and triangle series in the angular co-ordinate are used to describe the displacements and electrical potential. Characteristics of dispersion, distributions of displacements and electrical potential over the cross section are calculated, respectively. In the numerical examples, the effects of the ratio of the two ellipse axes on the dispersion relations of the first three modes are observed. The characteristics of the distribution of displacements and electric potential in the cross section, along the radial and s direction are investigated.  相似文献
