利用超高速相机,在曝光时间100 ns时,对不同能量下激光在氮气气体开关中形成的火花通道进行拍照,得到了不同焦距下激光波长266 nm时激光火花通道长度与激光能量的关系。开展了激光触发气体火花开关的实验研究,激光触发开关延时、抖动随激光能量的增加而减小。将火花通道长度与激光触发开关的特性进行了分析,气体开关的抖动随着激光火花通道长度的增加而减小,当火花通道沿电极间轴向长度达到开关电极间距40%时,开关的抖动为亚ns量级。 相似文献

Magnetic bunch compressor is one of the key technologies on the path to next generation accelerator driven facilities. In this paper we report the design principles and the first experimental research of the bunch compressor developed at Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP). The length of the bunch after compressor is found to be about 0.7 ps (rms) and the peak current exceeds 500 A when operated in the optimized condition. The sensitivity of the bunch length on the phase of the acceleration field and magnetic field of the bunch compressor was also measured and analyzed. 相似文献

γ+jet events provide a tomographic measurement of the medium formed in heavy ion collisions at LHC energies.Tagging events with a well identified high p T direct photon and measuring the correlation distribution of hadrons emitted oppositely to the photon in ALICE,allows us to determine,with a good approximation,both the jet fragmentation function and the back-to-back azimuthal alignment of the direct photon and the jet.Comparing these two observables measured in pp collisions with the ones measured in AA collisions will reveal the modifications of the jet structure induced by the medium formed in AA collisions and consequently will infer the medium properties. 相似文献

Electromagnetic scattering from an infinite and a finite length PEMC circular cylinder, illuminated by an arbitrarily oriented
dipole, is investigated theoretically. An electric dipole as a source of excitation is considered first, and then a magnetic
dipole as a source of excitation is treated. In contrast to the case of an axially directed dipole, it is shown that no additional
terms are needed to incorporate the cross-polarized component of the field for the case of radial and circumferential dipoles.
Numerical verifications are presented to verify the validity of derived results and numerical code by comparing results with
the published literature.

This paper deals with the numerical resolution of the Vlasov–Poisson system in a nearly quasineutral regime by Particle-In-Cell (PIC) methods. In this regime, Classical PIC methods are subject to stability constraints on the time and space steps related to the small Debye length and large plasma frequency. Here, we propose an “Asymptotic-Preserving” PIC scheme which is not subjected to these limitations. Additionally, when the plasma period and Debye length are small compared to the time and space steps, this method provides a consistent PIC discretization of the quasineutral Vlasov equation. We perform several one-dimensional numerical experiments which provide a solid validation of the method and its underlying concepts, and compare the method with Classical PIC and Direct-Implicit methods. 相似文献

A type of high birefringence dual-core photonic crystal fibers (DC-PCFs) with a central row of elliptical air holes have been proposed. The transverse electric field vector distributions of the two modes are evaluated, the birefringence or coupling length with the different parameters is numerically analyzed based on finite-element method. The numerical results show values for the birefringence of 8.247 × 10−3 (for wavelength, λ = 1.5 μm and lattice length, Λ = 1.3 μm), and for the coupling lengths about 3.1 mm and 2.6 mm (λ = 1.5 μm and Λ = 1.5 μm) to modes of x and y polarized, respectively. With the increasing of the air-filling fraction in proposed DC-PCF, the coupling length becomes longer and the birefringence becomes higher. 相似文献

The application of the hidden Markov models (HMMs) is attempted for revealing key features for the earthquake generation which are not accessible to direct observation. Considering that the states of the HMM correspond to levels of the stress field, our objective is to identify these states. The observations are considered after grouping earthquake magnitudes and the cases of different number of states are examined. The problems of HMMs theory are solved and the ensuing HMMs are compared on the basis of Akaike and Bayesian information criteria. A new insight on the evaluation of future seismic hazard is given by calculating the mean number of steps for the first visit to a particular state, along with the respective variance. We further calculate an estimator of the mean number of steps for the first visit to a particular state and we construct its confidence interval. Additionally, a second approach to the problem is followed by assuming a different determination of observations. The HMMs applied to both approaches, contribute significantly to seismic hazard assessment via revealing the number of the stress levels as well as the way in which these levels are associated with certain earthquake occurrence. 相似文献
